Lizzy Pattinson Talks About "The Fearless" Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson's sister tells Absolute Radio what her brother is afraid of. She reveals that Robert is fearless, and a 'ballsy' person, and says when she's singing on stage, she goes on with the 'Rob state of mind'. She was speaking backstage at the Isle of Wight Festival 2010, ahead of the release of the new 'Twilight' movie, 'Eclipse'.

Thanks to Laura and RobstenLovex for the tips and to Tess for not letting me post blind :)

can you imagine if Rob had to hold one of those microphones, there would be some major microphoneporn going on.

Luv to see her be a little reckless and go for it - so great she's doing regular gigs again, particularly this festival.

It seems to me he IS afraid of some things, (getting stabbed G-d forbid, run over, etc) but he pushed himself out there to face and run down his fears. But he IS 'ballsy' and possibly fearless in what she expressed, as far as he is not afraid to stand up and will go forward, defyng the establishment if he needs, certanly going against teh grain and expectations. I still remember one of the first things I read about him, that made me an impressed and devoted fan: he heard a 'comic' making fun of, or making a nasty comment (maybe innuendos about drugs and subsequent death?), about Heath Ledger, and Rob stood up in the crowd, in the middle of the comedian's performance, and called him down, and told him to leave Heath Ledger alone, etc.

Hmmm ballsy, I could see that. He did get into acting after all. I mean, I think some scenes would be easy. Making out or having a love scene with 30 crew members standing around. NOT SO MUCH.

She is very pretty.

off topic-- AP__ Atlast Shrugged j ust confirmed-- the rights would have been lost if filming ddn't start t his weekend, so it started! they are making it in parts! I cannot imagine it wil hold interest to anyone not interested in or impacted by the book at some time or other, unless the actors are really good and the script really spellbinding (hopefully wthout the 30 page Galt radio speech!)!
I would love to see the screenplays and how they divide it to make it really stand-alone movies!

AP- I just read the amazon blurb on the mprefectonists; doesn't sound like much of a role for the son. I might buy the book and see for myself.

Of course he is! Just look at him, he oozes testosterone. Cam Gigandet said he has a rock star quality, and I agree, you need to be ballsy to say the outrageous things Rob sometimes says. Other people in this business would be scared sh!tless to say sth like that, afraid to tarnish their image. He is quite complicated, I guess that makes him even more interesting.

Solas: Don't mean to mislead - the book is a series of vignettes based around a newspaper publishing house in Rome. Lloyd and Jerome's story is just the one of several, so if a role would be a cameo at best, I imagine. I just remembered the description when I read about the option - had forgotten it was so like. I enjoyed the book but don't buy if you just have Rob in mind.. Gotta run again... :)

I was very surprised that she described Rob as being fearless. How could that be? He's expressed his feelings of paranoia, inadequacy and self esteem, personal space issues, claustrophopia, body image, etc. But then I realized, she's right. Why would I/we know these things about him but for his fearlessness in revealing these things about himself. He doesn't think twice, he doesn't have an image he's trying to mold, he doesn't care, he says what comes to him in the moment, no matter the consequence. Yes, he is fearless and may he never, ever change. Thanks Lizzie.
