Amazing video! Fantastic vision of Edward and how he sees himself I guess! Could somebody tell me what's the soundtrack behind this? Just great! I'm looking so forward to seeing it next week-end... Have to wait until the screaming ones see it first!

I saw New Moon tonight & I am basically very happy with the way it turned out! There were a couple things that were left out that I would have liked to see, but that's inevitable with a book to movie transition I guess. One very pleasant surprise was the Remember Me trailer was played before the movie! I should have realized they would do that when it came out this morning but I really didn't, so I was very happy when it came on!

spellbound me too, saw it last nite and saw the RM trailer. WIN!!! LOVED the movie, was very pleased. The kisses were all f*ckhawt. Whoever said the reunion kiss wasn't as passionate remembered wrong, it was nice and loooooong. I thought the first kiss was hot too, like they had to stop themselves, and kind of panting. THUD. You really felt the love between them. And they did a great job of showing her relationship with Jake. Kristen did a fabulous job, Taylor was great, and I was almost squeeeeing like a fangirl when it was time to rescue Edward. Edward's pain was palpable, Rob did such a great job. Loved the crushing the phone scene!!!

If you want to read NM from Edward's POV, you should check out Blondie's fan fic, "Dark Side of the Moon." You will think SM wrote it.

And how f*ckhawt was it when Edward got to school, and that saunter over to Bella with the smirk. DIED!

oh, I'm so glad you liked it. I read some bad reviews yesterday and I got worried. Glad the kisses are hawt!!!

Just saw it. Loved it. I got lucky not many teenagers (school day) and no screaming. There was giggling when Jacob took off his shirt. It died quickly.

I agree with Haystackhair, loved the scene in the parking. Edward swaggering up to Bella with a smirk.

I loved that you could see them as a couple. There was hand holding and SMILING, like two people in love. Yeah and kissing, loved the kissing. heehee

I thought everyone did an amazing job on this. Edward was full of restaint but in the beginning you could tell he was happy.

Oh what a cliff hanger. So glad I have read the books. I would have been very upset. I heard others in the audience say "no, seriously" when the credits started to roll.

I want to see it again soon to see if I missed anything.

I really like the crushing of the phone scene too.
My friend and I had the pleasure of sitting next to two real life unicorns! Yep, they do exist and he was so funny Even having the Rob hair, very cute. While waiting for the movie to start he go the whole row doing a mexican wave, which everyone joined in LMAO! He was team Edward but when Jacob took his shirt of he gave a wolf whistle haha!
I'm going again on sunday to see it as I was a little distracted by my friend and am hoping to get a better feel for it. I loved it, but I want to feel what twilight make me feel.

That video was AWESOME! Thanks for listing the song too, Tina!

Saw NM last night at 2:30! It was AMAZING! I would only change a couple things. They did a really good job! I didn't get the RM trailer at my theater :( Good thing we have YouTube!

*Back to Robward daydreams* ;)

I just got back from seeing NM. I went to a 1:00PM show, & there wasn't a single screamer in the audience YAY! When I was leaving, I took a look at the line for the next showing, & it was filled with teens & tweens, so they must be going after school.

I really liked the movie, I thought the CGI wolves were amazing, they looked huge & didn't look cartoony at all.

I stayed interested throughout, even though when I read the book I got tired of the Jacob part. I didn't feel bored with the movie, Taylor did a really excellent job.

And (don't throw things at me) I didn't feel a lack of Edward, he was in the movie a lot more than I thought he would be.

I wish they had shown some of the trip back from Italy like the plane ride, & I remember thinking a few other things were missing but I can't remember what any of the were now LOL.

Did anybody see it in IMAX? Is it even released in IMAX yet? I would like to see it again, & IMAX would be cool.

I saw the movie this afternoon. I got there an hour early for the 12:20 show and there was already a huge line. I was surprised to see a lot of big groups of guys and some older women (age 40+) in the audience.

LOVED the movie. The October,November,December part was great. I didn't like Kristen at all in Twilight (or any other movie she's been in before), but I truly felt the emotion from her in this movie. I actually cried a couple times and I didn't cry at all reading the book. Taylor was great and of course Rob was awesome. The only thing that I thought was bad was Rob's white makeup and lipstick. I must have missed the part in the book where Edward became a tranny.

o dear god the kissing scenes were hot! im pleasantly suprised how true to the book they were able to stay. although i think the end was a little rushed - there should have been some more edward/bella loving! was anyone else pee-your-pants excited to here the words 'marry-me' come out of rob pattinson's mouth?!?!? i cant wait to get the dvd and replay that bit to myself over and over and over again (a girl can dream!)

