Things that make you go hmmmm: Robert Pattinson penned a screenplay? New interview with Stephenie Meyer suggests so

PhotobucketRob's such a hot commodity. A renaissance man. An artist with boundless talents. Sure we're biased but it's the best bias to be in. ;)

Rob's affection for Martin Amis' Money is nothing new (he'd like to play John Self one day) and neither is knowing he writes more than songs. Put two and two together and you get this mention from an interviewer and Stephenie Meyer, who's promoting The Host. Excerpt from The Times (UK):
Meyer adds that she hasn’t seen either of them since the last Breaking Dawn premiere, and missed their company deeply on the set of The Host. Nevertheless, she hasn’t yet felt inspired to seek out any of Pattinson’s own writing, which includes a screen adaptation of the Martin Amis novel Money – about as far removed from Twilight as it is possible to get. “No, I haven’t read his script,” she admits, sheepishly, looking surprised that I know of its existence. “I’d be interested… and a little scared.”
Click HERE to read the article in its entirety. She talks Twilight, the fame that came with the territory and calling Rob fans Robsters........??? :)

Lord only knows if or when we could see this to fruition. Our constant state of being right now is to just keep hearing/reading about RenaissanceRob and waiting to see RenaissanceRob. We'll wait for a lifetime. That's part of a ROBsessed vow, non? Must find those oaths in the DR safe. ;)

Thanks for the heads up, Calihi!

Round-up Of "Breaking Dawn" Filming Updates From Yesterday

New Pic of Isle Esme yesterday with the window blocked off and a security boat keeping watch

So you may or may not have been keeping track on twitter of what was going down in Rio with the "Breaking Dawn" Filming yesterday.

So just in case you missed anything here's a round-up.

Filming at Isle Esme started around 10:30 am with scenes being shot inside the house. The scenes weren't shot in order (which is not unusual). So they filmed the morning after scenes first (bruises and phone call) and the hot and steamy scenes were being shot later on that night.

There was only a few people on the set. Rob, Kristen, about 2 or 3 cameramen and Bill.
It hasn't been confirmed if Steph was there or not but it has been "rumoured" that she was present at the filming of the bedroom scenes (You better give me what I've been waiting for Steph) Hands up who wants to be Steph for a day? In particular yesterday? Imagine seeing that first hand........Oh God I don't think I could stay quiet watching. I'd probably be biting my tongue.

Anyway back on track...........

Then they moved onto the beach where "according" to a fan there, Kristen recorded the waterfall scene in a white bikini and shorts.
"Rumour" also has it that it was Steph's idea that Kristen wear shorts over her swimsuit for that scene! (WTF Steph ??)

There was a boat full of papz at the island pointing to the house where they were staying (the production house), not the house that they were filming at, although as you can see from the photo above they didn't have much chance of getting any pics as the house was bocked off and there was a security boat on patrol. (We should have sent them some underwater diving gear so they could get up close and personal)

The water sex scene wrapped at 1am. (God what I wouldn't give for some pics!) Bill Condon was very happy.
Filming should wrap today just a few details left to shoot.

It's said that Rob and Kristen are to leave Brazil Saturday

So there you have it, you're all up to date now with what went on in Rio yesterday!

Ooh and freaky fact time.
Mackenzie Foy, who as you know, is playing Renesmee celebrated her birthday yesterday which is a bit strange seeing as they were busy filming Renesmee's "creation" scene!

Stephenie Meyer Talks About Robert Pattinson's Best Day On The "Eclipse" Set & Angryward

Stephenie Meyer Talks About Robert Pattinson's Best Day On The "Eclipse" Set & Angryward

Transcription:
Kim: Okay, we have a question about the Angry Edward, and how hot he is. When he gets angry, he pulls up, and he’s like…ya know……if you ever touch her against her will again. All the fans just love it. We all love it and everybody went crazy. The members, our members, we all wanna know about angry Edward.

Alison: Why do you think the fandom thinks Angry Edward is SO hot?

SM: Ya know it’s funny about this scene, and Meghan’s giving me the eye. That’s the one I walked out on, on the dailies because in my head that scene was so much different. In the movie Edward is quite separate motivation-ally from the book Edward. At this point in the film in the story for me he’s gotten past this. Like he’s realized “I can’t act like a teenage boy anymore. I have to give her space. I have to be the mature one here.” And in that scene in the book, he has, icy calm control. He is very gentle. He is very soft spoken. He is very mature. So when I see him….and plus ya know, the movies are unable to bring to life some of the elements in the mythology. If Edward had, in anger, grabbed Jacob by the shoulder, his arm would have come off. And the fact that Taylor is uninjured, and that he just kind of sits there…..bothered me. So I'm like…wait! If we are gonna go for it, tear his arm off. Ya know. And it’s hard for them, because blood puts you over the limit and stuff, and they would not tear off Jacob’s arm. I’m like….if we want angry Edward, I wanna see some blood. They had already filmed that day, so we couldn’t redo it but, people have responded really well to it.
