that´s candace she was DJ on Full House. And Rob was there cause they have the same agent :)

Vangie said...

since rob has no friends in the US except kristen, and she was not around,i guess his agent took her or invited him since john stamos and rob has the same agent stephnie and that's the connection at they cannot put no stories out there about him

Anonymous said...

That is so funny to see Rob at that party. I guess his agent drug him with her..... Rob looks so cute as usual. Is there booze in that milk Rob? :) White Russian anyone? :) So cute. Love you Rob.... bring your guitar next time and jam. You have to get over your live performing musical shyness. We all LOVE your music and want more......PLEASE.....

Congrats on the new guitars. Great investments. So now you have two vintage blues guitars to keep you company in your room. Sing us some blues Rob..

It's called "networking" people. Geesh!

With a character & personality as wonderful as his, I find it hard to believe he has no friends in the US.

It's not our business why he was there or who he has as friends. I sure hope he enjoyed himself, though.
:-)

Thanks for posting Kate! As always this is my Happy Place!

FILTM!

rob is a young guy,to be looking in a hotel room all the time, may be driving him crazy and this i will say again as rob has a chance he will go back the uk

anyone else find it hysterical that Rob was at Bob Saget's Bday extravaganza.. with Uncle Jesse?

Cheeky Chops said...

When I hear Steph, I think SM. Who's Steph?

Steph is Legit said...

when i hear steph, i think of myself...as rob's agent and then some lol.

Cheeky Chops said...

Oh, you mean his agent or whatever she is?

Cheeky Chops said...

Hahahaha agent with benefits. ;)

Cheeky Chops said...

Robert, stay AWAY from the twins~!!!

Vangie said...

let me write it correctly, since rob friends except sam bradely and the britt pack all live in the uk rob may be a bit lonely.Yes rob is s super friendly guy but can he trust and new associates as far as i see as long as and media person know you know rob, what ever you may there to be interviewed for the topic changes to rob and that's what i meant by no friends, look at ashely saying like he has no game with ladies so poor rob he has to be very care who he trust

Serap said...

So he attends all these Hollywood Birthday parties now? and Bob Saget really? He seemed so anti-Hollywood hence i like him...I hope he's not turning into the run-of-the mill Hollywood type.

hazeleyes said...

i dont think he will ever be the run of the mill hollywood type, i agree with previous post, its networking, you gotta meet and greet to get roles in hollywierd, dont discount bob saget,he has his had in lots of stuff .....maybe a way to see rob do a comedy someday.

Steph is Legit said...

and what type of friends do you all wish him to have? he can't make normal friends because they will probably be his friends for all the wrong reasons. Yes, the hollywood types are sh*tty, but its something they understand. I hardly doubt that brad pitt or angelina jolie would mooch off his celebrity. Sorry, but the only friends he can have no are in some way connected to the business. it sucks, but it is true.

Steph is Legit said...

Also, its Bob Saget. I mean really? I am pretty sure any one of us can finagle our way into his bday party lol.

Anonymous said...

everybody loves rob :)
glad that rob has downtime and he can go meeting and greeting colleagues :)

ShariG said...

From what I have read they all have the same manager, so it was probably something arranged by his management team. Lots of things in Hollywood revolve around making connections and making a good impression. Rob never disappoints. No friends in the US? Are you kidding? Kristen is here. I think she qualifies. Everyone who meets him seems equally as charmed. He is here by choice and we are very glad he is. The blonde woman works for their management team but is not Rob's agent. She seems to be assigned to Rob, lucky woman.

jmm4832 said...

I agree with Steph. Like other actors and actresses Rob's friends will be connected to show business except for the friends he had before becoming famous (ex: the Brit pack).

jmm4832 said...

Shari, are you sure? She looks an awful lot like Rob's agent Stephanie.

Ripley said...

Love seeing current pics of Rob where he seems more relaxed. FILTM!!!!

ShariG said...

I am not sure. On one of the websites that posted this picture she was identified as someone working for his management team. I thought his agent was a man. This woman also doesn't look like the blonde lady who stopped Ryan Seacrest's interview or the one who ran interference for him in London at the premier of Remember Me.

