ah, that's right. thx!

LOL, I didn't hear anything about a vamp dance (what was it supposed to be?) but stupid Kellan Lutz gave an interview & said that there was a scene in the credits. I was expecting something like in part 1 so I stayed through every friggin' credit. I guess he meant the montage.

I just came back from the theater. The movie was amazing and specially my beloved Edward. I do not have words to describe it, beautifully done, his smile, the daddy moments, playing the piano, the kissing scenes, that man knows how to kiss and the last but not least the vampire sex no words for this part, you naughty boy. I loved everything on the movie. My daughter said that Edward looked like an angel specially when he smiled. I may get stone for this but I noticed that Rob got more screen time on this movie IMHO. Thanks Bill Condon. Ever since I read the books i fell in love with Edward and when I saw the movies, i fell in love with Rob. I am still in the unbelievable stage that I just watched the last movie of the saga perhaps it will get to me as time passes by, in the meantime just want to enjoy the last ride and what a ride with Rob and the entire cast.

Gozde said...

No but I know I accidentally put a period in between two words, ughghh shiz!! Thank you!

Gozde said...

and when Jasper's head went, my first thought wasn't poor Alice - it was OMG, Stacy must have freaked!

Gozde said...

Lmao we stayed too!! Then there was nothing, awww dang it!!

Gozde said...

not a spoiler but i just checked out the release date, at the moment it's not until march 2013. maybe i'll get it for my bday... hint hint to the hubby. actually the hubby laughed when jasper ran to alice after she dropped the vase. i was so annoyed with him. i asked him why he laughed: 'his character makes me laugh' all the time, every movie. ugh.

Gozde said...

Loved the vampire sex. It was done very pg13. My fav parts were their kissing. After hearing ROB talk in an interview about how his kissing was "noisy" with his lips. then when I saw the movie I just kept thinking and looking for that to happen. AND IT DID several times. It was great. I really enjoyed it the second time I saw it today. The vultori costumes were really amazing. They did such a awesome job with their capes and other pieces. Kristen wore some really nice pieces too. Balstaff I think for most of them.

Crying again through reading all these comments. Yours in particular. Just perfect. Thank you for sharing your words. He's really worth it.

Gozde said...

That perfect ditto. :)

Excellent jazz girl...I'm not coherent enough to write, but am enjoying reading and you nailed it. Everyone, including me was screaming at the screen...my daughter burst into full on sobbing....wow, what an experience! FANTASTIC Pattinson.

Gozde said...

that's wonderful, nana! would love to hear your premier stories too!

Saw it earlier tonight and it was just Epic! I loved it and can't wait to see it again- hopefully on Sunday. I wrote a big long post but hit the wrong button and lost the whole thing. So, try again: agree with all the comments about CGI baby, huge gasp when Carlisle's head came off and then again with Jasper, Seth, etc... was so relieved when the reveal that it was just a vision. Loved Charlie in this- not only the hilarious scene with Jacob but also the very touching
scene when he sees Bella for the first time. Billy Burke has done a
phenomenal job throughout the series but that may be his best moment
ever. loved that BC acknowledged the jawporn, but would have liked to have a 2nd love scene- one where they are desperate for each other because they know they will face the Volturi soon. Rob- loved every moment of Edward on screen. Jane getting her due was awesome (the whole theater cheered). I felt bad that some of the new vampires had no lines at all. Did Maggie and Liam say anything? With her gift for knowing the truth, Maggie had a bigger role in the book but she was basically just an extra in this. Michael Sheen was so over the top with his freaky/scary portrayal of Aro - that crazy laugh- but I thought it was great. I want to echo what someone else said that I was so glad there was no wolf mind talking in this one. It just didn't work in the first BD. Also, why has Esme's hair gotten so dark in the past few films. What happened to caramel colored? Damn, my head is filled with too much righ tnow. I really need to see it again to take it all in. It's 3 am.and I'm starting to ramble . Those 2 margaritas I had after the movie probably aren't helping. I'm putting on the 1st Twilight movie and going to sleep...

Gozde said...

I actually really enjoyed the movie, but my favorite part of my evening was doing the sloppy swish in the parking lot with a bunch of a closet cases lol & then then telling me "my shoe game was fierce"...whatever that means lol.

overall the movie was really good... i'm glad we finally have a fight scene because the book was so anticlimactic for me

As an older fan who rented Twilight one night due to no other movies being left in a video store 4 years ago, and then proceeding to watch it 5 times before I returned it and became hooked on the saga--BD2 was incredible!!! I saw New Moon before I had to buy and read the books as I just had to know what happened. I went to the Twilight Marathon Thursday with a very involved crowd (that actually did include several men) and all ages, to have them all scream in shock with C's beheading and stayed in such shock that no one reacted to Jasper's demise as no one was over Carilise's yet. It was all so intense I saw people holding on to each other, hands over their faces and me pulling on my collar so hard I almost couldnt breathe.

