Belgium’s Le Journal RTL TVI Talk About "Eclipse, "Bel Ami", "Remember Me" & Robert Pattinson

There's a tiny bit where they talk to Rob
Thanks to Le Rpattz Club for translating

Let’s talk about cinema and the 1st images from Eclipse, a successful international saga.

In this new sequel , vampires and werewolves must unite their forces to protect Bella from a terrible menace. Edward, the vampire must cooperate unwillingly with Jacob, the werewolf. As for Bella, she doesn’t know anymore who she loves. Since 2008, when the first film was released, the Twilight stars can’t walk out as they want otherwise they can trigger off a riot. Robert Pattinson is the favourite target of the paparazzi. Outside shooting are becoming more and more painful. Robert is shooting a new film, Bel Ami , in Hungary. It’s a new romantic drama. Photographers disturb him relentlessly and between the star and the paparazzi, the war is on.

RP ”We had to redub all the dialogue for Remember Me we shot outside because we can only hear the clicking of their camera. They don’t respect anything so I don’t respect them either.”

But let’s come back to Twilight , the third installement , called Hésitation, will be released on June and all the attention is drawn towards the fourth installement whose shooting should start in November. An installement which will be divided into 2films, shot one after the other but with distinct release dates.

Can't see the vid...

David Slade tweeted that he's in London working on the score with Howard Shore, basicly laughing at all the rumors flying around about Eclipse..

They're all stuck in London...I wouldn't mind being stuck there!

Ya all the flights have been cancelled here too because of the volcano in Iceland!

It hasn't been confirmed that BD will be broken up into two films. They haven't even nailed down the director yet! The Print and Media need to stop harrassing the Twilight cast!!

I really want 2 films..I cant imagine it being one big bang. Especially since the screenwriter butchered the dialogue into nothing. I can only imagine what she's gonna do to Breaking Dawn.

See what I mean about all those papps and people on a film set being a disturbance? And...it 'caused more work for him; pulling him away from his down time or pulling him off of another set temporarily (disturbing that film's schedule) so that he could back and dub another film. Not just loop some dialouge, but dub it. Do you know how much time that took? A lot. And none of it should have been necessary. And not only for Rob, but for the other actors he had to work with too. You think they appreciated that? Do you think he might have to leave the WFE or BD sets to return to Europe to dub Bel Ami because of the clicking of cameras during those location shots too?

The fans and the papps are gonna keep this up and you wait and see, the film productions he works on are going to bans (yes, even in public places) to keep unauthorized people so far away, they won't be able to see or hear or thing

I know. I keep pointing my finger at people having their 'fun.' And believe me, I get no joy from it. But I'll continue doing it because your fun comes at a price.

And he's got to pay it.

thanks @Juda, I didn't think it had been confirmed so I was just wondering why they keep printing this garbage.

Off Topic - my radio station that I listen to on the way to work was talking about the Rob rumor about the Kurt Cobain role and the alleged affair with the Gossip Girl actress. I mean what do they do just go to PHs website like that's the gossip bible or something? I was irritated and wanted to call in and give them an ear full, but then that would just fuel them to talk more junk about Rob. The more we get heated on these issues and give them attention then the more they seem to try to feed that lamo garbage to the public just to get a reaction from either the fans or the actors/actresses themselves.

RUBBISH!!

If we took all the tabloid garbage about Rob we could probably clog the damn volcano in Iceland up.

Anyway, sorry I am done now. I am going to drink my chai latte and chillax.

You can bet your house and both of your hands that BD will be two films. This is such a slam dunk that it doesn't even need conformation. Why?

* Because Meyer wants it.

* Because the book is over 700 pages long and if they don't break it up, to attempt to squeeze that book into one, two hour film will be to butcher the story

* Because (and this is the most important) there is more money to be made. Twice the ticket sales and twice the dvd sales.

It doesn't even require cognitive brain activity to figure out that this will be two films.

nikola6 said...

They'd make this franchise 45 films if they could figure out a way to do it.

Don't be surprised if Meyer doesn't continue the series with Jake and Nessie (in a few more years down the road) and that Summit will attempt another franchise.

It's all about the MONEY!!!

God, you know the only reason I'll be able to sit through 2 installments of BD is the fact that I'll be able to look at Robward. That book seriously tried my patience. Really liked the first 3, especially Eclipse, but only managed to make it to the end of BD because I refused to be defeated by it... It had little charm and I felt as if SM was just treading water. Really hope that they manage to make a decent film out of it, truly, I do.

Eclipse was my favorite of the 4. Can't wait for June.

S. said...

ITA, Fifty. it seemed to me that SM tried to wrap up the saga too quickly with "and then...and then...and then...and then aliens came and they flew away and then lived happily ever after." I think BD could be one movie if they left out the middle section about Jacob.

