Compilation Video Of Interviews With Robert Pattinson

Compilation Video Of Interviews With Robert Pattinson from "Remember me",

There's one new question asked in the vid (the BD one) the rest we've seen/heard before.

Translation:
From Brad to RPattz - another heartthrob, when he arrives on the red carpet - the girls' heart beats get louder along with their screaming.
As the fans requested, we're gonna see Robert this week as 'hot in hollywood' we're gonna see a reportage about his life with exclusive interviews.
It's true that the world-wide fame came to Rob Pattinson with the Twilight movies but his professional life in cinema started when he was a young man in the Harry Potter movies.
1:06 : the fans' passion about twilight had always been exceptional. and Robert's life changed all of a sudden.
1:40 : what was the biggest challenge about playing Edward?
2:10 : in real life, Robert Pattinson is really shy.
2:43 : and he gave us some more details about the upcoming movie Breaking Dawn Part 2
3:25 : and the last time Kristen and Robert visited London, they preferred to get out of their hotel separately like the whole world doesn't know about their offscreen relationship.

Here's a little refresher of the Water for Elephants & Breaking Dawn Interviews for those of you that want to go down memory lane

Who Wants Robert Pattinson As Her Boyfriend & Learning About The Pattinson Effect At A Young Age

I think the question should probably be "Who Doesn't" want Robert Pattinson as their boyfriend but in this case the person who wants him is iCarli's Miranda Cosgrove. She tells Rosie O'Donnell about her wish to have Rob as her onscreen boyfriend

And Morgan Turner (Mildred Pierce) who had a small part in "Remember Me" learned at a young age how important being in the presence of Rob is ..........

Photobucket

Until "Mildred Pierce" came along, Turner's coolest assignment was a small role in "Remember Me" starring Robert Pattinson. It made her the envy of the schoolyard.
"I didn't really get to talk to him," she reports of the "Twilight" hunk. "But I was in his presence. And that counts."

Yes it does Morgan, Yes it does.
And what you're talking about is called the Pattinson Effect, it happens just from being in his presence.

Robert Pattinson's "Remember Me" Was One Of The Most Profitable Films Of 2010

Photobucket

While this comes as no surprise to us I'd say it came as a surprise to the critics who gave it bad reviews.

Numbers.com did the math and here's what they came up with.

"Remember Me" makes it in at the No30 spot on the list with a comparative profit of $20,996,644

In making this calculation, they took the production budget, domestic and international box office and domestic DVD sales for each movie released during the year and calculated a rough total gross profit for the film.

Check out the other 29 films on the list over at the Numbers.com website.

And here's a little reminder why we loved "Remember Me" enough to get it on the most profitable films list for 2010

Robert Pattinson is the 2010 Celeb of the Year

Photobucket

The fans certainly want you, Rob!

But Eonline doesn't care much about that. In another annoying poll, from an entertainment site, for the sole purpose to drive traffic to their site, Rob was up for 2010 Celeb of the Year. It came down to him and Kristen Stewart. The competition was tight. Rob won and here's how Eonline chose to report on the poll:

Wow, you guys, it's incredible to realize we've reached the peak of our Celeb of the Year tournament.

This competition was not for the faint of heart. We started off with 99 of the year's biggest celebs and put the task of naming a champion in your hands. In the end, the final matchup was the most agonizing and also one of the closest: Who would walk away with the title? Would it be Robert Pattinson or would it be Kristen Stewart? The votes are in.

So who is your 2010 Celeb of the Year?

Robert Pattinson.

(Who would have ever imagined.)

The race was close right up to the end, but ultimately Pattinson's 6,430 votes (51.5 percent) won out over Stewart's 6,063 votes (48.5 percent). Could this be considered an upset?

While both actors shared in the success of this summer's third Twilight installment, Eclipse, which brought in more than $300 million at the box office, it seemed Stewart had the more noteworthy year, career-wise. Her two other films, The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys, both earned the actress solid critical and audience acclaim, further establishing her as more than just Bella Swan. Pattinson's other film, Remember Me, on the other hand...Well, critics and audiences had other thoughts on that one.

But the people have spoken and here's to the winner and everyone else who fought for the top spot! (Keep it up, Betty White!) Better luck in 2011.

Do you see where my issue lies? So fans vote for Rob in eonline's poll, he wins, and they insult his first movie outside the Twilight world. Was this a poll critiquing movies? No. It was a Celeb of the Year poll voted by fans.

Yes, many critics were just not that into Remember Me but there were critics that "got it" as well. And audiences? Are they going solely on box office numbers? Couldn't be because The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys were great films but also didn't pull big numbers. RM, TR, WttR were small films. Not blockbuster material like Twilight.

So they must be suggesting that they spoke to all audience members and they found Rob's movie to be lesser than, what? Eclipse? On the contrary, 71% of audiences enjoyed Remember Me based on Rotten Tomatoes ratings. That's hardly bad and it's in line with what I read during the theatrical run. Audiences were more in favor of the film than critics.

It's such an arbitrary, negative statement in a poll that I thought was positive for the fans of Rob, Kristen, and the other contestants before the final round. Clearly this article annoyed me to no end. Probably because I had my family watch the movie, took my college class of 30 to see the movie (class about interpersonal communication), and they were all surprised about how much they enjoyed the film.

UGH. Mainstream media has always gotten under my skin. This article just made me itch more than usual. Rob has big things happening in 2011 and I'm happy we're all going to be massively supportive of him, regardless of what the critics say or how these entertainment sites want to paint him.

Robert Pattinson's Remember Me continues to gain end of the year praises

Moviehole got the memo that Robert Pattinson was fantastic in Remember Me and many critics missed the boat. They list RM on 2 separate, end of the year, film recaps.

From Moviehole Clint's Top 10 Films of 2010
10. Remember Me

I remember getting an Atari for my 10th birthday. That was a big surprise. When I caught the top of those tiny ted joysticks atop of their black spongy controls, I knew my entry into double figure land was going to be one to remember. Wanna know what a bigger surprise was? ”Remember Me”! This truly out Gorfed Gorf and Swallowed Pac Man hole in terms of pleasant surprises – I kid you not. Say what you will about his sparkling work in those vampire pics, Robert Pattinson delivers one of the richest and most weighty performances of any actor this year with his uneasy son and lover at the center of director Allen Coulter’s love letter to 9/11 (yes, there is such a thing). Catch it on DVD – you’ll find it, unjustly, at the ‘bottom’ of the new releases shelf.

From Moviehole 10 Great Films You Missed in 2010
10. Remember Me

I know, I know, ‘but it’s got that guy with more gunk in his hair than Liz Hurley does in her nether regions’ but c’mon! many-a-good-actor have started out in the cinematic mailroom and graduated to an awe-impressive high-rise suite – just look at Robin ‘Mork’ Williams, Josh ‘Goonies’ Brolin, Tom ‘Bosom Buddies’ Hanks or Stephen ‘Evil Ed’ Geoffries! (Ok, bad example) – ain’t Robert Pattinson innocent until the gavel slams down!? This film, a heartrending relationship drama (it’s both about the rapport between a young couple and also one between a young man and his estranged father) that played to the tick of a 9/11 countdown, proved there’s much more to “Twilight” vamp Robert Pattinson than blank stares, sparkles and tree hopping. Quite simply, Pattinson was an eye-opener in this film. Skeptics need see it.

Tink: I love reading from folks outside our ROBsessed bubble that truly got what a wonderful job Rob did in this movie. Click HERE to read another critic who "got it".
