love in the 2cond video in the credit at the beginning:

50cent (leaving out the back just after the movie started)

seems to have been caught red-handed LOOOOOOL
I find it a bit lame that celeb come just to be seen on the red carpet and don't at least stay to see the movie, but maybe they go to so many premieres that after a while, it just gets old and they become more selective.

I am just overwhelmed with all this lovely Rob-candy. I'm not going to overindulge now but will save me some for the lean weeks ahead.

i'd like to be the green microphone!

Did anyone else see him speaking to Courtney the contest winner from Ustream? It was sweet and i thought Rob would cry about her story. Incredible how these books and movies have helped alot of people.

First, thak so much for posting these. I didn't get much from the myspace streaming other than obnoxious unfunny people repeating and promoting themselves. Perhaps just another example of my poor sense of humour?

Second--I am really trying to understand the screaming, and hope some of you can give some insights. I personally have only screamed once in my life when I was attacked by a dog and almost killed, and I was surprised that any scream came out at all. All of the other times I was almost killed, I didn't scream; I think I was in shock. But I know I am not normal. SO I am wondering, is this screaming for Rob a natural involuntary expression for normal people when they see someone they like or admire? Or is it people trying to be heard, over people who are trying to be heard, etc? Or is this a learned response for a specific age, in a specific culture?

I don't think Rob could pronounce m y real name, or if he could, it would be quite a challenge! ;-)

Rob looked like he was channeling a young Elvis during those first few minutes on the Red Carpet. Just something about the way he held his body, the same shrug, the same kinetic response to the energy. He did say he "blacked out" a bit at first :), it must be terrifying. Then he was back to being Rob, it was just in those first few minutes...

@Solas - I think that screaming is coming from the "Tweens" and it is similar to the screams one makes on a roller coaster ride. There's that brief moment when you're airborne in your seat, dropping rapidly, and while it feels that all the air is escaping from your lungs, there's just enough to respond by screaming because the feeling that is coursing through your body is tantalizing and all encompassing.

I have not beheld our Rob with my own eyes in person, but I think my reaction, while older than a Tween, would be the same. I do know that parts of me would be on fire in real life. Since those parts are below my lungs, perhaps I would be unable to scream aloud, but I could certainly moan a little.

Oh the effect Rob has on females everywhere! And, the best part of him, is his personality. He was certainly raised by parents who gave him envious values and nurtured him and allowed him to grow into a one-in-a-billion man who is loved, respected, and coveted all over the world.

Lucky is the one woman out there somewhere who will capture his heart in real life. I wish him happiness.

wow barbara. wow.

well, I think someone should shoot that annoying biatch that was supposedly guiding him down the carpet. I can not even watch it she is so stressed out and annoying. Listen chicky, he's done this all over the world for years, get your ars out of the pictures and off his shoulder. He knows when to turn around and pose.

He even had his usual people there, but this new chick, unless she's his mother, should be shot.

Grrrr...don't like people messing with my Rob. Guess it's part of the deal. Annoying people who think they are in charge or important somehow!

Luv his embarrassed cackle. :) Wish him a month of lie-ins and unrushed brekkies.

Angela- Sorry to tell you,but that lady is apart of his management team. It's her job to tell him where to go and what to do. Rob's team is no different than any other celebrity management team. They ALL do the same thing to their clients.

Solas- NO WAY!! You never have been so over taken by something that you screamed involuntarily? Besides almost getting killed by a dog? You need some fun in your life girl. That's kind of sad.:(
The girls that are screaming are just extremely excited to see Rob. They just admire and love him so much. But it's not just teens who scream. Adults scream at concerts for their favorite music artist. That's what people do to express their love and overwhelming feelings about that person they admire so much. It has NEVER EVER been an unusual thing to scream at a celebrity.LOL

Oh thanks for putting this up! Simply put, a compilation of the best parts of the premiere last night! Robert is truly one of a kind.

Meant to say that somewhere in one of these vids here or elsewhere, which are now melding into a pleasant if noisy blur, it was nice to see Rob hugging his costars like Billy and Eddie. I hope he got to enjoy the afterparty, and time with family and friends, amid the hoopla.

Barbara and Shani--thanks for your answers!

Well, I was THERE (not one of the crazy campers) and when I saw him I didn't feel like screaming. I just felt like smiling. From ear to ear. I think I did say, "Oh My God."

solas said...

Thanks Julbie; I think that is what I might have done as well, smile ear to ear.

Is it just me, or is Kellan Lutz starting to sound a little bitter?

Holy crap, that publicist of his could use a hairbrush, some highlights and, I don't know, a night out on the town or something. She looks 10 kinds of angry and stressed out. Good lord, I need a nap after watching her yell and fuss and get all frustrated at every little thing. What a crappy job. Other than, you know, hanging out with the sexiest man alive.

solas said...

Aww Marna, I was wondering that myself. :-(

I don't understand the film industry or workings of HOllywood, but it seems to me, re the lady who was directing Rob around, that she had to make sure all of the press and other contacts that were important had their 2 minutes to talk with Rob, and that the goal was to talk about the movie, not the actor's personal life.
