Sixty-five years old, huh?

Well if the 30 somethings are pumas and the 40 somethings are cougars and the 50 somethings are jaguars, then what the hell are the 60 somethings?

And all you 70 and 80 something gals...come out, come out wherever you are. Just admit your addiction and step forward.

We KNOW you're out there.

Who doesn't love and want this man?

Perhaps only the 100 somethings.

Nah. He could probably nail them too.

LMAO at Nik.

Yes, he probably could.

I work with a 69 year old who thinks Rob is hot. I fall into the cougar category and am proud to say I have a Rob addiction.

Kate said...

LOL I'm a puma so and here I was thinking i was a cougar LOL

Ana73 said...

kate - i thought the same thing. i guess i dont fit a cougar yet. sometimes i feel like a jaguar, freaking old :)

i think 60 and over would be a lioness, is there such a thing??

Haystackhair said...

Age has nothing at all to do with the hotness that man inspires. Holy hell, you'd have to be freakin dead not to want to do bad things with him.....to him....under him... you get my point.

Mars said...

Nikola, you are HIlarious! And, I never knew there were age-categories! I always assumed a cougar was a cougar. Interesting...

Oh dear! I love this 65-year-old! Let's face it: there are no age limitations on liking Rob.

Marenostrum said...

I am pre-puma then... Anyway, I guess it doesn't matter whatever cat we are, we only want one mouse :P

bonemama said...

Yes it's me(jumping up and down)40 something Mary loves rob! There I said it!

Nikola Six said...

A HUNDRED THOUSAND MILLION Sylvesters chasing ONE Speedy Gonzales.

Yup. That just about sums this HURRICANE ROB situation up.

Nik

Nikola Six said...

You can run 'mouse', but you cannot hide.

I've been looking for a nickname for Rob for some time now and now I've got it.

From now on...he's 'mouse.'

It's perfect. Being chased by all these cats. I'm surprised someone in the media didn't think of it first.

Thanx Marenostrum. You're brilliant.

Nik

Marenostrum said...

Nik, you inspired me with all these different types of cats. Mine was just filling in the blank...

Nikola Six said...

Okay. Were brilliant.

He's my little 'mouse.

I love it.

kchambers77 said...

i think the entire cougar, jaguar, goat (60 year olds) terms are really stupid.

a guy dates a chick a lot younger and he's a stud but now i call them a r kelly.

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

65? Not too old at all...

I don't get the ones that don't understand his hotness..

My own daughter thinks he's nothing special..

Burn the witch!

Sadrilil said...

Hmm I always thought I was a cougar I am glad and proud to say I too am a PUMA! woot.. Like that so much better! OO and well yes I to am a complete addict!

One thing to firm up however dont they consider those nicknames for single women not that any of us wouldnt all of a sudden become single if a certain man was to ask them to lol... So if you are not single but still in the addicted to Rob anyway at 33 what should our names be??

I showed pictures of this darling man to my 75 year old friend. Her response was quick, "Who wouldn't want a piece of that??!" hehehehe

Mars said...

Laurie - That is too cute! I love how fiesty everyone gets when it comes to Rob, haha!

lostinphilly said...

rpattzgirl - I thought I was the only one who has a daughter who doesn't think Rob is hot. So, yes,"burn the witch" LOL She says he's not her type, I said, honey, Rob is everyone's type, just beautiful and perfection. She then says, nah, I just don't see it.

Bitch. LOL

Marenostrum said...

In terms of colors, he is not my type either. He is the first man I liked without dark hair and dark eyes. (I still like his eyes more with dark contacts.) To be honest, when I saw his pictures for the first time, I couldn't get what people liked about him, UNTIL I see him speaking, smiling, looking, TOTALLY ALIVE... So what is really attractive about him is not the way he looks, it's something totally different.. Charisma, aura... Whatever... It's like love, if you could explain it, you wouldn't be in love..

connie56 said...

It's time for me to come out of the closet ... I'm Robsessed, too! If the sixty-five year old lady can do it, so can I! I've been lurking for a while, not sure if I could actually come out and say I LOVE THIS MAN! I'm irrevecably addicted to him!

I fall into the jaguars category (hangs head in complete embarassment)...

I've kept my obession to myself and it's been KILLING ME! I haven't told anyone other than my 15 year old daughter, and she doesn't quite get what happened to her used to be sane mother! I have to tell somebody, so can I join the party here??

Marenostrum said...

I think this 65 year old lady encouraged us all!!!

Mars said...

Awww, Connie56, of course you can join the party! I'm embarrassed because (this is going to make many of you dislike me...) ICAN'TSTANDTHETWILIGHTSAGA!! (said in one breath) But... Rob is wow. I love Rob. I too came "out" a few days ago.

Marenostrum - Deep! And so true. It's Rob's humour that makes him so appealing to all of us, really.

Marenostrum said...

Marz, you are not alone.. I didn't like the books that much either.. The only thing that makes them attractive for me is the chance to dream about Rob while reading them. I can't stand the writer's mentality and I am so happy that Rob was unaware of the Twilight Saga before he did the audition. This is a big plus, otherwise he would lose some -a little bit- of his charm for me. I was also unaware of the books before I fell in love with Rob...

connie56 said...