Congrats to all involved for the rewrite and twist, keeping it a secret, and providing a fulfilling ending. It angers me when i see other movies and late night shows make fun of the series and state the acting is all bad. Are they just jealous of its success? Its a great story that was acted out very well. The sequencing and the music was such an integral part of the success of the saga and what an experience for those involved. It pulled us all in.

My favorite moment of the marathon was a woman who obviously had not read the books nor seen the movies before (lots were there for first time to do them all at once) where in Eclipse when Bella asks Jacob to finally kiss her--this woman stands up and hoots and hollers and pumps her fist in excitement that Bella was choosing Jacob shouting "I knew it." The whole theatre just cracked up.

One thing that caught my attention unless i dreamt it was in previews Edward with Carlisle said this was all happening because he fell in love with Bella--but in the movie its changed to because he fell in love with a human being. Wonder why they changed it? Billy Burke was great as always and deserves more credit. Rob and Kristen were at their best.

The credits were a wonderful tribute to the entire cast. Great movie!! Thank you.

Gozde said...

I hope Summit and the cast read some of these. Wanted to add that BD Part 1 never showed on TV in the Chicago area--the end of it pulls you into BD2--and would have drawn others to see it. Dont understand why its not shown

Gozde said...

Just got in from seeing the last showing of the day. Wow...loved it...all of it. And I shamelessly wept more than once but especially during the part when Bella "showed" Edward her feelings about him in the meadow. That completely wrecked me for some reason...I will be going back to see it again tomorrow for sure...

Gozde said...

Omg !! Carlisle head gt ripped off ??!! Im gonna watch on th 21 & i really cant wait !!!!

Gozde said...

I went to the marathon showing too and I know what you mean about running on adrenaline :-) It was 4.20am or so before I got to sleep, woke up again at 5 finally went back to sleep and alarm off at 6,20 so up and off to work. Everybody was expecting me to be nodding at my desk but I was fine......slept well last night though(Friday night).
I absolutely loved the film though I wasn't expecting to. When I think about it now I seem to have blank spots....I have to see it again now, and soon!!
The vision sequence was great - I always feel that dream sequences are a cop out but I was so relieved that this hadn't actually happened I could overlook that!! I was rigid in my seat until it was revealed as a future vision!!

Gozde said...

I highly advised u go see it w/o spoiling urself it will be that more incredible:-) it will be worth the wait! Trust us on this one!!!

Gozde said...

Omg what is wrong with me. I thought I will cry so much... and no tear there. I`m so dissapionted in me... cause the film was awesome...

Gozde said...

I will never forget seeing BD2 with 7 other amazing women from Robsessed - Shantique, cjrob, MrsLPattinson, mooveebuff, robcrazy68, Lydia, and GeorgiaPeach. And I can't say enough good things about Bill Condon...BD2 is a satisfying bookend to Catherine Hardwick's perfect beginning. And Lord help them is they ever try to remake Twilight, because there is only ONE Edward Cullen...and his name is Robert Pattinson. And we all remain addicted and devoted....and grateful to Rob for making Edward more than I ever dreamed he could be.

Gozde said...

I loved it! I wrote a whole comment and it disappeared??? 5 stars...the way it left me feeling at the end. Emotional shock and then the relief lead to happiness and 5 stars! Rob was sexy, sweet, funny and fierce. Everyone was on.

Gozde said...

Well said just Bella. Proud to be a fan! The movie was awesome.

Gozde said...

I loved everything about this movie and yes i laughed cried gasped swooned all of the above and will watch it again and again forever best movie thus far ...... you will alll love it

Gozde said...

Bella was a beautiful strong vamp; just as I remembered her
in the book. Sex scene I need to see again; kept thinking of the interviews
when they were talking about sexy face. Meeting the other vamps was well done;
more interesting than I remember. Reneseme and watching them with her...ahh.
The battle; I freaked when my peeps started getting their heads ripped off. The
ending was simply a gift. Thank you SM, BC. It has been such a fun trip through
twilight land. I will miss it.

Gozde said...

