Wow, it's amazing how Oprah completely embarrasses Kris and divinizes Rob. As a fan of Rob it's a great interview, but as a fan of Kristen, not so much. Bringing up her shyness was so unnecessary, especially considering all three of them seem to have that a bit. She just doesn't always hide it as well.
Anyway, I loved how Rob's cracking up at him being more influential than Obama. That made me laugh as well, pretty ridiculous. Not to me, of course, but to the world.. yes.
Rob is hilarious, you can see he feels a bit more relaxed and he's just so FUNNY! honestly, it's unbelievable how much i can laugh when watching interviews of him!
And what i like the most is that he stays so true to himself, the craziness around twilight doesn't affect his true self, and that's something to be proud of, to don't get yourself caught up with fiction.
OMG where is the rest?? THANKYOU!! Some big FBI sweep for terrorists happened near here and they have been blathering about it all day on ABC!! I probably won't get to see this because they are rehashing to death. UGH!! I stayed home from work just to see it. WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Wow this is amazing. Rob is sooooo confident - I think he really comfortable with Kristen and Taylor and he certainly get's on with Oprah.
It's a slightly different cut to previous video that we had before. It's rare to see him in real life looking at Kristen like that - so sweet!
LOL-ed all the way through Rob's bits - NATCHOS! And his laughs after he says: "Definitely Beautiful!" and "Above Obamsa" is are the best!!

I love how Oprah tries to get them to say they made out. Kristen tries to keep it clinically business, but Rob ruins it by saying "that wasn't in the script... they didn't prepare us for that" but Kristen interrupts with we HAD to kiss. Poor Rob... he just wants to plant his flag so badly (twss) and stake his claim, but she wont have it.

The holy trinity did not disappoint. I am very proud of them for putting themselves through this. Even though I shouldn't care, I feel like I have a better understanding of them as people and totally get why Rob and Kristen only have eyes for each other.
I love how grounded Taylor is and hope he gets a chance to experiment and make some mistakes...albeit not huge ones. I would be worried about him if he never had a chance to find out who he really is besides being the abstastic Taylor Lawtnah.
I am Rob-filled.(twss) It feels good.

OMG! It was so great to watch this in HD this morning (it comes on at 9AM in Chicago)...all of you will enjoy it so much. Rob's expressions and his laugh just make me smile and I loved how he was mostly comfortable. There's a part where Dakota says something that makes him turn bright red...won't spoil it for you.

i dont think oprah was doing it to be mean. i think she was just trying to let others take into consideration why she behaves that way. i just wish kristen would have had a straight forward answer like "crowds scare me" or something. talking in circles about nothing didnt help her case much. i feel bad. you would think that after 2 yrs she would get used to it by now.

This show was great. To see how the three of them get on so well is cool. Oprah was fantastic. Teasing Rob, making Taylor blush and being so nice with Kristen who was so nervous...

absolutely loved the show , thanks for putting it here,Oprah makes coffee nervous,only way to relax for interviewees is maybe after a stronger drink.She just brought these youngsters is to be part of the hype , to draw a younger audience.nuff' about Oprah, Kristen is a good actress that does not necessarily mean she is good at been interogetted, what can be said about the phenomena himself,no words , be it Oprah or may be Larry king no one can make him sweat ( I could be wrong).

All three were just amazing ! BUt, Rob especially.... He really is unique
I don´t know, I have an impression that he is getting tired of the sharade, avoiding direct questions and stuff... I mean, he doesn´t want to make fuss about it, but neither does he want to be forced to keep quiet....
Most of the enterview was fun, entertaining and good-natured. Rob and Taylor were great sports. I loved the segment stressing the importance of the books over the movies and talking favorite reads with R and K. And Rob gave her Carson McCullers,.. he's such a thoughtful, sensitive soul!
All three of the stars were a bit subdued on the set, and Oprah let the boys quietly reflect on Twilight and their career. But I agree with the ladies who found her unnecessarily maternalistic (condescending?) toward Kristen. K was smiling and joking and handling herself well, and Oprah needed to stop the show to hug her? Then O kept repeating the fact that K is shy, instead of keeping the interview rolling along well? And she found Kristen too fragile to even address the dating question directly to her?
Oprah, since when do you disempower women like that? The mama bear act was disappointing... Fierce women should bolster each other. Oprah needs a lesson from the NBs around here!
But back to Rob: how happy and handsome did he look?!?! And so darn cute and embarassed when that girl cuddled with E's image on her bed!! Thank God he draws a healthy line between himself and Edward... Of course all the ladies here know that the Sparkly One is nothing alongside the real life Robert Thomas!

