Apology for the redirects

Dear readers,

One of our friends informed us that for the last couple of days when she clicked on the pictures on ROBsessed she was being redirected to a phishing site. After some research we found out that the "sitemeter" widget we had at the bottom of the page was to blame. We had this widget since we founded our site in 2008,  but unfortunately there are a lot of reports on the internet that the widget is no longer safe.

We removed it immediately and did a malware scan on our site, it's completely clean. You can safely browse :)

UPDATE: We got an email saying there was also a "pop-up" problem. When the pop-up is loading there should be a website link displayed somewhere on the page. If you can see that link, please email us so that we can solve the issue.

UPDATE 2: We found the guilty "pop-up" app and removed it but it may take a couple of hours for it to get back to normal :) Thanks for the support!

New address no thanks to godaddy and blogger

Dear all,

Godaddy has been hacked yesterday and now apparently blogger is having problems. Until that is solved you can access our blog thorugh: robsessed-pattinson.blogspot.com . 

Of course the biggest fault is : https://twitter.com/AnonymousOwn3r who hacked godaddy and screwed millions of innocent bloggers at the same time. Shame on you man, the monster judges you!

Stealing is NOT the highest form of flattery

Dear Robsessors,

We wanted to caution you on some facebook pages that impersonate us. We have only 1 facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/ROBsessed/191595374528. Please follow us on there. NONE of the other ROBsessed pages are affiliated with us.

We've been facing this problem for a while now and unfortunately these bottom deweller, lowlife copycats don't seem to have a decent bone in their bodies. The number of them keeps increasing . We are going to take legal action against them but wanted to let you guys know incase you are following one of them and see a post that we would never post.

Spoiler Alert Post

Dear ROBsessors,

As Remember Me premiere approaches more and more people seem to get their hands on the script. It has come to our attention that some of you post spoilers from the movie in the comments section. PLEASE keep the comments spoiler free. If you REALLY have to post and talk to people like you who like being spoiled put a ***SPOILER WARNING*** at the beginning of your comment then leave 10 empty lines and post your spoiler, go nuts if you must :) But make sure you leave those empty lines so that people like ME who are spoilerphobes can go to the movie and be surprised when Tyler decides to become a Ninja...That's what I heard :)

I don't even watch the TV spots or the new clips from the movie. I know there are lots of people like me.

Don't make the monster judge you :)

How To Be and The Leak

I am having a soap box moment. Someone just sent me the link to download the How To Be movie. This movie was made with a very small budget and it's an independent movie. The producers of the movie struggled to find distribution for it, fans worked hard to get screening in their areas and FINALLY it is getting the recognition it deserves. It is on IFC Direct on demand and the DVD will be released in the UK in 2 weeks.

Are we this impatient? Can we not wait a little while and give a little back to watch the movie?

You can say : "Oh, I'll download it now and I'll definitely buy it when it comes out" but I bet you only %10 will do this. Most will go with the downloaded crappy "free" version.

The director, the actors, the producers have been touring the world to meet with the fans. Everyone that went to the screenings keep saying how friendly and gracious they were and someone out there steals their work and puts it up for download.

I am truly saddened by this and I hope you choose not to download it and buy it instead.
