Go Team RobKowski!

I don't mean to sound like a hypocrite, but these pics are obviously from a helicopter and I sure hope this doesn't continue and interfere with filming. I'm sure it takes a lot of time to edit out (or re-record the dialogue) to get rid of helicopter noise.

So many mixed emotions...

Oh please, why does he ALWAYS have to look so hot!! I can't cope.
Yay, just did a lap of honour round the house. Stayed up nearly all night trying to get early showing tickets for Eclipse in the U.K just got them and had to tell somebody. Soooo excited I am shaking. Thanks to you on Robsessed for the link. forever grateful!

And here we go again with the stalking photos *shudders*

Rob with Rease feels a little incestuas because of Vanity Fair haha!

Gozde said...

If these were personalpictures of Rob taken from a helicopter we wouldn't post them.

They are filming in LA. They knew there would be tons of paparazzi. Did they take a "risk" or was it a calculated "publicity" plot? I vote for publicity.

It's a pitty there isn't a law passed alowering film directors to fire a gun at hovering helicopter. lmao

Angie you took the words right out of my mouth...

I loved the photos from yesterday, but these shotsvftom the air? Nope.... Helicopters are loud and can interfere with scenes...

Just my opinion, bot hope this does not continue..
Just hide in the bushes & keep quiet!

gracefulgrace said...

@ Tess
I have it. I'll send it to you now. ;)

Gemgirl65 said...

Goz, I hope you are right. Because my first thought when I saw the aerial shots was, that's about 10 steps over the line of decency.

In the shot of Reese smiling up at the helicopter, I imagine her saying, "Look Rob...they found you!" :p

Gozde said...

I am pretty sure I'm right. Remember Eclipse.... We rarely got ANY pix from set. They CAN control the papz when it comes to filming locations.

Oh and believe me Reese pix sell quite well without Rob :)

Gozde said...

okay gotta get back to work :)

Later y'all...

angie-k said...

Thank you Gozde. I completely understand and agree. I just don't want anything to interfere with the filming. I know this happens all the time in Hollywood, but I feel very protective of Robkowski. :o)

LOL! @RPG... "Just hide in the bushes & keep quiet!"

Gemgirl65 said...

haha Goz, very true! For all we know, the helicopter was there for Reese. She didn't seem too perturbed by it, for some reason!

woah i can't wait to see him perform next to christoph waltz, who did an extraordinary job in inglorious besterds. this gotta be good!! :D

Ana73 said...

They got alot in on Day 1, does anyone know how long this will be filming??? Also, is their a release date set for it???

regarding the helicopters, they had to have known with all of the hype around NY and turkey when he filmed the other movies and the fans and pappz showed up and all of the twilight hype. so maybe after the first day, they will change things or if they want the publicity the wont change anything...

angie-k said...

@Ana - Budapest is in Hungary

If this Eeagle Eye now always flies over the film- set, I think it's not so good. They better do it not every day.

That helicopter is WAY up there. As someone else said around here, they have uber-powerful camera lens. Sheesh, I'm in a Gawd Damn chicken house. *rolls-eyes* cluck-cluck

First I must say I don't know how many more pics I can take! lol, Robert is just adorably sexy in these. And now we have a picture of Reese as Marlena, pretty and cute!

I'm a little surprised because I thought Marlena was a brunette, if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, Jacob will fall in love with the person of Marlena, so whether blond or brunette is of no consequence to that.

I'm loving all those Robert pics! I just can't wait for this movie!

I didn't know that AP. That's interesting. Thanks!

I can see both sides of the issue. Yes, they knew they would have pictures taken but IMO, these are crossing the line. I only looked at the two big ones that are posted and my first thought was, whoa, stalker much? I'll just pass these by in the future.

My second thought was what Rob must think about all this. I mean, he's got to be wondering if it's going to be like this on every job he does for the rest of his career. Are people ever going to NOT take set pictures of him?

Just my two cents. That being said, rugged, dirty, Rob is hot.

Cheeky Chops said...

Mmmmm love me some Robert Downey JR. I'm beginning to see a pattern here....

Robert Pattinson
Robbie Williams
Ryan Reynolds
Robert Downey

ya think?

ROBsessed89_MIAwithROB said...

OK of course ROB is super HOT

but they should let the man do his job because if they keep stalking him like this directors are gonna start thinking about hiring him (NOT THAT THAT WILL EVER BE A MISTAKE) but im sure they don't want all this commotion around the set all the time....

FILTM :p

Loisada said...

I feel very mixed about this too.

But Gozde, to be precise: this is not LA. It's a farming community that has only one main road passing through the region, and everyone who lives there has to take it. The set is visible from that road. There's simply no way to hide the set at the end of a blocked back road, as was the case for Eclipse.