Rob was actually pretty fiesty throughout. Love how he jumped in and answered O's question to Taylor if it was true he'd never smoke or drank, with a resounding "no!" Taylor in the meantime kept up the charade.... something Rob could never do and why we love him so.
i know u all want to believe oprah hates k stew, but there is one part that shows me otherwise. When Kristen gives the girl from the caribbean her ring, oprah sort of looks on with pride. so yes oprah is patronizing in her own way. she does it to a lot of stars. maybe she really didnt get a kick out of kstew, but it didnt come across as nasty. i just think oprah was trying to focus more on rob and taylor seeing as it was a female audience. i dont really like oprah too much but i think she was just trying to present the show the way team edwrad or jaob fans would want to see. just a little thought

What lovely kids Rob, Kristen, Taylor (and Dakota) are - Kristen looked a little nervous, demonstrated by her constant leg swinging, but I guess Oprah is a little scary! Rob and Taylor looked at ease - Rob is just so adorable these days, he looks so happy and confident ... I love him to bits.
That clip of Eclipse where Jake and Edward are arguing over Bella - now that is awesome! I've never seen Rob play such an angry Edward - hey very sexy!

This is the first time I've posted a comment. Anyway, did you guys notice that when Kristen is talking, they always focus the camera on Rob's face but never on Taylor's. Also on part 2 of the Oprah interview where Rob said that Kristen was pregnant. Kristen said "we've actually had this con...can you imagine a baby...". Was that a slip that she and Rob have previous conversations about having a baby?!?

These three have definitely arrived. Getting a whole hour on Oprah. Wow, this was great. All three are gorgeous and Rob, what can I say about Rob that I haven't already said a million times, just love the guy. The very last clip about the kiss......so good. Will June 30th ever get here!!!
Ok, loved the clips and all, but I'm not liking the clip featuring the Edward/Jacob fight...I was so looking forward to the cool, below the surface simmering Edward, winking at Bella and letting Jacob know in no uncertain terms that "if he ever brought Bella back injured...he would break his jaw for her."
Instead, we get Charlie coming between two hot heads...does Charlie notice that Edward is hard as stone, and cold to the touch when he stops the fight?
*giggle, said the word "hard referring to Edward" giggle*
Anyway, loved Kristen in this interview...she was cute, very responsive to Rob and really seemed to relish her time with him and Taylor. Also, delighted with the young girl in the end coming from the Bahamas to see Kristen...what a treat for her! :-)
Adored the Rob and Taylor surprises, and always found Alex Wentworth entertaining...she was adorable when she said "Kristen, I'd have taken the bite right away!"...priceless!
Loisada...I'm having a hard time figuring out what Oprah was doing with Kristen. She definitely gave the boys more time and questions, female audience aside.
Maybe her hug and bringing up the shyness of Kristen's was designed to make her less nervous. I don't know. But Kristen is so good in these movies that for Oprah not to address this is neglectful. I felt like Kristen, the centre of the saga, felt like she was being overlooked, in favour of these two hunky guys. I think the big O. could have thought up one good question to lob at Kristen, one not designed to make her more nervous.
Yeah, Oprah seemed really into Rob and had him sitting next to her, so she could inhale the magic.
But the thing with Kristen. She's had some great cover shoots too but all Oprah showed were Rob's People and Time stuff and Taylor's beefcake photos. While I like me as much Rob as possible, I think, as you say, Loisada, that O. should have granted KS more time and respect. I think sometimes, when these shows happen, that Kristen wonders what the hell she's doing there if the host addresses the boys so much more than her.
Sorry, after reading more comments from you ladies, I totally agree that Oprah just made matters worse when she hugged Kristen like she was a little kid. I think that made Kristen stamer worse. Kristen isn't shy, she just does not have the speaking voice that Rob and Tay do. I think she is getting better and she is frapping beautiful, and you know how I feel about Rob, no words necessary there.

while i do agree with you that it is unfair to kristen, but what is oprah supposed to put on? sexy photos of kristen to a predominantly female audience? sorry, but i dont care about seeing kristen in scantily clads and i dont think a female audience would care too much either. i watched to see rob, not her. i am sure twilight fans watched to see rob or taylor too, but even the marketing behind these movies has always had the focus on the men. the show was geared toward a female audience. no offense, but ppl were screaming for jacob and edward. i'm not saying this because i dislike kristen. i am saying this because twilights main focus is on those two men. oprah knows this so she bids her time wisely. do i think it is fair? absolutely not kristen is just as much in this as the rest of them. had this been a male talk show (like is maxim had a talk show and hosted the cast) the i feel like the focus would be on the female to draw the male viewers in.
it was all about pulling in rating for her target audience.