ShariG said...

It is kind of nice that John Stamos and Robert would strike up a conversation since both play guitar and sing.

kchambers77 said...

Bob Saget is hilarious! I hope they had a drunk conversation or in Bob's case drunk Rob stoned Bob convo.

Angie said...

John Stamos is a musician as well as an actor.

I hope that he hook Rob up with that type of connections!

Angie said...

hook = hooks

ShariG said...

chanel100 may be right. Candace Cameron Bure who was DJ on Full House is in a new ABC Family show, Make It or Break It this spring so it would be natural for her to be at this party and from the side it really does look like her.

Angie said...

ShariG, Rob's agent is a woman. His manager is a man.

Vangie said...

steph, you are so correct, that;s the friends rob will have to be around, they all a least most of them are on the same page so that is true what you said that is how rob will be meeting the other people in the industry like jack nichols i will like rob to bwork with jonny deep on day,rob is doing the right thing and we know he is a darling and everyone who met rob have nothing bad to say about him

jmm4832 said...

Shari, that blonde woman who interrupted the Ryan Seacrest interview is also known as the "blonde nazi" LOL, and I believe she works for Summit.

Petra Eller said...

Yeah! Rob go out and have fun. I like Stephanie
With Steph at least, he must not hide himself. I hope no milk in the glass but Caipirinha.;)

Loisada said...

jmm: As much as we love agent Stephanie, she only wishes she had that much hair! It could be Candice Cameron, as Chanel said.

http://www.buddytv.com/articles/full-house/what-are-they-up-to-full-house-8989.aspx

Rob has no friends in LA? Pfffff...... Problem is, many of the longtime friends he's acknowledged seem to be women (think Shannon & Camille), and every time he's spotted out and about with them the tabloids have a field day. So it's no wonder he tries to stay on the down low while in town.

And Angie, you're right, it's not any of our business, and I'm happy for him if can keep that secret garden for himself. You know he's got tons of buddies who love and support him.... in their own private way.

amy said...

Maybe he's just a Full House fan and thought how cool it would be to meet Uncle Jessie!? How's that for an answer? Or, he could have been hired as a gift to come because Bob is a huge Twilight fan! (I hope my friends love me that much!) Besides, it can't be the run of the mill Hollywood party if he's drinking milk! Wonder if they had cake and ice cream too? - or maybe they hired some of the horses for pony rides from WFE and he just tagged along for the hell of it. It's all just too funny any way you think about it! :) I do hope he had fun and would have liked to have been there to see the reaction from the other guests! :0

RobsessedCindy said...

Totally hilarious - Bob Saget and Uncle Jesse - really? @Kember I agree - Rob, stay away from Mary Kate and Ashley!!!

Netra2121 said...

Isn't it obvious as to why Rob is at Bob Saget's house and hanging out with Uncle Jesse? He is auditioning to be a member of Uncle Jesse's band Jesse and the Rippers! LOL

lallieb said...

I don't know a lot, and obviously Chanel1oo has some inside information, and makes perfect sense then why he was there. But here's the Rob 101, that I do know:
Stephanie Weitz is his agent, based in LA, and she is blonde, attractive in her '30s. Her name is right there on the right side of this blog for how to contact him. His manager is Nick, whose last name has just escaped me, but begins with an F (I think). He's the humorless little dark complected guy who follows Rob around at Red Carpets and seems to be with him more in the UK. I don't know where he's based. The blonde women who followed Rob around at NM promotions/interviews and made sure he wasn't asked or said anything "out of line" like who is might be dating (LOL) was a publicist hired by Summit, affectionately referred to a the "pitbull." And, lastly, there's Dean, the omnipresent big super uber-bodyguard, who accompanies Rob everywhere, except to Bob Saget's birthday party and the gym!!

acullengirl said...

Rob definalty has better hair then Uncle Jesse.Just glad he got out of his hotel room. It would suck not being able to go anywhere without someone snapping a pic or tweeting where you are or analizing every move you make.

Nice to see Rob out and enjoying himself.

Ana73 said...

