Brace yourselves. Is Robert Pattinson reteaming with David Michôd (The Rover), Joel Edgerton (Life) and Brad Pitt (The Lost City of Z) for a new movie? Production would start in June!

The main industry trades (Variety, Deadline, The Wrap) haven't mentioned Rob's involvement yet but IMDbPro has included Rob in a new project:

The King would have Rob rejoining his The Rover writer/director, David Michôd, and Life costar, Joel Edgerton, if IMDb proves to be correct. Rob also worked with Brad Pitt who co-produced The Lost City of Z. Brad recently worked with David in War Machine available on Netflix.

Little White Lies posted about The King, which will star Oscar nominated, Timothy Chalmet (Call Me By Your Name), but they might have gotten their info from IMDbPro as well.

From LWL:
Fresh from his breakout roles in Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me by Your Name and Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird, Timothée Chalamet is reportedly in line to play King Henry V in a new Netflix release from Animal Kingdom and The Rover director David
Michôd...According to Deadline Chalamet is set to appear in The King as the eponymous English monarch, who famously led his army to victory at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415 during the Hundred Years’ War with France. He died aged 36, leaving the throne to his infant son.
Michôd’s previous feature, the Brad Pitt-fronted military satire War Machine, arrived on Netflix last year to little fanfare. The Australian filmmaker has teamed up with regular collaborator and compatriot Joel Edgerton to pen the script for The King, and with Chalamet joining Robert Pattinson in the principle cast, we’re bracing ourselves for something big.
Oh I would definitely be bracing.

Excerpted details from Deadline (does not include mention of Rob):
Timothee Chalamet is firming his first starring role since being Oscar nominated for his breakout turn in Call Me By Your Name. Chalamet will star as the title character in The King, a Plan B-produced drama helmed by David Michôd. Production will start in June.
Joel Edgerton and Michôd wrote the script. Chalamet will play the young Henry V. After his brother is killed in battle before his coronation, a young king is coronated in the late 1300s. The reluctant ruler wears the crown at a time when England was near a war with France, and the empire is teetering. He rises to the occasion, admirably.
Plan B’s Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner will produce along with Edgerton and Michôd. Liz Watts, who produced the Michôd-directed Animal Kingdom and The Rover, are also producing. Michôd made his most recent film with Plan B and Netflix, the Brad Pitt-starrer War Machine.
Fingers crossed, guys! I wouldn't mind seeing this reunion at all. ;)

More information on Robert Pattinson's newest project, Hold On To Me

Hold On To Me made Variety's list of films that has AFM (American Film Market) buzzing and Film Nation released more information about the film.

Photobucket From FilmNation:
FilmNation will handle international sales and distribution on Academy Award® winning director James Marsh’s (Man on Wire) Hold On To Me starring Academy Award® Nominee Carey Mulligan (Drive, The Great Gatsby, An Education) and Robert Pattinson (Twilight, Cosmopolis). Hold On To Me is written by Brad Ingelsby (Out of the Furnace) and is an electrifying thriller based on the extraordinary true story of a femme fatale who kidnaps and ransoms the town’s richest man. The film will be produced by Alexandra Milchan alongside Todd Field and Indian Paintbrush’s Steven Rales and Mark Roybal.
Mulligan plays Nancy, a small town girl who callously leaves her boyfriend Jimmy (Pattinson) behind to chase a modelling career in New York City, breaking his heart in the process. To Nancy’s surprise, New York isn’t impressed by her and at 26, she’s back home waiting tables at the local diner. When she gets word that Jimmy has become a wealthy and successful criminal in Chicago, she tracks him down with a view to winning his affections, only to find crushing rejection. Fuelled by jealousy and an unquenchable thirst for fortune, Nancy finds Danny, a naïve pawn she can seduce and manipulate to her own ends and together they embark on a life of crime. Success comes fast, and leaves faster but nothing and no one will stand in the way of Nancy’s naked, dangerous and deadly ambition.
The producers commented, "Glen Basner and his team are simply the best in the business. We are elated to be partnering with FilmNation in bringing to life this stranger than fiction, true crime story."
Sales will commence at the upcoming American Film Market.
FilmNation’s Glen Basner said, “Hold On To Me is a compelling and sexy modern day Bonnie and Clyde story that we’re excited to introduce to buyers at AFM. Carey Mulligan is certain to deliver one of the most memorable femme fatale performances in cinematic history.”
This is clearly Carey's vehicle but how great does it sound?? I'm so excited for Rob to be a part of it. Hell, I'm excited for Rob to be a part of all his upcoming films. He's working with great artists and the stories are so compelling. We have much to look forward to, DR. :)

From Deadline

EXCLUSIVE:

As packages firm up for AFM, here’s one that will surely reverberate in Santa Monica. Robert Pattinson is signing on to star with Carey Mulligan in Hold On To Me. The film will be directed by James Marsh, who won an Oscar for the docu Man On Wire and followed with Project Nim.
Pic is based on a true story about a femme fatale who with her boyfriend kidnaps and ransoms the town’s richest man. They bury him in a box and things go horribly awry. Pattinson plays the flashy supporting role of the woman’s life love, Jimmy, who isn’t involved in the crime. The project was scripted by Brad Ingelsby.

Indian Paintbrush’s Steven Rales, Mark Roybal and Michael Pruss are producing with Alexandra Milchan. Also producing is Todd Field, who originally developed the film to direct, but stepped off to helm Creed of Violence for Cross Creek.

Pattinson adds this to an early 2013 schedule that will have him starring opposite Guy Pearce in the David Michod-directed The Rover, and he is also starring in Mission Blacklist, the true story of the U.S. military interrogator responsible for discovering the location of Saddam Hussein in the hunt for the fallen leader. He is repped by WME and 3 Arts.