So's you know, I've been lurking for a while, absolutely loving the pictures and lmao over the comments. I don't quite understand what hit me, or when it happened, but I find myself here every single day. His holy hotness has quite the mesmerizing effect ... I haven't had a crush like this in god knows how long. I wanted to join you, but my god, if I do that, I really am obsessed!
This hottie totally owns me. There. I said it. I'm out.

Mars said...

Marenostrum - TOTALLY! I read the books and hated them. Though that still didn't keep me from enjoying the film! hahah! He's also aware of how idiotic (slash POSSESSIVE!) Edward is (BIG plus!) I've seen most of his other movies (save the Ring of the Nibelungs and Vanity Fair) and he always plays such lovable characters.

Connie56 - I think Pamela Leach deserves a metal! She helped you proclaim your admiration of Rob! hahah! She's a hero! JK And we all lurked... Hell, I've been lurking on ROBsessed since they were filming NM and never said anything! haha!

TheQuietOne said...

@Connie56

Greetings from a fellow jaguar! I'm 51 and NO ONE knows of my addiction!

Your last comment could have been written by me! I'm here everyday (afraid I'm going to lose my job if anyone discovers I'm here during work hours). I just cannot get enough of Rob! I cannot explain it...I truly am addicted!

Anonymous said...

Puma too gals at the confession shrine ... we r all imprinted by Rob..and my granny may her soul rest in peace would surely have shared my infatuation lol.

jc(britlover) said...

57 and totally Robsessed!!! I'm proud of it and everyone knows it!!

Marenostrum said...

I have seen Little Ashes... I loved the movie. I loved Rob in that movie beacuse he made me hate Dali at the end. Dali was so alive with him...

By the way, I love movie version of Edward much more because he is edgy, ready to fall... I cannot stand the fact that he is so moral in the book which means Stephenie Meyer is talking with Edward's mouth.

connie56 said...

@the quiet one ... OMG!!! Thank you! I sneak over here whenever I can at work, and hope like hell I don't get caught cuz they might just send for the guys in the white jackets then. I tried not to come here, really I did ... it just didn't work! I need my fix ...

TheQuietOne said...

@jc

Yay! Another jaguar!

@Connie56

I've been looking for the guys in the white jackets, too! I have these conversations with myself in my car on the way to work in the mornings: "You know you need to stay off the Rob websites today!! This is crazy!!" Yet, the first thing I do when I sit down at my desk is log on...and Robsessed is always the site I check first!

Somehow, I feel validated now, because I know I'm not the only crazy jaguar!

connie56 said...

I wasn't gonna say it, but tomorrow I'm 53. Ugh. On the plus side, I now know I'm not dead yet because Rob, well Rob ... gah. He makes me warm all over.

There's a song by George Michael called "I want your sex" ... and guess who I'm thinking of??

Mechevpao said...

Marenostrum, I agree what you said about how Rob played Dali and Edward, I liked both aspects as well, ad it was agreat point you mentioned, in the book Edward is very moralistic but the movie Edward has more of an edge.

And with Rob it is not only the looks but the personality that makes us be all heads over heels.

RPnKSaddict said...

Welcome connie!! (waves)

I'm a puma I guess..close to cougar...I doubt that the Robsession will end anytime soon...have been for 3 years now...yikes!

Marenostrum said...

Mechevpao,

I was so touched by the love between Lorca and Dali in Little Ashes. I was crying all along with Lorca. Rob likes to put himself down as usual but I don't agree at all that they (Javier and Rob) look ridiculous in that movie. I don't know if any love story between any person and any caharacter Rob plays will affect me as much anyway... (I love to see Rob in love...) They were so successful at reflecting that attachment, attraction and tension. I loved it..

connie56 said...

Thanks for the welcome, RPaddict! (waves back!)

Three years, huh? I guess it won't be going away anytime soon, then. It's a good day when I can make it till lunch without checking to see what's the latest here.

If he only knew ...

Mechevpao said...

Marenostrum, I think Javier did an amazing job as Lorca, such strong actor playing against Rob, made the chemistry between the two of them work very well; the way it was treated in the film was very well done, they did it with a lot of respect for both characters.
It was funny how much the press tried to make it into a gay love story, when it actually was more about a frustrated love story between to talented and admired characters in the artistic world.
I think Rob did a good job, given the fact Dali is a very difficult character to play and there was not much background story that explained why Dali acted in some ways, which made a little difficult to understand what he was trying to do into the character, I think that more acting training for Rob would have benefited him to deliver an even stronger performance, but the emotions were there.

Hehehe.. this is so OT from the rest of the convo, sorry ;)

I check this site continually at work (in fact I am there now). It's the only thing that can get me through the day.

Marenostrum said...

