AP: should have been more (less!) specific. I'm working on a steps outline for a different movie, which has me wondering if/how the voice over used in RM trailer is incorporated in the movie (it's not in Memoirs). Won't be making any "use" of the script, it would simply be a useful reference for me. I'm more interested in looking at the script's framework, not content. Don't want to veer into copyright infringement... but know several fans here have nabbed the script for a looksee.

@Loisada: Ah, understand. I believe, though, that the voice-over is in the Fetters script, but not spliced as it is in the trailer. I think it was placed over the last sequences - the semi-montage section?
Curious as to your script. Is it a genre piece or biographical? Good luck with it, in any case. :)

Script I'm working on is biographical, on Louis Pasteur of all people! Am a translator who does English version of scripts for a French production company that mainly does documentaries, but also has a drama division. This is actually my first foray into a formatted fiction script. You sound like you know the business well... any tips?!

@Loisada: Pasteur? Different. Re the biz: not as well as I used to, these days. It sounds like you already have a good avenue with connections to your production company. The hardest part, as there are tons of how-to packages for writing, is to get anyone to read a script. If you know someone at your company who will do that, since they have a drama division, or will help you submit it elsewhere, that's the best way to go, unless you have an agent in mind. Just make sure you copyright before you submit. I'd really work those contacts, if I were you. :)
@Gwen: being nosey. Does your version of the script refer to "Neanderthals" as characters?
