I hated that Death Cab for Cutie song from NM, they need something a lot stronger than that as the main song.
I yelled when I heard this news. I freaking LOVE Muse with a fiery passion of a thousand suns. Gimme some piano, a few strings, a head bangin' base line and I'm good. I can't wait to start hearing/requesting it on the radio!

Btw, I love DCfC, LOVE them. But I was also disappointed in their song for New Moon. It could have been SO awesome -- I hate that so many people had never heard of DCfC, and that "Meet Me on the Equinox" was their first introduction.
I think, perhaps, The Postal Service would have been a better fit for New Moon, but, whatevs.... ;)

Matthew Bellamy and the boys just kill me. Muse is one of my favorite bands and I just totally turned my Mum onto them! I think she may be a bigger fan than I am!
I am so pleased that they have contributed to all the movie soundtracks! Plus the fact that last year they literally gave one of their songs from "The Resistance" to Adam Lambert shows how much class they have!
Edward Cullen and Muse definately go hand in hand! Can't tell you how many times I listen to Muse while writing my E & B fan fic...
If only Rob Pattinson had a song or two on the soundtrack...I'd buy a lot of copies!

Love Matt and Tom, despite they are so different, both of them have a wonderful and extraordinary voice.

Excited! Only a month away. I am obsessed with the soundtracks, and dare I say it, they are perhaps better than the actual films. If only Rob would be so generous to lend his voice a few more times.. that would make it perfect.

Oh man, I, too, wish Rob were on that CD. His voice, whether talking, shouting, whispering, whether his natural English accent, his RM American or his Edward voice, is to die for.
Someone reminded me of Orpheus recently (Rum...). Robert could give that guy a run for the money.
I still love the soundtrack from Twilight. Have it in my car and continuously loop it replaying a few times with song number 10 comes up just so I can fill my car with Robert's voice and guitar. I do like Muse, not so much Paramore. I have heard a lot of people say the Eclipse is their favorite of the books. I actually like Breaking Dawn best, Twilight second, Eclipse third, and New Moon dead last because of the lack of Robert. Sometimes I think that Stephanie Meyers herself prefers the character of Jacob (named for her brother) than the character of Edward. I have always wondered why none of the books were written from Edward's perspective as opposed to Jacob's. I can understand Bella's and some of New Moon Jacob's because Edward was gone. But even in Breaking Dawn that is really all about Edward and Bella there are sections from Jacob's perspective but not from Edward's. Maybe that is because she planned to do an entire book from Edward's perspective and I hope she will one day complete it.
