Bravo Germany: Rob doesn't want to be a vampire anymore!

Bravo magazine is definitely going for the "sensational headline to sell magazines" route :)

SHOCK!

Rob doesn't want to be a vampire anymore!

In the Twilight -Saga Edward Cullen lives a deathless life as a celestial pretty vampire. In reality Robert Pattinson (23) is already bored of the role as a bloodsucker after 2 years. Now the super actor admits: I don t want to be a vampire for the rest of my life. A shock for his fans!

New Moon is at the top of the German movie charts for 2 weeks now and has reached worldwide more than 300 million Euros. It s the mega movie of the year!

Why has the heartthrob no more desire for the vampire life?

I'm an actor and I don't want to commit myself to one role. There are so many other things I'd like to try , explains Rob.

And he doesn't have to wait long for jobs from the showbiz. Hollywood is crazy about the good looker, the movie producers line up for him.

In February he will be in front of the camera with the superstar Uma Thurman (39, Kill Bill ) in Budapest (Hungary ;)) for the movie Bel Ami . Just a few months later he'll be in New Mexico. Rob will shoot there together with his buddy, the X-Men hero Hugh Jackman (41), the western Unbound Captives . In between there are promos for Rob's new flick, the love drama Remember Me (in American theaters March 2010).
Robert raves: These are all so different projects. Really cool! I can't wait for the next shootings.

The escape from the vampire universe was definitely successful for him. But is there still time for the vampire saga beside the full schedule? Or does he turn his back to the Twilight -Clique now-even before all parts are in the can? After the 3rd part Eclipse (in theaters 7.15.2010 (Germany)) the fans are looking forward to the transformation of the last Twilight -novel Breaking Dawn . Until now there's no official statement from the producer Summit for the movie. Neither the director nor the start for shooting is confirmed. Possible reason: Breaking Dawn is said to get split into two movies. So the cinema box offices get twice the money. But that means new salary negotiations will go up as well.

The dream team Robert, Kristen Stewart (19) and Taylor Lautner (17) could look forward to salaries over several million Euros. But will that be enough to convince the super-vampire for another movie? Hopefully! After all there wouldn't be just millions of fans worldwide disappointed if their idol wouldn't be in it anymore. The clique would also never forgive him the escape.

Dear Rob, you can have both, though: First bring the Twilight Saga to the big romantic love final and then you fight your big Hollywood career out.

Thanks to @lutzus for the translation and Gossip_Dance for the scans :)

Rob needs challenges in his career.
He is a good actor and for me he is a great man. Rob must work with different directors. Sorry, but I don`t like Chris Weitz`s direction for New Moon.

The title Bravo used is all wrong. Rob wouldn't say that before whole saga is filmed. He would never disappoint his fans such awful way.

I love Chris I realy do but not for BD. He missed the love story he missed the glorious ending. Edward was more human than the most fragile human at the end, hummble pleading and begging insecure vulnerable shuttered breakable. I have never read something more emotional in my life than those last pages of new moon and I have read a lot. This should have been the climax of the film the catharsis of the characters the knowledge of the mistakes the up lifting experience of maturing through pain and devastation. This was new moon for me and chris completly missed it.

I am continually stunned and appalled by the lack of professionalism and accuracy in the reporting of celebrity news. I don't care if they are just writing about pop culture celebrity. It's still their work. Don't they take ANY pride in it? If it were me, I wouldn't submit one word of an article for publication unless I knew I got it right. And if I couldn't do that, I'd quit.

If the rest of us performed similarly in our jobs, we'd be out on our asses before lunch.

As usual a total load of fucking duck shit lies....
We just watched countless interviews with him, and although he wouldn't admit to being bored because that's so not his style, and has way too much integrity to say that, it's pretty clear that he's enjoying the role fir what it is.
It's the same character, but each story is different, and the characters grow & change in each one..,

no shit Nik, if I did my job they way these so called journalists do, I'd be sitting in the unemployment line, and hiding my face in shame for my lack of ethics.

I agree with Nicola and rpattzgirl. If only some of those magazines actually tried to report facts/truth for a change, lol

They don't care. They just want to sell their shit and they don't care what they have to do or say to sell it.

No wonder Rob and Kristen are keeping mum about their relationship (whatever it is). No matter what they say (or don't say), it'll get twisted into whatever these 'fiends' (love that word, thanks K), figure they can sell to us. What is amazing to me is that these two -as young as they are- have a grasp on all of this. They know that they're swimming in a shit storm and are trying to do all they can to keep their heads -along with their dignity- about it all.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...god, I admire them.

Did they just sign a contract to do 3 movies???????? And now for BD they have to renegotiate?

Nik and RPG,.. it is a bigggg stretch to call them journalists. A real journalist wouldn't touch this stuff.
A real journalist would take the "ethics" part of his learning seriously.
IMO...gossip columnists are failed writers who could not get a job doing the real thing.
Gossip mags are run for profit not truth!
Still I will be glad when the twilight saga is over for Rob and he can move on to hopefully fulfilling roles.(and maybe a bit of music..please!??)
It would be a good marketing ploy to at least act a little disinterested at this stage though, if there is any room for negotiations. The movie franchise is making bucket loads for Summit and it sounds like they have their lead actors locked into a sweet deal for them,(Summit). So if Rob can get more out of them for BD I say go for it.

@ Nik and others: Bravo is a teen magazine full of gossip and rubbish. It rather is entertainment, not journalism. Unfortunately kids believe it.
