Bryce Dallas Howard Stays Away From Robert Pattinson's Hair!

Photobucket

(...) it was the popcorn hits that placed her centre stage: Spider-Man 3, Terminator Salvation and her splashiest role so far, as the evil vampire Victoria in last year’s Twilight installment Eclipse, opposite Kristen Stewart and heart-throbs Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who were mobbed in Vancouver where they were filming. ‘The fans are very passionate,’ she says, ‘but Rob is totally humble and embarrassed about all the attention.’ She agrees that he is gorgeous. ‘I just knew that, in our fight scene, if I messed up his hair millions of young women would want to kill me.’

Robert Pattinson's "Eclipse" Co-Stars Praise Him To Radar Online

Robert Pattinson was on top of his game at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse at the LA Film Festival Thursday night, and RadarOnline.com was on the “black carpet” to watch the fans and even his co-stars go wild for him as soon as they saw him.

“Rob’s a superstar,” Nikki Reed exclusively told RadarOnline.com as R-Pattz walked behind her on the carpet. The deafening screams by the fans that had waited for four days to see their favorite vampire had Nikki politely asking “Do you want to wait? Can you hear me?” when we started the interview.

Looking gorgeous in a Marchesa dress that she told us was “so comfortable,” Nikki said it was better to talk with Rob off the carpet at a premiere. “It’s more fun to see him when he’s not on the red carpet because you can actually hear!”

Bryce Dallas Howard, who replaced Rachelle Lefevre as the evil vampire Victoria, was not above acting like a fan around Rob. “Look what he’s wearing! He’s perfect,” she gushed over her co-star in Eclipse. She even joked that she was “Verklempt over the possibility of talking to Rob!”

There were two new additions to the cast that RadarOnline.com spoke with at the premiere. Kirsten Prout and Jodelle Ferland, who plays the newborn vampire Bree and who said she really enjoyed filming scenes with Rob Pattinson. "He's definitely not Edward Cullen," she dished. "Edward is so serious, he's a really cool guy!"

Bryce Dallas Howard, a replacement actress playing vampire-with-a-vengeance Victoria, is a Twihard: “I had seen Twilight innumerable times. After I saw it for the fourth time, one of my best guy friends, for my birthday, made me Post-it notes with Robert Pattinson’s face that said, ‘Live Dangerously,’ because I was so obsessed. My husband actually said to me, ‘Do I need to be worried about this?’"

Vulture Exclusive: Robert Pattinson Chips Tooth in Flossing Accident, Says Twilight 3 Co-star

Sure, he looks foul-smelling, but would you believe Twilight star Robert Pattinson is really "incredibly hygienic"? So hygienic, in fact, that he's a threat to himself and his teeth? It's true, claims his Eclipse co-star Bryce Dallas Howard! When we ran into her at the recent New York premiere of her new movie, the Tennessee Williams–scripted The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond (out today), she told us about her first brush with Rob: "I actually came out to him that I was totally nervous about [meeting him]," said Howard, who will replace Rachelle Lafevre as evil vampire Victoria in next year's Twilight 3. "He’s such a sweet young man, and there’s such a distinctive difference between him and Edward Cullen. He does such a wonderful job embodying that character, and bringing that character to life. But when you meet him, he’s such a down-to-earth, humble person, you feel bad freaking out around him."

"But what does he smell like?" we inquired. "Actually, he’s incredibly hygienic," Howard insisted. "He told me this story that made me crack up. He was like, 'Oh, I have to go to the dentist.' And I was like, 'Oh no, what happened? Just a check-up?' And he was like, 'No, I chipped a tooth.' And I was like, 'How?' And he was like, ‘Flossing.’ Who does that? I don’t even floss. So he’s hygienic. Trust me."

Looks Like Bryce Dallas Howard Is A Robert Pattinson Fan Too

From MTV
NEW YORK — When "Spider-Man 3" actress Bryce Dallas Howard was tapped to replace Rachelle Lefevre as vampire Victoria in the third "Twilight" film, "Eclipse," the 28-year-old didn't need a last-minute study session to ace her character. She was already a fan of the wildly popular series.

"I had already read the books. I had actually seen 'Twilight' several times, much to my husband's chagrin," Howard told MTV News while promoting her upcoming release, "The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond." "Whenever Robert Pattinson would come onscreen, I would grab my husband's hands and start squeezing, and he'd be like, 'Stop squeezing my hand!' "

Though Howard felt intimidated joining the tight-knit cast so close to the start of production, one of her biggest challenges may have been maintaining continuity between Lefevre's Victoria and her portrayal of the revenge-bent bloodsucker. While Howard and Lefevre share similar physical traits, including signature flaming-red tresses, Howard put much care toward embodying the already-established character.

"The visual continuity of the character of Victoria is really important because such a distinctive character had been created that the fans and the audience had really connected to," Howard explained. "She's really described perfectly in the book. So that's what's really important to everybody, that there's an authenticity to bringing these characters to life. It's not really an interpretation. It's like a true representation of what's written on the page, so that's obviously incredibly important to preserve."