the 15 years old is very cute, and she CONFIRMS what i've been saying here since NM was released: the character of Bella is a young female model to the teenagers, and i think that's very bad (actually i said Bella is the worst young female model and some people told me they didn't think she was a model...now you can she, there are young girls who take her as a model)

The Oprah show was Awesome!! I think I just fell in love with Rob all over again....ans I absofuckinglutely LOVE his wonky,pigeon-toed feet!!! He's so adorkable. Everytime I see Kristen in an interview, I like her a little bit more. And Taylor was so cute, as usual. LOVED it!!!!
No Fae he could not! And I loved the way Rob couldn't resist teasing Taylor knowing that he would blush LOL Loved Rob going around to the houses and the way he reacted to the house that had the dog, my dog would jump at him (she loves him too LOL) When she heard the barking she got up to look at the screen and she couldn't make sense of Rob barking.
I thought Kristen was a lot more relaxed than i've seen her before, I can understand the way she feels about being nervous and being afraid of having so many eyes on her and saying something wrong, I think I would feel the same if I was put in her position.

I agree with the posters who said Oprah was a little condescending to Kristen. I mean she pointed out that Kristen is shy but did nothing to make her feel more comfortable. I think Kristen does better when she's not being interviewed with Rob or Taylor. C'mon, anyone looks bad compared to Rob!
I saw the second showing of Oprah here in N.Y. we can see it at 4pm but i was out so I caught the 7pm showing. I actually thought Oprah did a good job of giving each a moment. Unlike other interviews I've seen she didnt ignore Taylor. She gave them all ample time to speak and had questions for all. I felt that she noticed Kristen's nervousness abd did not drill her to make her even more uncomfortable. She also gave each a time with their fansrob with the 3 houses . Taylor with he sorority and kris with the fan who flew from the Caribbean. She also gave Dakota Fanning ample time. Her interview was fair unbias and I walked away thinking she took a special liking to Taylor because she found him cute but also to Rob which showed that despite his own shyness he can put on the charm and become Mr. Personality. I also really enjoyed the last clip she showed.

What a GREAT show. I thought everyone did as best as can be expected of them in that environment. Rob was positively effervescent, Taylor was polished, Kristen doesn't enjoy these things, but I don't feel Oprah gave her a hard time..in fact, I think she helped her out by changing the subject in Prt. 1.
I love the personal visits from Rob and Taylor. Even though they were only able to spend a short time with each group, it's something these people will never forget... They'll be fans for life. I made me emotional to watch it.
I had a few 'OH NO' moments as well. TwiMom's.. Just wow.
I just finished watching part 5.
I had tears in my eyes when the fan who flew all the way from the Caribbean was invited up on stage to interact with Kristen. It was incredibly moving..
Another fan for life right there.
Appreciate Oprah giving Kristen a hug in the middle of the show ~ to ease her nervousness and to settle her nerves. She looks beautiful plus Rob beside her makes a great twosome.

I just watched the whole show (DVR), I liked it, but was not overwhelmed. Rob was great, he has such a great sense of humor and can't hold himself back from blurting out a humorous comeback that pops into his head, whether appropriate or not. Love him for that, it's who he is. Kristen is much more contained/self-conscious and I think this is where they complement each other. She is capable of the witty comeback as well when she's in her comfort zone. As for the criticism of O's treatment of K., I truly think she meant well and wanted to put her at ease. I think she would have asked more of K. but didn't want to make her nervous and let's face it, she's a terrible interview, and O didn't want her to sputter, stammer, and come up with incomprehensible responses. I think she was being a Mother Hen and did not want her to embarrass herself. Although she could have shown some of K's awesomely beautiful photo shots to shine a light on her, including the recent Elle cover, as she did for Rob being on those lists. Lest we forget, this was all about the Twi Saga, Eclipse, and whose story is this: Bella's. So, yuh, the boys are the magnets for the fans, but Bella is the central character. I think she gave credit to K/B by having the young Caribbean fan girl there. She made a real effort to make it well rounded for all the stars and their characters. Despite the fact, all our eyes were on "the pretty", but you know when I see that real guy, Rob and hear his voice being himself (as much as he reveals), I experience a shift in my mind. Is this the same person we're all obsessing about and lusting over?? Well, he is, but the reality of him, makes me love and care for him more than ever, but objectifying him? Naw.