I agree that the best thing about these films is that, they, brought us Rob and I am really looking forward to his post-Twi career. Having said that the film is better than I thought it would be, Rob does great and looks good in it despite the darker hair. I would see it again too, I liked the score, using music from the other movies was well done.

Gozde said...

I watched it yesterday, and must admit I'm a little bit in shock.

The first part felt like it was moving a little too fast, but overal it was good. I didn't had much faith in Kristen as a vampire but found myself pleasantly suprised by her performance: less twitchy nervious energy, more beautifly gorgeous features. The movie made my day when she attacked the mongrel, AT FUCKING LAST was he put in his place, and of course to see Edwards pride face was a wonderful bonus. Renesmee looked a little creepy in all stages 'till she got to Mackenzie's age, but everyone next to me couldn't stop gushing how cute the little girl was.

Edward was absolute perfection. I don't know how to describe it, but his energy was simply exultant. The boy was so happy it was imposible to take your eyes away from him. he looked so good, and I mean, SO good! although for me, the best E will allways be Eclipseward.

The kisses were out of this world. Kristen at last was a little more responsive to Rob's technique because to me she didn't look like a kissing fish on this one. The cabin sex was hot, but I must admit, way too short for me, and it was the only sex scene!!! Am I a little perverted for feeling this way? so be it.

I don't know if it was just me, but I felt they made Edward the sexual one this time and it was fuckhot, If I may say so myself. I mean, don't get me wrong, Bella was a more than willing participant, but Edward felt like the iniciator and it was beyond words. It just felt so sensual so... God! Rob did a really great job in portraying Edward and his silky-smooth voice with his light touches and neck kisses. Hot, I tell you, HOT!

I finally felt for Jacob when they told him it was time to pack up and go. I'm weak, I know, but the boy looked really heartbroken.

As usual Billy Burke knocked it out of the park with his portray of Charlie; I really felt for him when they let him in in the situation and he had some of the most funny bits in the movie.

The battle although I knew could not be real didn't feel less exciting. It was shocking and really tragic to see Carlisle and Jasper die and also Marcus with his quiet relieve to finally pass on, but the whole movie theater clapped, and I tell you, everyone, clapped when Jane die, but specially when Aro met his ending. Although I do not appreciate they making me think Edward fell down that crack on the ground; my heart jumped to my mouth and made me nauseous.

The ending on the other hand, was utter perfection. They remembered, They kissed, they loved, FOREVER.

That whole, take the words out of the pages of the book was the most perfect thing ever and it made me so nostalgic. The scenes Bella shares with Edward are some of my favourite ones, both in the books and the movie.

And then when you feel you're as emotionally drained as you can be, the credits start to roll and they show you the entire cast in that damn song. It was too much.

I didn't shed a single tear in the theater, but like I said, I was in shock, and still are a little bit. I don't know if this happen to anyone else but after a few minutes of getting out of the cinema, it hit me: this is the last one and it ended in the most wonderful, flawless way and there's no more.

I'm kind of depressed right now. This morning, I did cry and found myself an emotional wreck.

I loved the movie and will see it again, you know, to really appreciate the details.

I absolutely loved it. I was shaking with the whole twist. It was crazy! And of course Rob looked amazing! I have loved watching him bring Edward to life.

Saw BD2 yesterday. I don't think that I have ever reacted to a movie like that in my whole life. I'm still not sure whiether I would have enjoyed it more watching it alone instead of in a packed theater with a stranger next to me. It somehow felt too personal for me & I felt a little self concious to react the way that I was feeling. I kinda just wanted to be in my own little bubble so that no one could see me. I'm a very emotional Italian so most of the time I really have to try hard to reign in my emotional reactions, & seeing this for the first time I had to really hold on! This movie really was a rollercoaster ride & the battle scene was really freakin me out. I remember sitting there going," What the f@#k is going ON!!" Totally disorienting. And after the Carlile & Jasper abomination, and Edward fell into the big crack in the earth I was yelling at the screen, " OH NO YOU DON'T!!" The whole thing was a total mind fuck. This was supposed to be a "Love Letter" to the fans??? I was really enjoying the movie up until that point but when that whole thing happened I was wondering about the value of artistic licence at the expence of the audience. I realize that for cinematic purposes it was necessary to blow our minds but I think that I would have enjoyed it just as much if it would have ended the way it was supposed to. It would have been a blockbuster either way.The montage at the end was very emotional & sweet & it ripped my heart out. That was really nicely done. Rob as Edward was of course perfection & when that face comes on the screen everybody else is invisible. I will be forever grateful to him for opening my heart to a fictional character & making that character a living breathing person. He has come so far since the first Twilight & I thank him with all my heart for filling many lonely hours. I am honored to call myself ROBSESSED.. Thank you Mr. Pattinson for sharing your amazing talent with us & allowing us to come along for the ride.