Mechevpao,

As you said Javier was amazing in the movie but we should also accept the fact that Lorca was the stable character in the relationship and obviously in the movie. His war was inside of himself in the beginning but exteriorly he knew what he wanted and why he wanted it. He already committed himself to love. His struggle started after Dali left him. What I am trying to say is it was obvious why Lorca felt the way he felt all along the movie. He might have gone through struggle but in his conditions, he was pretty human... It was easier to relate myself with him.

On the other hand, Dali was impossible to understand. He didn't have any values and whenever he had something to value, he just left or refused to value it. He couldn't stand to have anything precious in his life other than himself. And he already knew Lorca was precious... Not only for Dali but also for humanity. This should be something unbearable for a person who worhips himself. I already knew Lorca before, I love his poems.. After seeing the movie, I read a lot about Dali and I am amazed how I got the right feelings about his life and choices by just watching Rob's interpretation of Dali... As you said, he got the right feelings... He did a very good job.

My daughter at first really just did not see my obsession for Rob until she saw Twilight and then she actually used Rob's song "Never Think" to walk the aisle at her wedding.

Mechevpao said...

Marenostrum, I agree with what you said, I think you expressed very well the where wer both character coming from in their feelings.

Treasure, the story about your daughter using "Never Think" to enter in her weading, is very sweet.

Loisada said...

Rpattzgirl and Lostinphilly: I've got 2 teenage daughters and both are nonplussed by Rob. Both are also turned off by Twilight, so it may be an allergy to Edward and all the overhyping. My 15-year-old has discovered his music and adorkable interviews lately and seems to be gradually joining the fold. Smart girl!

So Marz and Marenostrum: you're are not at all alone in not being Twi fans. Many of us here appreciate Twi and Steph Meyer for one thing alone: giving Rob a chance to shine.

Ok.....NOW i feel better....i`m only 30 years old....LOL

Marenostrum said...

I am feeling better too as I am not even thirty.. :P (Coming close though..)

I'm 42, and finally feel normal ladies! I'm so glad you all came out!! I've not felt this way about an actor EVER. My two young daughters think he's hot too, but I have become a bit obsessed and was a little worried about myself. *Breathing a sigh of relief* ;)

Nikola Six- 60+ = Lioness' Yup!

Robert Pattinson - kicking tweens into puberty prematurely, while reversing the first signs of menopause in cougars. He's like a biological weapon, capable of bringing down civilization, one eff me stare at time.

Unknown said...

and yeah, I thought Roberto showed a lot of promise with LA. I think he's still got a ways to go, but there's a natural artistry to him and screen presence you can't teach. I do think it sounds like he approaches his characters in a very intellectual, studied way, and it will be interesting to see him maybe submit more to his intuitions when it comes to a performance in the future.

i remember him praising Kristen's acting because he said she can wear her hear on her sleeve emotionally when acting, and that it's harder for him to do that, to channel emotions in a more intuitive way.

There's a little bit of a self consciousness in his performances sometimes, but I think he's showing a lot of potential just a couple movies in really. You look at Johnny Depp in 21 jump street and it's like wow, he didn't start out as the Johnny Depp we see today.

MMc said...

Did you see Rob on Ellen Degeneres last year when he came out and the audience was swooning and he said, "Is that the sound of the cougars?" in his sexy British accent of course.
Was awesome. That was cute - yes I'm old enough to be Rob's mom but he sure does stir something in me that has been asleep for a long time. The excitement of young love is something we all remember and it feels good to experience it again if even in a fantasy.

We're hopeless romantics!!! Guys reading this would SO get sick, huh?

Anonymous said...

Oops...ended that post too soon, Grandkids are sleeping over tonight and was called from the room. *crackle*...who called 60+ goats??? How insulting!

Lioness' all the way man! Us 60 + were the ones at Woodstock, we still Rock N' Roll...Cher, Goldie Hahn, Susan Sarazan and many others are all OLDER then I am...

Contrary to popular belief, your libido does not decrease with age girls, for many of us it just get stronger. Too bad May West wasn't still around, she'd have plenty to say, especially about ROB!!

Rock on Sisters, Rock on!!

katie said...

I actually read twilight only because Robert had been cast and I remembered him as Cedric and thought he was beautiful.

I don't have a problem with Twilight, I think the books make for fun summer reading. Edward in the book isn't just being moral, he's trying not to rip her in half when he finally does the deed.

With that said, I really like what Robert and kristen did with the title characters though, I think their interpretations are very fitting with the source material.

Nikola Six said...

I have absolutely no time to play on here tonight as I'm packing to drive back to LA tomorrow, but...

I just have to say, I believe these are the best posts I've ever read on ROBsessed. Why? Because they're REAL. People confessing and trying to express what they feel for this extrodinary young man.

If I live to be 100, I doubt I'll ever be able to figure out just what it is about him that has sent off of this cliff. I grew up in Hollywood. I grew up in this business and no one has ever affected me the way Rob has. I said EVER! I've had a few crushes over the years (most notably Ralph Fiennes and Hugh Jackman), but nothing like this. I said NOTHING!
I think I'm gonna stop trying to figure it out and just go with it.