They choose it because of the already existing railway line that isn't traveled daily by Amtrak, and the wide open land around it. It's a perfect place for a railroad circus, and a horrible place to keep the papparazzi out.

Buzzing over the set in helicopters is too much for me. It's not only distracting for the production, it's dangerous for everyone involved.

I love to see Rob in action as much as anyone. In fact this area is my backyard, and I have to drive right by the set on Saturday and yes, I'm tempted to stop and take a gander. But right now I'm feeling like I'm part of the problem.... a growing problem.

So as Angie says, I'm starting to feel like a hypocrite. I want to see Rob, and I want him to be left alone so he can work.... I do not want him to go Dietrich on us, or have directors and actors shun him because he brings too much chaos to the set.

Maybe it's time for us to step back a bit, and take a break? There's no easy answer here....

angie-k said...

I know this doesn't happen to just Rob.

Movie sets & even weddings & other personal events are stalked by paps in helicopters all over the place (esp in the Hollywood/LA & surrounding areas).

If these pics weren't here, no, I wouldn't be commenting on them, because they wouldn't be here.

@Losiada - I used to live near Camarillo which isn't very far from Filmore & Santa Paula. We took our kids to the Filmore railroad on a field trip from their school. I know it would be very hard for me to resist stalking the set if I still lived there. I think it can be done respectfully & unobtrusively like the ladies in Budapest...

solas said...

I am not sure about 'easy' but I think this might be easiER: accept that people want to see photos of Rob, and arrange a time period where people can take photos of himself (and cast if they allow)in costume, or doing simple things (like leading the horse), and then anyone who bothers before or after that will be subject to some penatly (I call what they do 'theft', since they are stealing time and sanity from the actors and director, and outside scenes have to be dubbed (is that the word?)which means more time and money, but as I am not an attorney I don't know how that will hold, so they have to get their attorneys to figure out a real penalty). It would be further reinforcing the good behaviour if, at the end of the day if there wre no intrusions, Rob would give a few minutes to thank folks for the quiet, as he did in BudaPest, possibly sign autographs, and possibly pose for a few photos--and if he/they WERE disturbed/distracted, give them nothing (except possbly trouble if it can be arranged legally).

solas said...

Another real consideration for legal ramificatons is the possibility of the animals being spooked by helicopters overhead. This could cause not only harm to the animals, loss of m oney to the production, but way more importantly, could G-d forbid endanger everyone on the ground. Surely someone ought to be able to come up wth some kind of legal way to prohibit the attacks by air.

Loisada said...

It doesn't help to know these shots were taken by X17, the skeeziest agency in town. THey're the ones who hounded Rob at LAX last year about who he was "sleeping with," though they don't always put it that nicely. They constantly make crude sexual remarks and try to get a rise out of both Rob and Kristen. They are on the very bottom of the evolutionary scale, right alongside blood-sucking leeches!

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

Loisada,
So true!! I thought they were the same ones that asked those disgusting questions at LAX...

The are blood sucking leeches....

sarsaparilla said...

Thanks for the clarification Gozde, shots taken by the studio rather, encouraged by the studio would be better then some paparazzi's risking his own life and the lives people movie shooting and doing days hard work , working esp with animals who are sensitive to noise and mob in general.I would personally like to see the finished product on the screen, then work in progress , with awkward moments on part of the artist , but then that is my personal opinion.

Thanks.

Gemgirl65 said...

Great comments here. Loisada, I know what you mean...if I were in your shoes, I would wonder what to do, too! Frankly I don't think I'd be able to stay way if Rob were filming that close to me. Perhaps it's a matter of degrees. I few fans and paps lurking in the bushes far outside the fenced-off area, trying to be inobtrusive, aren't anywhere near as invasive and over-the-top as helicopter fly-bys! And yet the cause of it all remains the same...fans wanting to get a glimpse of Rob, and the paps feeding into that to make a quick buck. So I can understand your dilemma.

Solas, props to you for trying to come up with a solution. It's tough---as long as the demand for Rob pics is there, then paps will try their best to supply them. I don't know if giving them a special time to do it will work...I sometimes feel like they live to get the "forbidden" shot, so photo ops allowed by the production company aren't near as enticing to them.

On some level, an industry like film-making, which requires public interest and support to thrive, is to expect this kind of intrusion. But when it becomes threatening to the cast (and that includes the animals) and crew, or the integrity of the final project, then there needs to be some kind of line in the sand. I don't know what kind of stalking laws California has in place, but maybe they need to re-address this kind of situation with helicopter fly-overs. I don't know anyone who would truly condone that.

Aaaannnd Imma shut up now because I don't have any answers! And I looked at and enjoyed the pics those X17 bastards procured. *sigh*

Loisada said...

Yes RPG: I don't know why we dress up this "profession" with a fancy Italian name. They're simply bottom feeders. Or as Rob so quaintly put it: "They're @ssholes!" And I think he's in a better position to judge than any of us.