Seen it Three times already. Thues/Wednesday With my Twilight friends. I
live in the Netherlands so thats why Ive seen it on wednesday.. I saw
it Thursday and Friday..The movie was great.. Rob was better ;) My
Englisch is not very good so I hope you understand it.

The Best Moments for me where

The Love Between Bella and Edward.

Poor Charlie (we are team Charlie now ;) )
The moment that Jake shows his wolf thing to Charlie.. (daughter is team Jacob)
The furious Bella and victim Jacob, relaxed Edward.
Edward was more relaxed than ever. To see he didnt have to fight his thirst for Bella and hold back his strength
The battle moment and the relief,,, pfiew. I was realy sad to see what happend with Carlisle and Jasper.. And Seth and Leah..
The moment when Edward can see Bella's thoughts.

Strange Moments to me were.

The garage at Charlies house, never seen it before
The vision of Alice with Jake and Renesmee.. See cant seen there future..

This was a intense movie for me, I was in shock to see the batlle thing..
And so relieved when it was a vision of Alice en al people withe me were
too.. To feel the relieve in the theater awesome

I saw the marathon , and had no tears. Then i went back the next day and saw BD2 again, and had a few tears....some things were just so beautiful ... i really "felt" the love of Edward and Bella even more the 2nd day while they were in the meadow AND i realized this was the end of the saga. Maybe I was crying for me~ no more Twilight movie, no more Edward, no more Rob ... except I go see all his movies ! Even so, the reality of the finality of the saga and the beauty of their love story did hit me ...thus the tears. Edward and Bella truly are the modern-day Romeo and Juliet of cinema.,,so long live Kristen and Rob's roles.

Gozde said...

After the movie, as people were leaving, a lot of fans said they were so mad when Carlisle died they were either going to leave or write SM a letter ! It certainly was the twist of the century for a movie !!!!!!!!!

saw it last night in chicago..FULL theatre> mixed male/female andall age ranges from teen to 60-- not just all girls... and i can honestly say i've never been to a movie ever where the crowd collectively laughs out loud at least 25 times and yells/gasps in horror-shock and cheers as a group. I kept thinking too bad the cast isnt here to witness this. i laughed out, i cursed ...BAD a few times...i cried ( a couple times) Through all my tears at the end I could see the teen next to me ( a boy) was wiping his eyes while bella showed edward her thoughts...I loved all the light hearted humor in this one .It was nice to see edward smiling and genuinely happy..and when he thanked Carlisle ...gulp ... my eyes are filling up just thinking about it. i have to go see it again ..and again...♥

Gozde said...

some after thoughts after sleeping. as a girl who loves to shop, well done alice on that closet!! i loved renesmee's room, so angelic. edward thanking carlisle, beautiful moment between the two. love michael sheen but i thought he'd be more 'evil'. seemed to be 'crazy' instead, idk. do agree with someone below on the wolf telepathy. i really need to see the movie again, feel i've forgotten and/or missed a million things.

Gozde said...

the second time seeing the movie was so much better. I wasnt freaking about that battle scene and could really watch it. Wow so much going on with all the characters. Loved the aro, edward bella fight at the end. And the race with jacob and Renesmee. But I think my fav part is in the beginning running through the woods. So surreal.

Gozde said...

I did gasp when Aro held up Carlisle's head, out loud! I had been talking in the car on the way to the theatre about how I was never a fan of Melissa Rosenberg's adaptations of the books, especially Eclipse, which was like a speed read through the Cliff Notes of the book. To me, she made Bella indifferent to Edward's feelings and kind of mean to him. She was also susceptible to a very manipulative Jacob, not reacting to the friend Jacob who cared about her, which was not how Bella was in the books (my opinion guys, don't rip my head off). So when Carlisle was killed I turned to my friend and said "What has she( Melissa) done!!" Then when Jasper's head came off it was like WTF?? But then we all saw it was a vision and and everyone kind of laughed at themselves.

So to Bill Condon, Well Done. That was such a "gotcha" move on the audience. People were freaking out and it was so clever to do that.I have to think that he had a lot to do with the script for these last two movies and that made a huge difference in them being so good. It was a great movie, I'll def be going again.

Gozde said...

