I will always take issue with 'stalker' Edward. That is just us pushing our modern sensibilities onto this character. Everything he did. Every thought he had. Every unneccessary breath he took...was for her safety. Whether that was crawling through her window at night to watch her sleep or doing whatever he had to do to keep her away from something that he thought could harm her (young, unstable werewolves for example).

On the other hand...
He's a friggin' vampire. A predator. So he crawled in the window to watch her sleep. Could have done a helluva lot worse.

But just keep something in mind...
The word stalker has a very dangerous conotation to it. Something for us to fear.

Isabella Marie Swan had nothing to fear from Edward Anthony Masen Cullen.

Nada. Sorry, he just doesn't fit my description of a stalker.

But something else to keep in mind.
Edward Cullen was born in the last year of the Victorian era and came of age and was turned before women even had the right to vote. He grew up in a time before equality and liberation. In a time of chivalry, when men did protect women.

If people could just get this 'stalker' issue out of their heads where this character is concerned, they'd enjoy him alot more.

I've read The Sub (Bella's POV) and The Dom (Edward's) and I'm starting The Training. Sub was great. Dom was good. And I'm losing interest in the Training.

MOTU however is the best dom/sub story I've read. Hands down. In fact, thus far, this is my fav fic. The Edward in MOTU is my absolute favorite. It amazes that were nearly to 70 chapters and there's still so many unanswered questions. I think this thing could go to 100 chapters.

Not the same as MOTU except that they're both a dom/sub situation. The Edward in MOTU is much better written and much more complex. And in The Sub, Bella is a true sub whereas in MOTU, she isn't and he knows it and breaks every rule for her anyway.

And I just love her nickname for him in MOTU...Fifty Shades (for those who don't know, that Fifty Shades for...Fifty Shades of Fucked Up. Which this Edward most definitely is).

I just think that MOTU is a more improved version of the sub and the dom.

I'd love to read The Office, but it's gone. I did read her final chapters though and the epilouge, and from what others have said, I kinda put the story together. They wanted each other from the moment they laid eyes on, but he was her boss and was a bastard to her and then they had to sneak around to have sex and oh my...I think I missed a great fic.

And Wide Awake. So much so, that I think it may be my next one.

And yes, MOTU is taking it's time but I gotta feeling the pay off is going to be OVERWHELMING!

When he has to finally face those childhood traumas, he is going to shatter and Bella is the only one who'll be able to hold him together.