LauraLovesRob said...

did anyone notice scenes in the trailer which weren't in the film. Like when Alice says to bella 'you're a human who know's entirely too much - they could kill us all'. And I also don't remember bella saying 'it's like a huge hole has been punched through my chest'. - Am I just imaginging this?!?!

Marna said...

purpleferbal, I almost swallowed my gum when I read

"I must have missed the part in the book where Edward became a tranny."

LOL. His lips WERE very red, but I noticed that EVERBODY'S lips were very red. Even Jacob's, you just don't notice it as much because he's not Al Jolson white. Somebody in the makeup dept really loves their lipstick!

Other things I noticed, Rosalie looks much better in NM than Twilight, & they still don't have Alice's hair correct, it's supposed to be short & spiky, not flat & wiggy. I don't think I need to mention Jasper's hair. Too bad Jackson didn't when they were fitting him.

Marna said...

That's what I forgot LauraLovesRob! Also, when Bella say "vampires have laws?", you don't see her like you do in the trailers.

Lisa said...

Bella did say 'the hole in my chest' line just not at the part that they showed in the trailer. She said it in an email to Alice (I liked how that was done btw)

I don't remember seeing one of the stills from the movie where bella was in bed with edward crouching over her in her bedroom with the forest in the background. It was a dream I assume. Did I totally miss that or what?

Anonymous said...

oh- I looooved the end and how it just went to black when he said "marry me":)

One thing i really missed from the book was the part where he said that he thought about her every second when he was away and "when I told you i didn't want you it was the very blackest kind of blasphemy". I just love that line and would have loved to have heard Rob say that...

Lisa
you're right.. The whole crouching Edward on the bed with wolf did not happen... Seems like tons cut out... Hopefully makes it to the DVD...

I think the person who edited went snip happy and left s lot on the floor

Angie said...

RPG, Rob and Chris said a lot of his apparition scenes were cut. I was looking for that scene on the bed, damn it. He looked good crouching on the bed. Hope it makes the DVD.

purplefurbal, I wanted him to say that line, too.

Marna said...

I forgot all about those pictures, I wonder what scene they were for.

I thought the movie as a whole was good, but thought it could have been longer. They jumped from scene to scene way too fast, almost like they had a check-list of parts of the book that they wanted to include and I could almost feel someone in the editing room saying "check" as they went a long. Actually thought Hardwicke did a better job getting the overall essence of the book. New Moon seemed a little flat to me.

Unknown said...

I laughed so hard when Eric was crying during Romeo and Juliet!!!!!

THAT WAS HILARIOUS!!!

I also liked that they cut Edward's scenes down.

The point of this one was that he was gone and we will get to see it on DVD anyway!!

I wasn't too crazy about the short endings. I wish they would have cleared it ALL up in the bedroom scene.

I was close to crying when Edward asked Bella if she could forgive him.

I thought Kristen acted very well in this one. I think the fact Twilight was so big Robert and Kristen worked harder, while they also knew so much more of their characters.

I was almost switching to team Jacob for a moment there.

I loved when Bella got mad at Jake for not letting her talk to Edward. GO BELLA!

I thought the movie was so much better than twilight in every way shape and form.

Alice's hair doesn't bother me that much and if Jasper didn't have brown roots and yellow ends, he'd be fine.

I absolutely loved this movie!
My friend told me how Edward pops the question and then the screen goes black at the end.

Amazing Ending! I was scared they would cut out some of the dialogue that happens before he asks and it was going to be a cheesy, "Well now that Jacob ran off, marry me?"

So glad it wasn't true

I saw the film last night in Nottingham. Sadly no Remember Me trailer!

I absolutely loved New Moon - to be honest I sobbed my heart out in my car afterwards. I was speechless when I got home ...

Such a beautiful look to this film, and the actors did a really great job. My only regret is that I watched some of the spoilers on here beforehand, some of the scenes were familiar to me already.

Well done Taylor, you were really great - you had the audience eating our of your hand! Kristen showed a lot more emotion in this - her heartbreak following the breakup was very believable.

Rob - oh where do I begin. He just looked so damned beautiful, it is haunting me.... The golden eyes were wonderful though I do think they took away some of his expression. When he said "marry me" I really thought I would die from the emotion of it....

Now when can I see it again - is today too early!!?

Wow! Wow!

Yea the scene in the bedroom where he asks if she can forgive him tore me up

he was just broken ... And that kiss, oh my...

All he needed to do was add my name to marry me, and life would be perfect!
