Crazy - I know, I haven't been asked, but I would recommend a ff called "Fourteen". I haven't finished reading up to now (but I'm almost done) and liked it a lot. Although it's rated "M" it probably might be suitable. But I have to confess I cried a lot at the beginning. (Maybe someone here read it too and know how it ends and thus if is recommendable for a teenager since I'm not a mother myself?)

DM: Suz has confirmed from an upclose and personal look (damn lucky bioootch!) that they are indeed blue. In the zoom photo they look gray-blue, with a circle of yellow around the pupil, which would explain why the blend makes them appear green at times.
Pet, go back and read the rest of Fourteen. The treatment of Bella in it is very sad. Edward does redeem himself. :)

Very sad day for me yesterday. My 16 yo dog passed away. Feel like I've been hit by a train. Coming here and seeing pictures of the beautiful "alien" and reading all your comments has distracted me and make me smile. All the talk about FF is so tempting me to go there, only afraid I'll become addicted. Me thinks Rob is more confident than he portrays himself to allow a camera to get so upclose to his (gorgeous) face. His eye color has perplexed me, but convinced now that they're blue/gray and lighting or air brushing change them. This site is doing a great job of delaying the drought. Thanks.

Thanks you for your responses. He was 16, but a Jack Russell Terrier. Had a puppy face and bright brown eyes in his white face in his old age, although deaf and severely arthritic. In his younger days, he was a crazy, energetic, party dog. Every time I move, I'm still thinking he's here. You guys are the best and well Rob, indescribable.

@Lallieb So sorry about your dog. It's strange, last night my sister called upset about her 15 year old dog who has to have surgery this week & she's not sure she'll live through it. She's a beautiful sweet little shih tzu. She's also having to take meds for seizures. I was so upset when I hung up. When you have a pet that long they become so much a part of your life it's very difficult to let go. I'm glad though that you are here with all these great girls & Rob of course. If anyone can make you feel better, it would be him, right?!