Manohla Dargis of the New York Times reviews the movie. I really like her, read a lot of her critical reviews, and I was hoping she would review Twilight. I like her review and overall it is what I would call sympathetic to the movie. " .... The director Bill Condon, however, who brough wit, beauty and actual filmmaking to Part 1 ...doesn't have a lot to play with here, but he makes do and sometimes better than that...this “Twilight” an intensely tactile and intimate experience. Taking his cues from the Golden Age of Hollywood — the close-ups of Bella and Edward bring to mind those of Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift (where is Nik?) in “A Place in the Sun.” He bathes his stars in a gleaming light that gives their pale faces a luxurious alabaster sheen. This is one movie that should have been shot in 3-D if only to allow the fans to caress the air. The glammed up Ms. Stewart, hair flowing and jaw squared, finally looks like the star she has become over the course of the series. Mr. Pattinson, by contrast, has rarely appeared more relaxed, and his character has never seemed more, well, human. ....It’s a fan base that has again also proven the might of the female movie audience. It also injects the movie with an invigorating energy that the movies have rarely sustained since the first “Twilight,” when Catherine Hardwicke, a messy but spirited director, introduced Bella and Edward. It turns out that there’s something to be said about watching these two lovebirds tap into their inner monsters. It’s bloody good fun while it lasts."

Gozde said...

It really was, and everyone in my theater was completely fooled by it, myself included. People were screaming lol like literally screaming

Gozde said...

OK, can someone fill me in on what was shown during or after the credits? I saw the part where they showed/identified all the players in the saga, but on another thread someone posted about seeing something about the next movie??? I tried to stay as long as I could, but left when I got the feeling I was inconveniencing the other folks in my row by standing in place!!

Gozde said...

i stayed awhile as well, just in case but then the lights went up so i figured there was nothing. i've seen on here that there weren't any scenes after the amazing credits.

Gozde said...

just thought of something, liked the scene where bella runs into the light... really cool to see her sparkle 'like diamonds'. i know i know, most of my thoughts have been about bella but i swear edward was amazing. especially when he stood up & fought for his family to the other clans. showed he had 'grown up'

Gozde said...

Saw the movie today.Loved it.It was the perfect end for an amazing 4 year emotional journey.

Gozde said...

I saw BD2 last night and was delighted by the way it ended. BD was never a favorite book of mine in this Twilight saga, and I thought one movie would have sufficed in bringing it life! However, BC did a fabulous job in keeping me interested...the fight scene was amazing and when Carlisle lost his head, there was a collective gasp from the audience, and for the next few minutes, we were in total shock and disbelief - there was actual relief when everyone realized it was a vision.

Also, the montage at the end was lovely, reminded me why I became interested in Twilight to begin with - yes, the romantic love of E/B, but also the awesomeness that is Robert Pattinson...Twilight remains my favorite book and movie, but BD2 (the movie) is a close second.

The credits at the end sent chills through me - I sat like a proud mama watching her babies grow up and leave the nest. Although, I will say, Rob nor Taylor got the biggest applause or screams last night, it was Peter Facinelli and Billy Burke. Their characters were so funny, loving and memorable, that the audience believed they were Charlie and Carlisle...a testament to the acting skills!

I want to thank Robsessed for allowing the beautiful fans of Rob to gather and discuss his talent, and other vital parts! ;o It's been a wild ride, but well worth the admission ticket...I don't comment all the time, but trust me, you are part of my daily activities. Have a pleasant BD2 weekend everyone! GO UCLA BRUINS!

Gozde said...

love the movie. thank you Rob and Kristen for bringing Edward and Bella to life. you did the job.

Gozde said...

LOVED THE MOVIE!!!!! bittersweet it is the end of the SAGA and more importantly....Rob's portrayal of Edward is what caught my eye initially and forever had me hooked!!!! NO one could have played Edward like Rob and I thank Catherine H. for her casting prowlness....excellant job......the original movie captured the angst of the book.......perfect. I also feel (IMHO) is the movies would not have beennearly successful if not for Rob......it would have been a hit but not nearly the phenomenon it is now. I love the ending to BD2.....Bill Condon did a wonderful homage to all the cast of the movies. I had tears..... Daddyward is to die for.......Rob will be a great dad some day. The vampire sex.........have I mentioned before how I love Rob's legs......that glimpse of that naked thigh........DR here I come. The battle well done....I kinda predicted it.....I had already figured out the Sixth Sense movie right at the beginning......must say it worked well here........and I also must say the cinematography was beautiful. Rob looked wonderful.......entire cast did us proud. I am totally Robsessed and am anxiously awaiting obsessing over Rob's future performances............because we know it is's all about our Rob..........I can't wait to watch our man continue to branch out ..........and forever thankful for Twilight for allowing the world a glimpse at this talented , gorgeous man.