Fiftyshadesofpink said...

Hi angie! Eclipse was my favourite also, and hopefully sooo much Robward to look forward to. If the stuff we've seen so far is representative of the movie as a whole, it should be great. Eclipse Robward is the best yet!

@ NBwannabe
Yeah, cut the dog scenes out, plenty of room for loads of honeymoon action ;)

Sorry RPG just seeing that you couldn't see the vid (I missed that part of your comment)
Is anyone else having trouble with it??
It's working fine for me :-/

I was Paris recently for a holiday and saw different titles for the Twilight series in French translations. I don't speak French, but I figured their meanings match the like-sounding English words: Fascination, Tentation, Hesitacion, etc. I'm just wondering why they need to change the titles and not do a literal translation? Thoughts?

Everone loves Eclipse (including myself although New Moon was the most heartbreaking), because Eclipse is really Edward's part of the story. He really comes into his own here taking center stage; the love story finally kicks in and we get to really see Edward in action...for once him kicking the ass with the removal of Victoria's head from her shoulders. We also get to see just how much the man Edward really is in contrast with the petulant boy, Jacob (his understanding of Bella's conflicted feelings over Jake and THAT kiss, proved that).

The first story was really Bella's.
The second...Jake's.
The third...Edward's.
And the fourth...Nessie's.

As for BD...
I wrote a couple of long posts (really? long posts? you? ah...shaddup) about what I would do with Breaking Dawn if I could get my hands on it. First and foremost...

I would drop the imprinting. It's a hot button issue (although the audience interpreted it completely wrong in the extreme. It was not pedophilia). But it isn't necessary to the story. I'll explain why again if you guys want.
Wish I could remember what thead I wrote about it on and then I'd just direct you there. Anyone else read it or remember where?

But yeah. The imprinting has got to go. But I don't think it's gonna. And that's too bad 'cause I think they're gonna get seven kinds of shit slapped out of them because of it. And that's really gonna hurt, because as far as I know, there's only six kinds of shit.

Also...
I too thought that BD (in terms of the writing) was the weakest. I've chalked it up to the fact that it's because Meyer was writing both BD and The Host at the same time and BD suffered because of it AND especially the character of Edward Cullen. He was reduced to a supporting player. Even when HIS OWN daughter was ranking the importance of the people in her life, her father came in third...after Jacob.

That's when I sat up and hollared...THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT!!!

It was.

Oh and RPG...don't faint, but there is an e-mail sitting in your...uh...e-mail.

Actually hon...

I imagine there are several e-mails sitting in your e-mail, but this one I'm referring to happens to be from me. Hence the 'don't faint' comment.

Hi guys,
oh Breaking Dawn-talk, me likey...
So, i have a confession to make here:
since yesterday/even the day before I simply can´t get RP´s SKIN out of my head. U know, I just read en article there Cristina Ricci talks about RP´s beauty & his perfect skin AND I can´t stop thinking about his skin...
So I took "BREAKING DAWN" and found some mighty sexy/pretty mouthwatering lines about this topic.
Would like to share with u, just to tease u, drive u insane a little (like myself)...
So:
ISLE ESME
(of course, what else would it be???...)
"He wasn´t hard to find. He stood, his back to me, waist deep in the midnight water, staring up at the oval moon.
The pallid light of the moon turned his skin a perfect white, like the sand, like the moon itself, and made his wet hair black as the ocean.
He was motionless, his hands resting palms down against the water, the low waves broke around him as if he were a stone.
I stared at the smooth lines of his back, his shoulders, his arms, his neck, the flawless shape of him..."
Hm, yeah..., that would be enough, I say... Best to stop here... Hm... (don´t go there, don´t do that, let it be...)
Sooo, it could be/should be/has to be/MUST be a PERFECTLY MADE MOVIE!
Please, don´t mess it up for uss!!!

And can u just imagine the magic/irony in this whole Twilight-stuff;
It´s usually ART imitates LIFE, but in this case LIFE (as Rob & Kristen falling in love efter they met on the set of Twilight) imitates ART (as Edward & Bella falling for each other)...
Magical indeed...

Sorry if I was too long/boring;
I can be a pain in the ass sometimes, just can´t let things go (for my own good)... Hugs

The scenes that I am most anxious to see in BD is of course the wedding and honeymoon night and next day. The look on Edward's face when he realizes Bella is pregnant. The first time Bella sees her baby and the kick ass scene with the Volturie(is that spelled correctly)when Bella uses her special gift that protects her whole family. Then it will be over and Edward got to have a girlfriend, go to the prom, taste Bella's blood, get married, have sex, father a child and live the rest of his life with the love of his life. Can't ask for much more than that.