I love this place. So much so that I've tried to leave a few times, but I just can't seem to do it. And I don't think it's just Rob. I could go to a hundred different sites just to get photos and info on him. It's all of you.

Thanks ladies. I'm very happy to be here with all of you. You're the best and he's lucky to have such a group in his corner.

And thank you so much Goz, Dani and Kate. You set the tone (and we try to derail it every opportunity. lol) I don't know if this is the best Rob site on the web, but it's gotta be near the top.

Nikola Six- I'm so glad you stay! I have really enjoyed reading all of your comments- you have a way with words- and you're funny as hell!!! It's the truth- Rob has seized our hearts!

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

so what exactly is it that have women of all ages so fixated and obsess? is it his looks, charm, sex appeal, talent,,is it because he is mysterious or funny or shy,is it his face, body, hair, long fingers,is it because he plays a sexy vamp?? what the hell is it? i ask myself this question every day and i cant figuer out why iam obsess with rob.maybe you ladies can figuer it out.

Mars said...

I think we're all obsessed with him for all of those reasons. Some of us love him because he's Robward, while others are into him because of his dorkiness, and others still adore him because he's beautiful. It's the amalgamation of all of these things that make us literally LOSE OUR SHIT.

I'm quite sure he's aware of his effect on women, and is a bit frightened by it, but all in all, I think he's handling the fame very well. He's still (I have heard) a peach in real life.

Mars said...

Loisada - You're right. That's definitely one GREAT reason to be thankful for Stephenie Meyer. She did push Rob into the limelight. "Thanks, SM!" haha!

ginasparkles said...

I am 56 and have NEVER in my life obsessed over a celebrity before Rob. He is the hottest man I can imagine. Mind blowing sexual, that's what he is. How does he do that? And I love Edward too, only because I saw the movie before reading the books, and Rob created that character. I have been entertaining myself here for months, and felt compelled to finally post with the rest of you like-minded jaguars.

JandR said...

Hey this is a great blog chat today!! Shout out to connie56 - yay girl - welcome to the Ride that is Robsession. We all know how you feel and share in the joy that Rob brings to each of us in his own special way. I fit into the Cougar category and what you say about trying not to look at work in case you get caught out is the same with me - and then hiding from the kids at home just how much you are actually Robsessing - they know I love him - just don't see the attraction. LOL I just love the "feeling of being alive again" he has brought back into my life in my cougar years. Long live Robsession! :-)))

captain said...

He has said repeatedly in his interviews that fans project their feelings onto him because they assume he is like Edward when he is really not. But I think he IS Edward only better because he real.

Some body on here said earlier that he's awakened something in her that's been asleep for a long time, the thrill of young love and Rob epitomizes that dream boyfriend.

Anonymous said...

Interesting question..what is it about Rob that pulls us all in? With me I know exactly what does it, he has the whole package..and I mean the WHOLE package. Most other men have _some_ of it. When thinking of my ideal man, it's hard not to think of my father, admit it, many of us set our Dad's up as their ideal. I had a wonderful relationship with mine. He was 6 ft tall, had eyebrows like Rob's, thick hair, the same build, although I think my Dad was a tad er..hairier. He had the same high cheekbones and square jaw, but Dad had deep dimples in his cheeks and Dad's eyes were very much the same except very deep green with those long lashes.

So physically I can relate there as to why I'd be drawn to him. Other 'stars' have had those qualities, but were always a little too short to attract me. I like my men 6ft plus. (My DH is just under 6ft 3in.)

Ok, his smile and laugh are bar done, the best I've ever seen. When I see a video of him as soon as he breaks into a smile or a chuckle I feel warm all over and can't help smiling from ear to ear.
Quoting Edward.."He's like a drug to me, my personal brand of heroin"
I have NOT been depressed since I became ROBsessed and that's the truth! For me to go this long without a day where I feel the need to step in front of a speeding train is unheard of. I've been struggling with depression since early childhood. I had some seriously bad things happen to me when I was very young.
So for that alone I thank Rob from the bottom of my heart, I hope one day he'll realize just how much his kind spirit, his warm smile and goofy sense of humor is truely worth. I remember the old saying about people with 'healing hands', well he's got serious medicine in that face of his.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

i use to suffer from depression so i know where you are coming from, sometimes the simple things bring us the most happiness, iam glad you are over your depression.

Unknown said...

What pulls people in, and notice the large amount of cougary types here, is the fact he's got a mix of sex appeal and boyish charms. Ladies want him in their bed, and then they want to feed him homemade soup afterwards...

Anonymous said...

rpattz-turns-me-on: Thank you! It's almost been a year now. I never went more then a month without a serious bout of it before. Now when I can feel myself diving downward I quickly grab the very best painkiller I've ever found and watch some Rob videos on You Tube..:) What a relief it is....

Mars said...

I definitely agree with your reasoning, Rosa. How did you put it earlier...? "[Rob]'s like a biological weapon, capable of bringing down civilization, one eff me stare at time." He attracts all of us (regardless of age) because he is both fuck-me-now kind of attractive and boyish at the same time. We all like things that are a mix and Rob's a mix of sex and youthfulness.