I just think it's nice to see him out and about. i dont really care who's party he is at. i just love to look at him :))

but does anyone else think that it is strange that john stamos still refers to himself as "Uncle Jesse"???

SluttyPattz said...

Yay glad he's out and about. LOL - maybe uncle Jesse taught him the teddy bear song. I loved that Full House episode.

AP said...

I wouldn't try gatecrashing - not as easy as you think...;)Just dropped by with his agent for a drink and a natter - as Angie said - not looking for lifelong friendships...lol I don't know if people are misspelling her name on purpose, thought crossed my mind, but it's Stephanie Ritz, fyi.

Jazz_Girl317 said...

This was a serious SERIOUS WTF moment for me!!! It is totally...just...weird!!!

It was a collision of crushes. Uncle Jesse was a serious crush...when I was 10. Hmmm, is it odd that my crushes have gotten younger as I have gotten older? LOL

Holly LeCraw said...

Poor guy. I hope he didn't have to stay long. Of course he would be polite...but this doesn't seem like his crowd.

RobsessedCindy said...

What about Uncle Joey? Did anyone invite him to the party?

Kerri said...

*rubbing my eyes furiously*

Am I reading this correctly? Did we just walk into an 80's time warp? What the hell was Rob doing at Bob Saget's? How does he know him? LMAO!!!!!

Oh, Rob. I love you.

Kerri said...

Now that I've slightly calmed down, though I'm still breaking out in giggles, I have to say to John Stamos, yes, you may have rocked the mullet back when it mattered, but now Rob wears the crown for hottest hair. Move over Uncle Jesse, there's a new hotie in town.

Kelly Louise said...

First: Yes, I thought it to be an odd pairing at first as well but when I heard they share the same agent I just loved him even more because I'm assuming, since it would make sense, that she'd take him with her to socialize a bit and get out of his hotel room.. and if it's actually milk he's drinking.. my love has increased even more.

Second: I love you John Stamos but it's "than", not "then". (;

Marna said...

I'm confused, he has the same agent as John Stamos? Why would that get him to go to Bob Saget's birthday party? Or does he have the same agent as Bob Saget?

nikola6 said...

Does Rob Pattinson strike you as the type to spend a precious day off while in the middle of filming, at a Hollywood cocktail party schmoozing with people he doesn't know?

And a lot of the deals in Hollywood are not made in the boardrooms. They're made at cocktail parties, in resturants and on golf courses. Rob may very well have been asked to attend because someone wanted to meet him in connection with a future role. Also...

Hollywood wants to meet HIM. They're curious about him. When it comes to the serious stuff, THE WORK, Hollywood doesn't pay much attention to the pop culture; the rags, the gossip sites (and all of us yammering away here? were part of that too), as most have absolutely not the first clue as to what it is they're talking about. Hollywood knows he's not this flash in the pan (that some in this pop culture would have you believe) but quite possibly, the next great male movie star and there is alot of curiosity about him. Especially in the way he is handling this Beatlesque fame and in the way he is conducting his personal life. They're kinda awed by it actually. And...

The more famous you get, the more you tend to hang out with the famous as you become more and more insulated from the rest of the world. Especially now with the twaddle. When he runs into your average Joe and Jane on the street, how long does it take them to run and twaddle it? Hell, even other stars do it to him. Case in point, John Stamos. Why? Because one of the world's biggest spotlights is focused directedly on Rob Pattinson and if you can get near enough to him, even for just a few seconds, then you too can share that spotlight. And people want it now. They crave it. And now with the tecnology, Joe and Jane can be just as famous as he is...even if just for a day. And a C list star like John Stamos? His twat (I gotta find another word short for twaddle) is now all over the internet this morning, isn't it? ATTENTION!

I wonder if Rob ever thinks...do you think it's possible that there's someone in this world (other than my inner circle) who could spend some time with me and not run to the internet with it? I think it's a valid question and if I were him, I would TRUST NO ONE!

Hi guys. How are ya?

nikola6 said...

Also...

I haven't examined the picture, but if he's working out, then he could be cutting back on the hootch and that could be a protein drink. Remember, Edward Cullen is going on his honeymoon by year's end he's gonna hafta be showing some skin on screen AND he's got Taylor Lautner's body to compete with.