Gozde said...

Just saw it and loved it. As much as I will always love Twilight and never tire of it, I think that BD2 will be right up there. Rob was at his best here, he was so tender and loving and sooo beautiful. I wanted to explode during the sex scene in the cottage and when he had on the black v neck t and jeans and every time he hugged Renessme. I thought that Bill Condon did an awesome job portraying the end of the book. The twist at the end made it bearable and the way the history of the saga was put to the screen was perfect. I was in tears at that point. I also liked the way everyone was given credit at the end - it was very touching and well done! Can't imagine how many times I will see this!

Gozde said...

Loved it. Finally got on here to post my 2 thumbs up - well done BC. It moved fast, which some scenes were longer, wanted more vamp sex, was heartbroken (Carlisle), surprised, thrilled Edward took on the leader (thanks to SM, MR, BC), and wished the movie was 3 hours long. Wanted it to go on forever.......

Gozde said...

it was hilarious I loved it and his expression was priceless!

Gozde said...

oh I bet it did! this is so funny I was THIS close too hunting SM down HA HA HA HA HA

Gozde said...

oh I could not sleep either I was almost in tears LOL! *has therapist on speed dial*

Gozde said...

I saw it twice now and I LOVED IT but I was confused because I thought the cast was going too do some kind of finale at the end of the movie and I never saw it or did I misunderstand LOL

Gozde said...

oh I agree with all ya said I bawled when Renesmee get on Jacob's back oh god I was in tears and the part in the book soooo sweet when he did'nt want too teach her how too fight HOW SWEET is that on a scale of one too 1,OOOO seriously so romantic I would give Edward a tonsilectimy of his life just because he is SO romantic!

Gozde said...

*in tears* reading this* okay I need too go too my happy place ....Rob being my happy place :)

Gozde said...

oh wow holy shit but I gotta say it REALLY had me there for a moment!

Gozde said...

oh I know! and I completely forgot about Alices vision in the book how could I forget that jeez what a fan I am LOL

Gozde said...

Certainly seems to have succeeded in pleasing fans -- very fond farewell. Only disappointment was the lack of raunch. However, Condon made up for it with the head ripping...lol Very enjoyable, and, of course, Rob has obviously seen it...;-)

Gozde said...

oh I know really and when Aro got killed people were cheering and when that bitch Jane( I love Dakota LMAO) got it ha ha ha ha ha people were cheering

Gozde said...

I liked Lee Pace..thought quite sexy. I found out about the twist before I got to see the movie so the surprise was no surprise and kind of ruined it for me. Got distracted at the love scene with giggling and talking young girls behind me and then the scene was gone so gonna have to see it again.

Gozde said...

Not even if they make a Jacob and Renesmee(is that spelled right?)movie. I loved what Alice saw in the future for them and Edward's face when he saw it too.

Gozde said...

Little things I noticed..like Charlie feeling Bella's arm and shoulder..cold as marble, right? There were things in the book that I wish had been in the movie but I know some things have to be cut. I wanted to see Bella fly off the table and have a defensive stance in the corner and a little sex scene in the woods. I would have liked to see more of Jasper's reaction to Bella's calmness.

Gozde said...

Just saw it,its EPIC loved it,Robward will never be forgotten, congratulations to all cast really excellent acting specially Billy Burke, well BC nailed it,bittersweet its over, going again tomorrow THANK YOU Twilightxo

Gozde said...

Great movie... really, I loved it. I don't think it has the classic survivability of Twilight, but so very good. The fight scene was great, the cabin cozy, special effects and wolves, and even the extreme closeups were convincing.
So, well done to director, a great production crew, and all the cast. The music, sets, staging were all beautiful and of course, the chemistry between Edward and Bella, perfect... as always.

But, am I the only one annoyed with S. Meyer? She's traveled around the world shoving her face in front of the camera like a teenage starlet, after producing a very moderate, mainly stolen set of stories from classic literature wedded to a romance novel formula... and then adding her "pages" at the end? Please. And, to make such a fuss about the 'betrayal' of the leaking her potential next book...

The screenwriter (Melissa) turned this into a playable script, and the directors made these memorable movies,,, starting with the original and creative eye of C. Hardwicke who had the genius to put two people together that would insure its success.