Nice! This has been an amazing discussion. And to think it all stemmed from one 65 year-old woman. :)

Georgie said...

YAY to all the Cougars and Jaguars+ who have come out of lurkdom today - welcome to the party! I identify with you all:
* I have really unproductive days when I'm in the office alone coz of my Robsession
* My gorgeous daughters don't think he is anything special, DH is disgusted, so I keep it very low-key
* I haven't had a celebrity crush like this since my teens
* reversal of menopause: as Jand R said "makes me alive again"; hormones I never knew were still there!

Not only are Robsessors all around the world but we are from all age spectrums, and this is the best site to celebrate our addiction.

Temptation said...

Well Georgie I am the opposite I think this Rob addiction is going to kill me.... I am now addicted to FF Porn, I find myself looking at guys in a different way (lleeeerrring) and my neck is fucked from looking the computer screen......

Like my new glasses....

Anonymous said...

I have to agree with Rosa and Marz there. I do find myself fiercely protective of him. Probably as much as I feel towards my own. If someone puts him down, disses him, writes bad junk, invades his privacy or spread vile rumours about him I can hardly hold myself back and at times have lashed out at them publically on their blogs or their columns. I'm not sure if he appreciates it because I know some men really don't like to see a female defend them like that.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

@lynda

you are welcome!....

and iam in my early thirties so i guess that makes me a PUMA or COUGAR?

Georgie said...

LOL Tempt: but it's all about imagining Rob when you read it, isn't it?? As for your neck, a laptop in bed should be more comfortable. It is for me.

Temptation said...

Georgie I did the self sacrafice thing for the pain in the ass daughter of mine. She needed so rotating flip up graphic design laptop so I upgraded mine and gave to her. Now I have a lovely Imac with a huge screen, great graphics but it's too big to bring too bed...

Hey lot's of Cougars and Pumas on line tonight hey...

Unknown said...

Hi there!

Can I join in the fun girls?

I must say, RP does have an unstoppable oozing sex appeal, no? Even 65's just can't help themselves.

Well I guess I feel luckier (yeah right...) cuz I'm just a year older than him. (doesn't really mean that much luck isn't it?)

I wonder what he thinks about that. He said in one of his interviews that he MUST avoid women born above 1988. What about those women born below that year?

Georgie said...

...and Jaguars and Lionesses - the whole spectrum of Robsessed womanhood!

@ Tempt: Rob on a large computer is pure WIN (except for the neck) - something I have yet to see: roll on Sydney...

JandR said...

Hi Tempt and Georgie - I was wondering when this Cougar/Jaguar discussion would lure you both in! LOL

There have been some very insightful comments today and i agree with many of them. Including the appealing mixture Rob holds of youthful innocence and eff me eyes!!
And Tempt - you are not the only one eyeing up men through a different lens... Being at uni has distinct advantages ;-)

Georgie said...

Mary, only a year older than Rob (sigh...) At least you could photoshop a pic of you and Rob and not look creepy LOL!!

Georgie said...

Yeah Jand R, I too now look at (much) younger guys with "different eyes" - never did this before - hope it's not too obvious!

JandR said...

Hey guess what?? I bit the bullet today and booked my tix to the NM premiere!!! After a long discussion with Orion and Jacquie a couple of nights ago it sounded like we had a plan!! Staying at the Ibis in Darling Harbour. Where will you guys be residing? I have offered my room for the after premiere party at 3pm if we are up to it! LOL

Temptation said...

Hello Jandi - it is a really odd thing but I think I have become like a sexual preditor......I notice things like biceps, ab muscles, lips, very odd indeed...

Mary there will be no discussion on this thread about Rob not dating younger women in our minds he is open to everything.....

JandR said...

oops - that should read 3am...

Georgie said...

YYAAAAYYYY THAT'S FANTASTIC JANDR! I haven't booked anywhere yet - promised my girls a day of shopping the next day and to see "Wicked" so I can't abandon them completely LOL, but a "debrief" after watching NM is definitely something we have to do!

Temptation said...

YAYYY - Jandi you are coming to Sydney - how exciting......I havent booked my hotel yet only because I think I will stay in Randwick, apparently there are a couple of hotels close by that aren't too bad. My theory is the night will finish at 2.30am and I don't want to search for a cab with x2 16yo girls....

Georgie said...

Yeah I imagined 3AM. Are you staying a couple of days? My girls leave Friday afternoon when DH arrives but I can shunt him off to his mate's place and we can hang out Friday night?

Georgie said...

It's Sydney so there should be plenty of cabs around at that time.

Unknown said...

I don't think I could Georgie cuz that would be like a real life Edward and Bella pic..

just thinking about it makes me gloomy, just imagining how glorious his looks will be next to my plain self (shudders)

but it isn't bad when I daydream about him...

Temptation said...

AN AFTER PARTY - how cool...we should get on the laptop and give a NM review to all the lovely Robsessed ladies........No dirty comments either, you know how sensative these girls can be....