How ridiculous. I wonder if he ever thinks...I took this role 'cause I thought I could do something with it and in the end, I'm just in a hunk parade in order to appease a female audience who could give a shit what I'm doing on screen, just so long as I fit their physical image of the character.

Don't worry babe. Two more years and you can bury this sucker once and for all.

Loisada said...

The first thing I thought when I saw this picture was: did they have a bday photog who snapped a candid pic while Rob was chatting the host? Seems far fetched, when you see there's a second guy with his camera phone out in the pic, trying to get a shot too! Even at a private house, on Rob's down time, people are sneaking pictures.

In my view, if you don't think feel comfortable stepping up and openly taking the shot, then you probably shouldn't be taking it at all.

Nik: you're right, Hollywood is fascinated by Rob because he's stood the old star-making machine on its head. He's humble and hard working, and does his promotional work graciously. And yet he doesn't play along with the fame game, one bit. Who would of thought it would work, and make him an even bigger star? That's got a lot of industry people thinking....

WwWwW... to CLSTP !

Fiftyshadesofpink said...

This picture annoys me. Don't get me wrong, I love to see photos of Rob. I have no problem really with him being pictured at gigs, pubs and other public places, so long as he doesn't look as though he is being hounded. These were taken at a private party in the garden of a private house, seemingly in a surreptitious way. Don't like it.

Est said...

hello everybody!!!

ok, don't kill me but...who is John Stamos??

BTW, what is rob drinking? milk? jajaajaj

nikola6 said...

Remember that encounter with him that I told you guys about? That took place in July of 2008 and it was nearly a year later before I shared it. And part of me regrets that. A lot of me regrets that and that's because I did what I criticize so many others for. And I only did it to try and explain what brought me here in the first place.

I sometimes forget that this blog is more than just 'us'. The regular posters who chat back and forth. I forget that there's most likely millions lurking. But I swear to god...

If I ever run into him again, I won't spill it. Not after watching all of this for over a year now.

jmm4832 said...

Nikola,

I agree. There aren't many people Rob can trust not to post his picture and tweet about it. How about this friend of Kristen's Scout who always has a picture on the internet when they go on a road trip together. I'm so glad that Rob can trust his inner circle of friends at least. I love that TomStu said he doesn't talk about Rob in order not to place any more info out there.

Jane said...

Don't you just love the way Rob doesn't care... he goes to a party in virtually the same clothes he was wearing when he bought his guitars, just puts a shirt on top and good to go - hope he had a good time, whatever he's drinking he seems to be enjoying it.

solas said...

Nikola, i am glad to se eyou back. I may be keeping away from this blog myself. I saw seomthgn today after googling something AP commented on, and wanted to see your take on it. Hmmm, bet that is a protein drink of some kind. My husband and sons are taller than Rob but they have that same lean mean body type and they can eat all day long whatever they want and never gain an ounce. If Rob is trying to bulk up he has got to be eating nonstop.

By now Rob knows what is going on, wherever he goes he gets his pic taken. He's nice, he's handsome, he's famous, he's rich, he's young, he's interesting, what's not to like?

Hi, Nik, nice to see you back. Missed you.

TotallyRobbed said...

Nikola - glad you didn't stay away too long.

It must take years to make real friends in LA but he seems pretty wise. He knows what the LA party crowd want from him and it would be so out of character now if he started obliging them by opening up.

I'm also beginning to like the way he never comments on any sensational gossip story through his management - and by not dignifying any response whatsoever, the story eventually withers on its own and Rob rises again - smelling of roses!

Jane said...

Wonder if his agent is just taking him around to meet the Hollywood crowd or if Rob actually knew Saget?

Jane said...