I can't help but compare Meyer to a much, much better writer in J.K. Rowling, (one among many) who produced a set of books with original characters, unusual settings, and spectacular writing ability. And, how often did (or do) we see her signing autographs, putting herself before the camera and sucking up the press?

I love your comments here... right on all counts!

Not sure if anyone has said this already...but the fight scene should win MTV award for Best Fight for sure!

I am amazed how sickened I was about Carlisle's head ripping scene.....it was like HEY!....you can't do that to him, not him, I have always liked Carlisle but it reinforced how much, after all he 'created' Edward....you just DO NOT DECAPITATE EDWARDS DADDY!!!!! I don't know that I would have felt so strongly if it were Rosalie for instance, there are some characters you just don't mess with man, and hearing alot of reactions, he is obviously one of them. I am suprised at my own level of protectiveness (is that a word?) over the characters. I feel like I know them personally! Going to miss them. =/

I've been MIA due to technical difficulties(me).Already tried to post and disqus ate it. Here goes, hope it works for me this time..

Justin, my grandson went with me to see it Thursday night at our favorite theater. We got there 5 hrs early and people were already lining up. They started seating as early as 7:30 so that was good. When it started there was applause and there were squeals from the young ones for Jacob, but the whole placed swooned loudly for Edward.(no surprise that) ........

The movie....DAAAMMM it was goood!! I mean when Aro tore off Carlisle's head the whole place nearly lost it...I had to clap my hand over my own mouth to stop the screams.. next was Jasper and then it just kept going taking us on this insane ride... and we're all like this cannot be happening!!. There was applause when the wolf saved Jake and Renesmee from the vamp that pursued them... Shouts of dismay when Edward fell into the abyss..then cheers when he shot up out of there...but the place went wild when we saw that it had been Alice's vision..(Bill you really had us goin' there)..Of course the end was sweet and beautiful as promised..Loved the credits (and that they showed Rachelle ).Justin loved the movie, everyone was crying and applauding, it was everything we expected and then some (including the unexpected). I dare anybody to try to say this movie wasn't awesome..just let 'em try.....because BD2 was ABSOLUTELYFREAKIN'OFFTHECHAIN!!!! They should all be very very proud.<3

ps. Woulda been a dream come true to see SM announce at the end that she's finished MS and will be on the shelf soon...I'll never stop hoping..and to me it's not complete until she gives us that.

Saw the movie again today and loved it more. I love listening to the reaction from the audience when the battle scene begins and then the applause when this scene is over. I've noticed more males watching the movie and more men saying it's better than the last one. Thank you Rob and Kristen. Must admit, it's only just hit me that this is the last movie, these past few years seems to have been invested in this love story. That's what it is....after all been said and done It's a love story that survives the many obsticles.

I really enjoyed BD2 - it really moved me and made me remember just why I got so attached to the Twilight movies - I really liked how they used music from the previous ones to link it all back. I was really impressed with Vamp Bella. A very satisfying conclusion.

Good morning!

I've seen the movie twice now.
First I must say that I loved the movie! I thought Kristen was amazing as Vampire Bella. I loved the
humor. Loved the "twist". Rob was great especially in the humourous scenes.

Here are a few things I wish they had done differently-

When Charlie meets Bella, I wish they would have had her notice his neck/pulse, something to make it more obvious how difficult this was for her.

On the sparkle front I wish they had done a shot after the arm wrestling like the book so that all the Cullens are sparkling. They should have been sparkling at the end in the meadow too, they were in full sun!

Sex/romance scenes...should have been longer and they should have put more of them in there to show how they couldn't keep their hands off each other. Even just more making out would have been nice. They could have shown them in the bath tub!

Meadow scene at end - Edward should have been more shocked and surprised when Bella took down her shield and showed him her thoughts.

Mackenzie Foy- Loved her when it was really her...thought the Benjamin Button effect looked odd...like her forehead was not in the right place. They should have just used different girls and not put Mackenzie's face on them.

Other than that, EXTREMELY happy with outcome. They all deserve an award for this movie. :) Going back again today...

I was cheering when Jane died too I was like omg finally with this bitch

ITA, liked it very much the end credits, but why didn't they include the directors of the other movies?

I think CH should have gotten some credits for starting this story the way she did and putting on this awesome cast :)

5 Stars for this review :)

Gozde said...

Oh JG, you totally took the words right of my mouth, I was a loss for words at the end of the movie, I just couldn't think or speak, the only word that came out of my mouth was "Wow!!!"