Sorry Tempt, I didn't think he would not date younger women, I was just wondering what he thinks about that EW article on a 65 year old woman confessing his robsession. I would just love to see his reactions.

Georgie said...

@Mary: don't feel bad, absolutely everyone (including Megan Fox) pales into insignificance when placed next to Rob; he just exudes that....something..... But I'd look like his mother next to him LOL!

Georgie said...

Ha ha yeah Mary, would love to see Rob's reaction! Or his outspoken Aunt's reaction!

Temptation said...

Mary if you were at 23 year old guy how would you react if a 65 year old was lusting after you ?????

He just has to stop taking such sexy photographs, my god everytime a see a new one I seriously dribble....

Temptation said...

JandR - that UTube link was amazing....I have never seen that one and I swear I would love to be underneath those hands...and god just the look on his face.....he has to know what he is doing to us...

Unknown said...

But that's it, he's not just ANY 23 year old guy, HE'S ROBERT "GREEK GOD" PATTINSON. He never does what everyone expects, that's what makes him so...what's the word again?? no not interesting, too shallow...hmmm anyway....(just thinking about him makes one run out of words)

Georgie said...

NOW I can see your avi Tempt: very artistic!

What YouTube link?

Temptation said...

Jandi posted one of Rob at Planet Hollywood making a hand cast with some horny blues music to it. I swear he is doing very very slow pelvic thrusting, very FF reading, and the look of consentration on his face is just OHHHHHHHH, and he is wearing a beanie.

Marna said...

Wow, I thought I might be the only jaguar on the board, nice to see all the other jaguars who come here.

Georgie said...

Yep join the party Marna!

Darn, the sound on my work computer isn't working but I saw that Planet Hollywood video earlier in my Robsession, around March. I didn't realise that Rob was that popular way back in April 08 though - that was way before any Twilight trailers even would have been out.

Georgie said...

Random Acts of Rob is the blog that Loisada mentioned in the other thread as being 17+ rated!

Temptation said...

Georgie you have to have the music going too ... trust me it really makes the whole thing....

You are just a bundle of knowledge there with your Random acts of Rob.....I love all the girls on this site, on the odd occassion you get someone a little too serious, but hey that's there addiction problem...

JandR said...

Sorry Georgie and Tempt - got caught up with something else!!
I can prob stay until Sunday in Sydney and will hopefully have my daughter with me. She said she wants to meet you guys too. I think we'll all have a blast and can't wait to meet you. :-))))

Georgie said...

JandR, is that your daughter who's at uni? Will she be finished her exams?

Temptation said...

Jandi - how old is your daughter ??? I have 2 x 16year olds with me and my plan is to have them line up while I wait in the bar.......You do realize the tickets are not allocated so if we get there together we can site together.. 800 people all moaning at once....How horney is that...

Georgie said...

Tempt: I've never participated on any other blog, but I know I got caught up in a....let's say rauncy convo on here one Friday night (US time) and a teen got on and said something about coming on without her "mom" knowing, and that just killed the conversation - everyone disappeared in a flash with me mumbling a hasty apology and also retreating.

JandR said...

Well the people going to Twilight first have the best pick of the seats and if I have to i can line up for hours ahead of time - did it for 8 hrs in NZ LOL
Claire is 18 and thinks she may have something in common with your girls Georgie LOL She introduced me to Twilight but is an Edward girl rather than Rob...

Temptation said...

GEORGIE you crack me up ....I like the fact that everyone dissapeared... so funny..who said we were all perverts.....I say perverts with standards....

Georgie said...

Ha Ha I noticed a comment on the Robert Pattinson Australia site, where they're promoting the Ritz NM night, that the theatre will ask any screaming fans to leave. Let's face it, most of us are going at midnight to avoid the screamers. There'll just be lots of heavy breathing and sighs, especially at the clocktower scene.

Temptation said...

Jandi Adele my daughter is 16 going on 23, she is an Edward lover and is not the least bit interested in Rob. She really likes DARK Edward so apparently in NM there is a lot of Dark Edward. Georgia her BF is a Taylor fan...well I suppose someone has to be....

JandR said...

Yes the uni exam thing is still up in the air as they don't actually allocate all the exam times until about one month before. She will probably have an exam that week - just have to hope it is on Monday as I want to fly over on Tuesday. Otherwise I'll be coming alone and will have a couple of spare tix for Twilight and NM - think I'd be able to find any takers?? LOL

Temptation said...

Girls we are in for the whole night so we are up for Twilight too.....I am avoiding watching Twilight the DVD for a while until we get to November....Very Hard......must not watch......

JandR said...

Hey Tempt it was always my plan to be sitting with you guys so we CAN all sigh and moan together haha
I just don't want to hear Orion saying fur rug fur rug in the middle of it ...just joking. ;-)

Georgie said...

My 19 year-old thinks Rob/Edward is "too pretty and cliched" and my 22 y/o leans to Team Jacob, also for the same reason! Can you even fathom their nonchalance!!

Temptation said...

My Girls are yr10 so they do have exams and yes I know what you mean about the scheduling they dont let u know until the last minute. We are lucky yr 10 you have a little more flexibility although her preppy girls school wont agree with that.

