Awesome article! Huh, I guess it's no coincidence that Rob is really my only celebrity crush after my lovely Elvis Presley. Ha ha! (But dang, Marlon Brando and Paul Newman were hot as hell, too.)

Thanks Kate, for posting that... I liked the article.. a lot of big words :)

I would hope that Rob would take pride in this article.. just in the simple fact of the comparisons being made...

The last line of the article may be true.. "it could be that the boy is just good looking" ... well not being in the demographic that they count among his devote fans... I would say that is not the case.. looks will only get you so far in life.. there has to be more... in Rob's case.. I believe there is more.. I see more.. so I guess that's all that matters!

I can't wait for the "Twilight Saga" to finish filming.. I will never think badly of it because it brought Rob to us... but I can't wait for this opportunity to give Rob the opportunity to spread his wings and just fly... I really believe we are in for a treat when he is cut loose and really starts to soar!

Thanks for the large print for us squinters, Kate. Enjoyed it.

In fact, good read re matinee rebel icons and Cullensesque simbology resonating in the technological age...j/king. I think he's just...really handsome. ;)

There are quite some big words being used here. Symbolism, Industrialisation, economic crisis, national trauma.
All that put together in an article about Rob. Wow! *lol*

Not a bad article I have to say, its definitely a change from the usual "They are ENGAGED" rubbish!!

Wow, an interesting read -- occasionally spot on with his analysis of Rob's appeal -- though sometimes a bit patronising. Intelligent commentary. Mostly :)

LMAO, "more than just eyes were moist". AMEN! and yes, the boy is just damned good looking!!!

I agree haystackhair, that has to be the best line in the whole article "...more than just eyes were moist..."! lmao We females didn't fool Mr. Michael Bracewell for a second, did we? lol

I love the end comment..."Or maybe the boy is just good looking". LOL

After all that pondering he boiled it down to the core fact. LOVE IT!!!

Interesting reading :).

I have to disagree with that last line, although sometimes I wish it were true: if Rob were "just good-looking", it would be so much easier to dismiss him... there are other, probably much prettier, boys around... but it's what is behind that beauty (and talent), the kindness, the graciousness, the humanity, the decency, the integrity, that make it impossible for me to remain detached when Rob is concerned.

I am truly glad some intelligent new interviews and articles are finally surfacing! How refreshing! :)