I read on Perez Hilton that Kristen bought Rob a $6,000 vintage guitar for his B/D and an IPad. Wonder why he bought more guitars. Maybe he is a collector.

wow AP!! That was so interesting!! Thank sso much!! I would love to discuss this but don't want to ruin anyone;s happiness on the blog. I am wondering if I pronounce the word chameleon incorrectly--he used an sh sound at the beginnng, I pronounce it with k sound. What I found was a bit scary for Rob was about what he said re Russel Crowe being a liabilty on a set making him less bankable. I hope that the bloody intrusions when ROb is on set do not affect his ability to do projects he wants. Am putting smiles here so no one will be freaked by my seriousness. :-D :-D :-D and a little song and dance for further entertainment: bim bom bim bom bimbmbom. :-)

nikola6 said...

Solas...

If I'm gonna answer, then I'm gonna derail the thread. For anyone not interested in this, just scroll on by. And I'm sorry about the e-mail. I went to put up another one and I literally froze. This is a new comp and I really don't want to see it compromised (talk about your paranoid). I couldn't see that first link you put up as the page was gone. But the second one?

That guy is absolutely right. And you know why? Because fame doesn't mean anything anymore. There's nothing special about it. When Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian can become famous for nothing, then what does fame mean? Although at least they are somewhat showbiz connected because of reality tv. And then you've got your Octomom. What the hell did she do? She had eight kids and did it 'cause she was looking for fame. Or these bimbos that have screwed Tiger Woods or Sandra Bullock's husband? Why are they getting famous? Because of the...ta da...
INTERNET!!! This beast needs to fed 24/7 and the public is HUNGRY!!!

As for movie stars...
No. We do not have the kinds of stars that we had before. In the past, if you were an Audrey Hepburn or Gene Kelly fan, you went to see ALL of their movies. Now? The majority of the public (except for the rabid fan base of any one particular actor), don't follow movie stars. They go to see movies with a genre or subject matter that interests them and they don't give a damn who is starring in them. Also...

We build stars up too soon. One hit movie and they're the next big thing and then their subsequent films don't perform and Hollywood hollars...NEXT! With the information coming and going so fast, actors aren't being given the time to build their careers or their audience. So how do they stay famous? With their personal lives. Dating, living with, having children with and marrying and divorcing other famous people. It keeps them in the news even when they're films aren't performing.

Which brings us to Rob (well. it brings me to Rob...everything usually does. lol). Just because Hollywood thinks he's the next great star, doesn't mean that he is. He's been given a great jumping off platform with Twilight, but if some of his subsequent films do not perform? Then all of this will die down and he'll just be another actor. Oh, he'll never fall back into obscurity again because he's just become too famous. But Rob has an uphill climb here.

Think I'm gonna need another post here as I'm gonna run out of character space...

solas said...

Thanks Nikola-- and Ap had a more efficient link, just watch the video about Ulmer's lists of actors, etc. To me, it is not derailing the blog to dscuss Rob and his situation, fame, etc, especially since this thread has implications about that, but apparently some disagree. I really am sorry that email won't work for you as I really want to understand and know (in general, but specifically right now this aspect for ROb) but don't want to be accused of hijacking, derailing, or, heaven forbid, being serious. perhaps you can go to the thread about Rob 'being out and about', since many consdier it dead. It still has a heartbeat, so we can revive it.

Monique said...

It's always nice to see Robert doing something apart from filming. A quite afternoon of fun.. meeting ppl and all. I like the casual quite look.

@Nik... it's nice to see you... you've been missed... by me.

nikola6 said...

Nah Solas. This thread is good enough. Like I said, don't want to read it? Then scroll on by.

And I've had to step away for a bit. RL calling. My Aunt Rosa wants her supper and a walk around the block and she don't give a good gosh damn about Rob Pattinson and Twilight. LOL! She's 83 years old and fiesty as hell. I adore her (I have showed her his picture on the comp though and she thinks he's "very handsome." She thinks he needs a haircut -lol- but "very handsome".)

And I'll get back to Rob, but I just wanted to say this one thing about the internet and movies...

The internet is destroying the movie making and movie going process. Were not suppose to be getting all of this information (leaked scripts, still photots, video clips, etc.) and then having the public weigh in with opinions and judgements before the final product is ready for public consumption. All of this information is ruining the magic of movies as were not suppose to know all of the ins and outs and behind the scenes secrets of it all. The technology is stealing the experience of movies from the public and the public doesn't even realize it's happening. They think they're getting more, when in fact...they're getting less.