She can just tell them her Horny mum needs to go to Sydney to see RP and meet her soul sisters...

JandR said...

Georgie and I haven't seen Twilight on the big screen so that is one thing i am very much looking forward to. Not that I haven't enjoyed being up close and personal with Rob on my laptop. Hey you can see all sorts of extra detail when it is up that close. Did you ever notice that when Bella is asleep in her bed and Edward first stays with her her hand pushes up his t-shirt and you see his bare flesh - thought you'd like that Tempt! LMAO

Georgie said...

ROTFLMAO "fur rug fur rug" - Orion HAS to say that on the night!!

Temptation said...

JandR - the most steamiest part of twilight when Edward visits her in her room and they kiss and he has to restrain himself .... my daughter goes to the toilet ??? I said what are you doing this is the best part... it is the anticipation that kills me.......so Mr Darcy.....

Temptation said...

ORION is detoxing from her ROK (rob overkill) I suggested she use a focus point to meditate on.....what better image is the FUR RUG......

GOD I LOVE THAT FUR RUG PICTURE.....

Georgie said...

"Goes to the toilet"?? Georgie: keep it clean!!

JandR said...

God - I am usually on the edge of my seat leaning in for the action - the anticipation is tantalising, don't want to run away from that...
guess it is probably everyone's fave scene.

Temptation said...

No I mean she actually goes to the toilet as in "NOT INTERESTED" I have to pee so pee now.....

WHAT THE HELL.... that scene still makes me blush and wiggle...

JandR said...

I'm not so much into the rug - just what's on it! LOL
and the downward hitched trousers just seems like he's started for you and waiting for you to come and finish off with him....yumm

Georgie said...

Especially the deleted scenes and the slow-motion gifs of "the kiss"!

Temptation said...

Jandi - I am also into what is on the rug, with that OH I AM BORED LOOK, what can we do ???? The hitched trousers bring on a whole new meaning after reading some of the FF Porn....Does the term 'pitching a tent' mean anything too you ??

Georgie said...

Girls, I must leave the office - where I haven't done any work in the past 3 hours - and go home and try and make amends after dinner with these minutes of meeting I'm supposed to have produced! I might talk with you later - hopefully new Rob posts...Cheers

Georgie said...

I can't ignore that..."pitching a tent" - you notice it can only happen wearing boxers or dress pants, not jeans.

JandR said...

Well if your abstaining from Twilight for the next couple of months Tempt - I would recommend the six part BBC Pride and Prejudice with the Keira Knightley one woven in between...
Did you know that Orlando Bloom's sister had a small role in the KK version? She plays the governess to Lady muck's daughter...

JandR said...

Seeya Georgie - you just reminded me to check out Rob's groin in GOF...LOL

Temptation said...

I have P&P on DVD with Keira and adore it, I love the subtle love scenes and sexual tension amazing movie.....love love love it...

As for pitching the tent...Georgie that's why I love the Fur Rug photo I can visualize what is going on underneath.....

Younger guys dating/seeing/having affairs with older woman is more common then most people like to think. It's always been that way. It's rare that it lasts though. Women in the 'cougar' 40+ catagory get a lot of propositions. I know I did and I don't think I was anything out of the ordinary. If you take care of yourself, Hell sure a younger man will come on. They look at you and don't see someone insecure, someone who looks like they are confident as far at the bedroom goes, and isn't overly hyper or sensitive. They also feel comfortable talking to you and don't feel you're judging them like a peer would. They often seek an older woman for transitional stages, someone they can learn their self confidence from. But as I said..they move on..I'm not saying they forget you, they never do...it's just that how can they brong you Home to Mom if you're Mom's age or close to it..know what I mean?

Anyhow..I'm a Lioness, or maybe more acurately a "Snow Tiger", perhaps we should leave the Lioness to the 75+ catagory..LOL!
I have no assumptions where it comes to Rob, I like to look and smile. But frankly I'd feel ridiculous thinking anything else, if nothing else I'm realistic and see myself as I am, and there's no way he'd offer me anything but perhaps a helping hand to guide me across the street and hey, I'm cool with that....;)

Temptation said...

GIRLS gotta go now DH is lurking around and I have to do something that no one in this household can seem to do......Pick up the phone and order fish and chips..??

Hi girls if you are still around!!
Went to do the grocery shopping and my daughter bought the new Dolly magazine. It has a bonus 148 page Twilight Fanpire mag - go get it!!!! 326 photos - lots of nice stuff about Rob including a quiz. Of course we have probably already seen all the Rob pics - but if you are closet Robsessing - you can kiss the pages in private! LOL

orion said...

Hi Jandr! yes I saw today, but because I was with my husband I said to Sabrina we'll buy it tomorrow

JandR said...

Hi Orion - it seems I missed everyone again. Tempt gets off so early (well early for me here 2 hrs behind) - I know she has Rob waiting for her after she has been Robsessing about him all day, and that goddamn fur rug I keep hearing about LOL It was a fun discussion today but I guess you were having a hot little time of your own with Alexander - he just sounds delicious - is it pornographic? - certainly sounds like it is doing it for you gals!! haha

T said...