Leann: I'm still torn. And I probably won't decide anything until I'm driving by the set, and see where my heart and good sense (?) take me. To stop, or not to stop. That is the question....

On a brighter note: while Reese has a touch of diva in her, she's a great lady who's very welcoming and nice to fans who run across her and her kids here in the area. Very mom oriented. She knows what it's like to be hounded, after all the hullabaloo with Jake. I don't think she's going to hold this chaos against Rob..... if it doesn't get any worse.

My biggest worry is having the animals spooked, causing havoc on the set. There may be laws that could prohibit fly-overs for that reason alone...

Angie: it's a lovely area, isn't it? My nephews are wild about the railroad line. Nice to have a living relic like this still around.

I am more than willing to give up looking at daily photos of this or any movie he's making in order to deter the papps from doing this, and therefore keeping him safer.
How do these photos get on here? It's so scary to think of the life he has to live because of these camera-wielding, privacy- invading morons who only care about getting the "money shot" and not about the possible consequences (Think Princess Diana !) Oooommmmgggg...
He's already been swiped by a Taxi in NYC getting away from screaming fans while filming RM!
What next? Crushed by an elephant on a rampage from fear? Horses and elephants are very sensitive and scare so easily... Let's just pray that he's being kept safe by those around him with a vested interest in his safety. After all, it all comes down to money doesn't it?
Luckily, We've got lots of beautiful & interesting pictures of him to look at that do not cost blood money.
Enough with the helicopters, and craziness.

jmm4832 said...

I too am willing to give up viewing the daily photos of Rob. I can only imagine the disturbance caused by these helicopters. Why aren't there any laws about this? If I was the director I would be majorly pissed.

Rob, I know you're filming WFE in LA, but you need to get outta LA ASAP afterward!

lemonie said...

Loisada and Bellemaria - ITA - I worked in the TV industry in the UK and there is nothing worse than helicopters or planes when you're filming - As if both actors haven't got enough to put up with - look at the number of crew around the - 2 x camera ops, focus pullers, booms ops, sound recordists, script supervisor, animal wranglers etc.... etc..... Must be hard to be focused on what you're doing with all that around you plus the constant buzz of choppers...... And again - so easy to spook horses....... If it were me I would drive on by the set - yeah I would be dying to see Rob as much as the next fan - but this must make filming a pretty miserable experience - and it should be fun!! Of course he expects it, but wouldn't it be nice if the fans (and paps - but there is no hope there) were as gracious towards Rob as he is towards them - I,ve never heard of him losing it with anyone and he has ever right, if it screws up the shoot! (a la RM). Just give him some space guys - and then we will all be rewarded with a great movie and sane Rob - who hasn't become either a drunk, recluse or crackhead - we all know what the pressure of living in a goldfish bowl can do! Perhaps Robsessed should not post pap pics even if it looks like the studio has set it up? Just my opinion!

susana said...

so there is no laws against this 'pap' behavior???

it must be!
christ... remember Princess Diana!

AP said...

@Loisada: they have an italian name because Fellini coined it - and for more legitimate photogs, such as the red carpet coverage, than the ones that exist now....

Loisada said...

Thank you AP for reminding me of that. How could I have forgotten La Dolce Vita? Could you imagine Anita and Rob side by side in a movie? That would be beauty so breathtaking it would surely be fatal!!

I think a number of you have taken up the gaunlet Nik has thrown down, in a manner of speaking.
I have nothing to add that I haven't said before.
The situation, in general, has gotten out of hand.

Oh yes.

@Marilyn~ Your should really get the book and read it...it's very good. Giving a small explanation of the plot does not do it justice. You can also google it and get the plot... but it's a really good read...couldn't put it down

@AngelWings~ I do think Marlena is brunette, but then again Jacob is a redhead. Personally the hair color is a mute point...unless there is a specific reason that it needs to be a certain color. It ws barely mentioned in the book. I think they look great and I love Reeses look.

xoRobxo said...

@Marilyn~no Rob does not die in the movie..

Something seems strange here tonight, but I can't find the thread that explains this... what is the "gauntlet" about? And, what has gotten out of hand? Is there some kind of protocol we should be following here? If so, what is it?

Isn't this a place for all of our comments and opinions, or whatever? Are we doing something wrong here in putting forth our own points of view or personal comments?

TotallyRobbed said...

Reese looks very different in these pictures - but they are blurry.

She's a classic beauty - very similar to Grace Kelly.

TotallyRobbed said...

Belladonna ....

It's about the paparazzi. We view these pictures taken from helicopters, and while it feeds our interest, it disrupts filming and the paps makes the money. It's uncomfortable food for thought.

jmm4832 said...

Besides being incredibly disturbing to the actors and crew and in this case animals, these aerial views aren't even good.
