Looks like PromoRob needs a break. LOL I'm not sure if you followed the media post-KimmelRob but his hyperbolic story about masturbating dogs on the set of Good Time went viral.



PETA got involved, released statements, notified press, there have been headlines...very interesting headlines and it's been hilariously blown out of proportion. So much so that ROBERT PATTINSON actually released a statement to clear things up.

The story I told on Jimmy Kimmel last night seems to have spiraled out of control. What didn’t come across is that this was supposed to be a joke. No one at all expected or assumed that anything like that would happen on the Good Time set. We are all huge animal lovers and would obviously never do anything to harm an animal. Everyone involved in Good Time are amazing professionals and have come together to make a movie that I’m extremely proud of. I feel embarrassed that in the moment, I was trying to make Jimmy laugh, only to create confusion and a false impression.

This whole thing has been very amusing to me.



Oh come on! This is hysterical. Rob has a history of crazy stories on Kimmel. This time, he got himself so deep, he had to release a statement - something he basically never does.



And I'm still laughing. Oh Rob...



Now I wonder if Colbert will bring it up....

Entertainment Weekly was able to snag Fifty Shades Trilogy/Master of the Universe author, E.L. James/Icy, for her first big magazine spread. In the interview (April 6th issue), they contacted Kristen Stewart about the novel to get her comments. She mentioned Rob talking about it!

Holy smokes. This is too much to process. LOL I know MANY of you have read MotU. I read it myself when it started in 2009 as a WIP. I'm 99.9% sure you all imagined Rob as Fifty like I did and do with every Ficward so the above mention kinda blows my mind. Are you not dying to know what Rob was saying about Fifty? Did he really read it? Or what else he and Wyck were up to?? I doubt it was just to gossip about Twifanfic making it BIG. I want to know Rob's next project (and I know it isn't Fifty lol). Since Fifty is now mainstream and press knows it's origins, I doubt this is the last we'll hear from Rob on the subject. And hopefully we know soon if there's anything to make of his chat with Wyck. Rob DID hint at something during the Breaking Dawn World Premiere. Click HERE and watch the 4th video.

New Moon is Selling 10 Tickets Per Second!!!

Ticket sales show no signs of tapering off this weekend, as the movie is trending to sell more than 10 tickets per second throughout the course of the day on Fandango.

Summit Entertainment has reported that “New Moon” set a new record for opening midnight shows with an estimated gross of $26.270 million playing at 3,514 theaters for a per theater average of $7,476.

Several thousand of last night’s midnight shows were sold out in advance on our site. Fandango sold nearly 30% of Thursday night’s estimated domestic box office for “New Moon.”

Reuters is reporting that New Moon tickets are already selling out at some locations! It's MADNESS, madness I tell ya!

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - This "New Moon" is rising early.

Advanced tickets sales for Summit Entertainment's sequel vampire romance "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" are going so well that online ticket vendors are reporting sellouts of the earliest showtimes at many locations. Nine weeks before the film's November 20 release, MovieTickets is reporting more than a dozen "New Moon" performances as complete sellouts.

A Fandango spokesman said "New Moon" represents 57 percent of its recent ticket sales, with sellouts at some locations. By comparison, the coming weekend's anticipated No. 1 picture -- Sony's 3D animated feature "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" -- is the next most popular choice of purchasers at 9 percent of all Fandango sales.

This week MovieTickets asked visitors to its Web site which holiday release they are most anticipating. 3D sci-fi action feature "Avatar" was the choice of 67 percent of respondents. The film unspools on December 18 but also has been selling advance tickets to its earliest showings. Thirty-three percent of respondents said they are most looking forward to "New Moon."