OK you guys have peaked my interest with all this talk about Alexander. I just checked out The Bronze Horseman to give it a try. I am hoping it will fill the void left by the Rob drought. I sure need something.

Diane said...

A thing of beauty is a joy forever. That's what the critics who dismiss Rob as a passing teen heart-throb have failed to grasp. He will not have to rely on young women alone to support his career. From the "Baby Crushing on Pattinson" with her Babu (if you've missed it, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD_wewTXaJA) to any female who still has a pulse, he is beautiful and compelling. Age has very little to do with it.
You wouldn't refuse to look at a fascinating painting because it was done 500 years ago, or dismiss the "oldies" like Clair de Lune because it's not age-approrpriate. Look at pix of the young Elvis, and he's hot. Nevermind that he's dead (or maybe not).

It may be teens who imagine that they'll someday snag him for themselves (everything seems possible at that age), but that doesn't make him any less attractive to the rest of us. Now I'm gonna go find my Rob mags before my mother hides them again.

Anonymous said...

Ladies, you must fill me in, I'm feeling stupid here. ;) What does "fur rug" mean? I THINK I know what you're talking about, but not sure..... haha!

Being 42, I have felt guilty as hell fantasizing about Rob. My daughters are 13 and 15, and they think I'm a little sick- it's ok for them to think he's hot, but strange for mom to. My hubby also gets a little cranky if he catches me reading anything about Rob. Or talking about the Twilight series. :) :)

This whole Rob thing has awakened something in me that I haven't felt for a long, long time- not to mention it recharges my sexual battery. The thing about him is that he usually doesn't look 23, he looks much more mature than that. I just can't help myself!

solas said...

I am sort of one of those Moms that people make fun of. Sort of. I neither phantasize about nor drool over Rob. I find him to be beautiful and very talented, insightful and adorable. But I AM a Mom, and I keep an eye out for him as a mother, wanting him safe and happy. I am more than a wee bit scandalized when I see postings about what women are hoping to do this with this poor lad.
And although I see much in common with myself and Rob intellectually, emotionally, artistically, that is common grounds not for physicality, but rather for friendship for those of us who are ageless and can find kindred spirits of any age.
Although not as beautiful, there is something more physically appealing, to me, in this area of desire, about actors closer to my own age: Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Ralph Fiennes. These are MEN, not little boys that are too like our sons. (ANd yeah, with psych as one of my fields, I have an idea about women craving for men who are their sons' ages). And I don't think these MEN are slouches in the intellectual or artistic areas, either.
So, yeah, I am a mom, but I won't be flashing myself at Rob or drooling over him, just worrying that he is happy and safe and not nightmaring about the dreams of women old enough to be his mother--or grandmother.

Georgie said...

VLK40: I know EXACTLY how you feel coz I and most of us on here are the same! Now the "fur rug"...
there was a post on Monday by Dani of thumbnail size photos of Rob including one of him in a red & black check shirt laying on a fur rug looking ready for action so-to-speak, and in view of the current Rob-drought, some of us Robsessors have been obsessing over this ever since. You can find it by clicking on "older posts" at the bottom of the front page.

Angela said...

I have an appt with a shrink in two weeks to discuss my twilight/Rob obsession and it's effects on my life.

For me, Rob has "it" similiar to Elvis, you can't describe it. Also, the unattainability is a big factor too.

I'm hoping my husband doesn't leave me over this but I think I've kept it pretty quiet around him.

He just thinks I like the books.

Anonymous said...

Solas:- You know, if this were a blog about Taylor Lautner I'd have to bow to your psych info..I do understand other women's fantasies about Rob, heck, I fantasize about him too. Doesn't mean that any of us are out there stalking the man. The majority of us are realistic, and it just means that we can still recognise 'sexy' and is that a bad thing? I don't think so, I think it's healthy and we are just being honest with ourselves and eachother. Please put Fraud in your back pocket, ok? No one here needs to feel guilty over this, Rob is a smart Man, I doubt he's having nightmares about us. Perhaps about the youngsters actively chasing him and lurking outside of his hotel and Twittering his every move, but certainly NOT us.

Btw, I don't have a son. Just sayin'...

Earlier today my grandaughter left here all happy, we watched "Twilight" together this afternoon and she sighed everytime Rob came on the screen and yes, she said.."Grandma, Robert is so sexy, don't you think so?" Why did she leave so happy? Well she told me she was annoyed that when she wanted to look at Robward she had to go to her Mom's room and oogle the large poster behind her door. So I gave her a Rob poster for the back of her own door. She was so delighted she had tears in her eyes and hugged me so tight I thought I was going to crack a rib..er....my grandaughter Amy turns 7 years old in 3 weeks...I'm not concerned about her ROBsession either, I think it's as healthy as mine was when I was 7 and oogling Cary Grant.

Lynda Bluecanoe- Thank you- that was so well said. You took the words out of my mouth.