Just an opinion. I'll be back in a bit and finish my comment on Rob and fame and...blah, blah, blah.

nikola6 said...

Oh. And Hollywood is shooting itself in the foot by leaking more to the public. They're doing it in order to MARKET their products to an audience that now lives on the internet. But in the process, they're destroying the magic of it all. It's commerce over art.

And by the time they realize this (and alot already have), it'll be too late. This train has left the station and it ain't coming back.

Anonymous said...

nikola6 thank you for your insite....i always enjoy reading you point of view...very intelligent and intriguing comments you ALWAYS have...

nikola6 said...

Sorry. Another thought just occured...

With all of this leaked information, the audience are getting their expectations shot through the roof. And then when those expectations are not met? Disappointment.

This is why I think the true future of cinema, not the movie business, but the art of film, is in the independents. Those films made away from the Hollywoood money making and promotional machines.

And this is where I think the bulk of Robert Pattinson's future in this business lies.

Coming Aunt Rosa...

solas said...

nikola--thank you thank you thankyou!!! I am so glad you brought this up! I love learning so much from yourself and AP, but I was afraid a part of me would feel more detached from the movie experience knowing more about it, less able to enjoy it. When i was little and watched movies with my father, and was concerned about the horses being shot in a western (they didn;t do anythng!) my fatehr would say, it is just rcik photography-== they make thngs seem like real but it is not, and he told me about fake blood, etc. It changed my experience for a while; I felt I was not in the movie as I used to be. Now I am back to being n the movie when I watch one -- just watched Prate Radio and jumped and freaked out when the ship engine blew, as if i were on the boat. I LOVE that kind of experience (but people don't like going to the movies with me). Anyway, Sometimes i am afraid the more I know about moviemaking, the less I will have that experience of being IN the movie, the way I am IN a fiction book when I read it. I am torn--i want to understand, especially about Rob because I find him so dear and talented, and I champion his growth and his privacy, but I don't want to detract from my movie watching experience. Actually this is one of the reasons I admire the actors that I do (Rob, daniel dayLewis, etc)-- they look different in each role, they take on the persona of the character so much so that I am not thinking--oh, that's Rob playng Edward, or that's Rob playng Tyler, but rather, There's Edward; there's Tyler.

solas said...

But I thin some of the pundits have it wrong about movie goers; i think having dvds available so soon, netflix, etc, might make viewing in theatres go down, but we still are watching. On the other hand, I think the mentality of immediate reinforcement, numbing of senses, and lack of thorough education, leaves audiences needing sensory stimulation (Oh no--psych stuff again-shame on me!) so the special effects, noise, etc, even though poorly scrpted and poorly acted, are the fare in demand.

solas said...

I agree about the independents being the future of the art, and it appears, although i do not know his mind, that Rob also sees that. At least I recall reading that he was lookng for the smaller indies, but I do not know if he meant only until he honed his craft, or if that is the way he wants to go. I think the latter.

lallieb said...

@Fran, forgot to mention that this Blog is about Robert Pattinson and it seems that RTP happens to really like if not love and know Kristen, way beyond you or anyone else does, so we respect that. If she makes him happy, we're happy. Simple as that.

Lallieb - it's funny that you wrote that to fran because on the other thread you wrote...

"I said it previously: Don't like a comment, then skip it, it's not YOUR BLOG. "

Why can we not have short and to the point comments, keping on the subject, not a mile long synopsis of everything but the subject at hand. Gives me a major headache. Sorry, but it does.

Because we are not all linear in thought processes? Because is so interesting that any one subject can be a springboard for so much else>?

sorry--I meant- becasue ROB is so interesting that any one subject can be a springboard for so much else.

I responded over on that monster thread, although, I don't even know what I said. And I was gonna say more here tonight about Rob and his fame and stardom, but...I've kinda lost my stomach for it tonight.

I don't know what's gonna happen to him. With the ways things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in a monastary.

Night guys.

Nik--what do you mean by 'the way things are going' and 'end up in a monastery'? You can NOT just say such loaded things and then leave us!