Jesse: Agree, she could have mentioned the Bafta or numerous other accolades Kristen has racked up, which are a big deal....
because even if the Twi audience is mainly women fangirling over 2 hot guys, Bella/Kristen is also a female role model who's important to many girls, so K's achievements would seem a natural mention.
Dina,Kelly L, Jane, Jmm, Jesse, Steph: Dina: I've decided Dina's probably right, the point may well have been well taken. Despite the overall tone and omissions, O's summary of Kristen was "so sweet." I have seen tons of comments since, on blogs and twitter, where people who didn't like her before are now calling her endearing, nice, awkwardly great, sweet, etc. So this appearance seems to have done K's image a world of good. There may have been some method to O's madness there. The power of O is great!
Just finished watching the show. It's was pretty good, but I actually wish she had spent less time on things like home visits & more on talking to them, & did she really have to ask Taylor about bulking up? How many times does that poor boy have to talk about beef patties?
Well, I personally think Oprah was great, and it was a great show. I enjoyed watching it very much, and will continue to watch the clips. I haven't watched Oprah in a very long time, but it seems to me, she's chilling out here lately. Or maybe, she was just very respectful of the young people on her show today. At least that's what it seemed like to me. She didn't do the Oprah hair flip at the monitor though, shame.

@Marna, I know, same questions and answers we've heard already. Made them sound so rehearsed as they had already talked about this on JK show, and Rob just regurgitating stuff (verbatim) he's said before. That was the most disappointing part of it.

haha not at all. i dont like her and probably never will, but im actively trying to judge her realistically and fairly and try to remain unbiased. doesnt mean i will all the time, but im working on it. i WILL defend her when someone is being out of line, but im not going to be throwing compliments her way either.

Oh yeah, I know I sound so critical but couldn't Oprah have done her homework? Everybody knows that Rob wanted to be a rapper when he was an adolescent (he figured he wasn't dangerous looking enough to pull it off). She looked at him so incredulously it was insulting, then said she wished she would have had his rap tapes. It makes me shudder to think what she would have done with them...brrr.

What's with all these famous interviewers??? None of them seem to respect their interviewees enough to do minimal homework about them. Oprah has a whole staff to do that! Surely she could have found one Robsessor amongst them to give her the low-down.

@Jesse, yes, wouldn't it be great if those people she hired really did the homework and actually looked at the many other interviews (easily accessible on YouTube, I presume) so she wouldn't be repeating the same questions (and she had many) and just might want to come up with something more original. Shouldn't take a rocket scientist.

Look, I have described her as a "hard pill to swallow" and I stand by it, she is. I just cut her A LOT of slack, mainly because of Rob, but I just tend to empathize with the spotlight on her and her ability, or lack thereof, in dealing with it.

As for the twimom stuff-- I think Opra was exploring this phenomeon as a phenomenon, and wanted to give her viewing audiences snippets of the excess and motivations.
It got me thinking about the phenomenon, and I have come up with this: I was trying to picture all of this going on with any of the other actors Stephanie or fans of her books wanted instead of Rob, and altough some might have been ok for the part, I don't think the movies, the franchise, would have taken off as it did, and therefore the books, although popular, would not have sold as much as they did (so much more after the first movie was out). And I think it is not just that Rob is beautiful, not just the chemistry between Rob and Kristen, but that Rob, through the charm and genuineness and non-hollywooditis his interviews show, made the character and the lovestory and the ideas of love accessible. His being so real made it all seem in reach for so many, and I don't think it would have been so with any other actor.

I have a feeling there was more with Kristen, but Kristen is more guarded, she's not as good an interview as say, Rob who is a goofball. So, I bet some of her segments simply got edited.
And let's face it, it's Rob's franchise really. Taylor took backseat to Rob too, minus showing his ab shots.
Oprah I think with Kristen was actually doing what Opie does-if she wants to make a point, she emphasizes it over and over again. She's like a hynotist with her audience: "Kristen is just shy.........shy....shy...." lol

Kristen said that she "gets really nervous" I think Oprah was trying to make her feel at ease. For me she always have that FU and stay away from me look on her face, which is why I was like ok. I'll stay away then. I saw her in Regis and Kelly. It was a bizare interview. She had a really hard time expressing what it is she really wanted to say and they sort of had to bring it out of her. Maybe she was nervous then too. Kind of the same way she was on Oprah today. Except today she actually looked truly happy and joking. In Regis and Kelly she barely cracked a smile. Today I was kind of warming up to her especially when she offered that girl the ring.
