Has anyone else noticed that Rob is doing an awful lot of interviews since he returned to LA with smaller, lesser-known entertainment magazines and even a few tabloids – including even smaller, exclusively ‘online’ tabloids like buzzfeed, Daily Beast and Hollywood Life? It almost seems he/his camp is trying to pander to them.

Maybe they think that if they start doing that, the tabloids will stop writing mean things about him; or maybe they have brokered a deal with them to give them interviews if they will back off the dumb stuff – like the offensive airport jaunt recently; along with the Hans Solo & Indiana
Jones articles - both of which were obviously MEANT to stir up MORE bad press for Robert - RIGHT before The Rover gets to theaters.

Paparazzi & tabloids do not like celebs who intentionally ‘steal’ money from them by not posing for decent images or giving them ‘exclusives’. THAT was the main theme of their ‘smear’ campaign long before the stupid ‘cheating’ scandal began.

Plus, Robert has been complaining about those ‘rumors’ in these interviews. It seems like he’s saying, “You want a f*cking interview, I’ll tell you what I think.” The later interviews are more lighthearted, but the beginning couple seemed more biting.

It’s an interesting development… here’s what I’ve been saying about those rumors:

Update 6/10/14 – Have you been enjoying the ‘Indiana Jones” & ‘Star Wars’ articles about Robert Pattinson possibly being cast in them?

What a story! Star Wars has mega fans, Indiana Jones has mega fans and so does Robert Pattinson – extra $$$$! PLUS, tabloids know damn well that Robert isn’t going to be cast in
them; AND they know that the fans of these popular movies will protest – which they did.(Robert Pattinson actually backed up this perspective in a recent interview with The Daily Beast on 6/13 – I LOVE being validated, ha!)

Mean Twitter comment after mean twitter comment followed, and they got to REPORT on them and PUBLISH some of them (you know they went through and picked out the meanest ones).

This is seriously BAD press JUST before his movie, The Rover, comes out later this month – because it INTENTIONALLY-stirs up NEGATIVE sentiments from MEN who might be thinking about checking that movie out. What Indiana Jones or Star Wars fan is going to want to see it, now?!!

These stories have been courtesy of some clever tabloid manipulator who managed to find a string to pull on. ANY WAY they can come up with to HURT Robert and/or Kristen AND their fans (thanks, Joan Rivers – you c*nt!) is what tabloids publish because fans are funny & profitable when they have our emotions whipped up.

Los Angeles Times: The Tabloids Don’t Deserve the First Amendment. Here’s a splash:

“The problem is that the culture of tabloid journalism in both Britain and the United States is deeply tied to criminal acts. Without illegal conduct, tabloids could not preempt the mainstream press, and they would not survive.

Although the law provides us with the tools we need to punish crimes related to free speech, the judicial system is too quick to bow before the 1st Amendment, and as a result we end up shielding criminals who misrepresent themselves as journalists and activists...

Crime is crime. Tabloid journalism uses illegal tactics, and it does not deserve absolute protection from the 1st Amendment.”

One more try... *I* am NOT a monster... We ALL NEED TO UNITE!! I would HAPPILY hand this petition off you a community TwiLeader if you want to rewrite it or host it or whatever. SOMEONE needs to start taking action against these tabloid jerks.

We don’t have to agree on any other thing than to be MAD at the tabloids and paparazzi.

The petition does not call for changing any US laws, nor does it mess with ‘Freedom of Speech’. For that reason, anyone of any age or location around the world can sign it – it’s for all celebrities and it’s WORTH a TRY. The way Hollywood treats it’s celebrities is NOT a NEW topic of discussion. People everywhere have been fed up with the way they are treated for decades.

SEARCH explaintwilightbreakingdawnending on blogspot to SIGN the PETITION for tabloid & paparazzi reform for ALL celebrities or brainstorm to figure out something else that WILL WORK.
