Thanks once again to our reader (and die-hard Premiere attendee) Lynne for sending her Rob experience.

I'm just back from my Rob roadtrip in Cannes, Lisbon and Paris and have had an awesome time!. I have loads to catch up on uploading videos and photos.

I saw Rob a few times at Le Grand Journal, Cannes Cosmopolis premiere, outside the aftershow party where all the paparazzi madness ensued and the masses of crowds gathered on La Croisette beach front road. It was so crazy in Cannes, how Rob and Kristen cope with it all I don't know, but Rob was smiling all the way to the car despite the cameras blinding him and crowds pushing in. If I'd known how crazy it would have gotten I would have stayed away but you only know these things in hindsight.

In Lisbon, I was able to get into the press conference earlier in the day and also on the crazy mad red carpet where I had the most wonderful experience as I was able to give to Rob a gift that our Facebook group ladies all contributed to which I must admit was rather expensive (but Rob is so worth it!) It was a First Edition (1983) copy of "Money" by Martin Amis which was signed by the author. Rob recognised me straight away as he's seen me a few times now and gave me a huge smile and he was so thrilled with the book it showed all over his face. He was amazed when I gave it to him, I can't remember his exact words because I was in such a excited state, but it was something like "oh wow, this is amazing". When I explained it was signed by Martin Amis, he looked me right in the face for what seemed like forever and said "Really? ... are you kidding me?... Wow!. Thank you soooo much" He had the most wonderful look on his face, he was truly grateful and genuinely overwhelmed by the gift. It was certainly a sight to behold and I think all the madness around me just faded out for that moment in time. You can see from the video below that I had some camera issues and was, to put it mildly, somewhat shakey and had my camera on the wrong setting to take a pic. However the very kind security guard could see my plight and took the camera and took a pic (which sadly didn't come out particularly brilliantly).

However, I have found a few other photos on the internet (pics are below) where "the moment" happened. Having eye to eye contact with Rob for around 30 seconds was the most awesome experience ever, I'm not sure how I survived to be honest and to know that he knew me straight away meant so much. I have added the links to some photos and a fan video where someone captured my "moment" with Rob. I'm still searching the net for a video of this taken from the other angle where you can see Rob's face so if anyone out there finds one, pllllleeeeeaaaase let me know! We then dashed into the theatre in Lisbon to see Rob and Cronenberg present the movie and I had a second row seat so saw him up close again. We then flew straight off to Paris and saw him at the screening and the red carpet there although I was pretty far back from the barriers as it was already crowded there when we arrived. The red carpet was way too short (only 20 metres) which is stupid for a Rob event.