I can't wait to see it again <3 Unfortunately I have to wait until next Monday as the movie hasn't officially started in Germany, I saw a preview with the Twilight-Marathon and it was just awesome see all the movies back to back.

Gozde said...

Love your last sentence "Consider me officially blown away", consider me too :)

Gozde said...

Don't be too disappointed when the book doesn't have the kind of speed the movie has. Some people feel the end of the book anticlimactic because the battle isn't in it or described, only mentioned very shortly as Alice's vision and what could happen. I liked the book and absolutely loved the movie :)

Gozde said...

She has been freezing, believe me :/ She sent me sms "feeling like -10 degrees", and you know what the Berlin premiere has been, not so great, but she thought it was a very interesting experience.

The Marathon was AWESOME... and the final movie ... I literally had no words at the end for a whole 10 minutes, the only thing I could processing was "WOW". It closed so many things very satisfyingly. Be excited for it!!! I can't wait to see it again next week :)))

Midnight Sun then Edwards point of view in New Moon [even if it would obviously be brief ], Eclipse n Breaking Dawn. Stephenie PLEASE don't leave us hanging !!!!!!

For some reason it's not letting reply to a post so I have to do it this way. I lived the movie and have seen it twice. Someone wrote a post saying that Bear was in the credits and I haven't been able to locate him. Has anybody read that post and been able to see him. I just find it hard to believe that's all and would love to see it.

Gozde said...

Oh yes! Yes! And even though we wouldn't get movies from them maybe Robert would do the audio versions in his
beautiful Edward's voice..that would be a dream come true!

Gozde said...

Most certainly!

Gozde said...

I loved the movie and the book. I always watch the movie before reading the book, and that's worked pretty well. I enjoyed the second half of the book more than thought I would, probably because I knew pretty much what to expect, and I'd read so many comments about people not liking the final book, that it was a lot better than I was expecting.

Gozde said...

Good thinking !!!!

Gozde said...

Oh, poor Green! It is not fun in the cold.... But I bet she got all warm during your Marathon :) I envie you guys so much right now !!!!! And my thrill of anticipation is over the roof.....

Gozde said...

We want this, right? Oh if only we could get what we want... Rob, you have it in your power to make us happy if only SM would get the lead out and finish that book!

Gozde said...

You are right - I wonder why only the actors were mentioned! I bet CH felt slighted.

Gozde said...

Yes, what you said... perfectly described especially my frame of mind during the battle. I just wish I'd been able to cry silent tears. I was just plain ugly crying. It was too much. And, I cried every single time.

Gozde said...

Proud mama bear is right. I've been four times and have sat through the credits all the way to the end each time. It's amazing to feel the conclusion to this, seeing it all the way through and know that these young men and women will only continue to shine. I do agree about Peter and Billy as well. I had that moment, when they showed Carlisle with his smile and his spirit. Peter did such a remarkable job with him... it doesn't hurt that he is part of my favorite scene of the entire franchise.

Gozde said...

Funny, I don't think there was anyone younger than college age at the screening I went to. I liked the variety of vampires in this one. Many were laughably stereotypical (the Irish ones) but some were scruffy which I liked. Did you notice the joking reference to British musicians who do gigs in the US?

Gozde said...

hey Nell, i just watched it. i'm speechless. i'm so happy and sad, it was perfect. i have to write a real review when i calmed down. great to hear you had a good time with the ladies. i haven't seen all of them around much or at all. miss them. hope they are well?

Gozde said...

just came back and really truely can't believe what i saw. how AMAZING the last movie was, never expected that. some things really impressed me and all in all made me unbelievable happy.

Gozde said...

Wasn't it just about perfect, Mizz? I've seen it four times in all, and can't wait to go back. Of course, I'd love more vampire sex...but that says more about me than it does Bill Condon and his editing!! And I can't even begin to explain how nice everyone was - the group just got along effortlessly. I haven't laughed so much in ages!! Everyone was smart, kind, nice, and unbelievably Robsessed!! To be able to talk Rob, think Rob, and sigh over Rob with women who understand this crazy, wonderful passion was invigorating!! We already have the planning for our next get-together in the works! We're going retroRob and looking at his pre-Twilight movies. I can't wait!!

Gozde said...

BD2 is such a fun ride with a theatre full of people who are with the movie emotionally every step of the way. It's probably one of my favorite viewing experiences ever. Bill Condon had me going - all worried to death over the Cullens - big time!! Such a fun, fun twist!!

Gozde said...

Yea Nell...to put it in Taylor's words...''It was AMAZING!''..lol (I know that's gotta be his favorite word)
