On Sunday we were treated to a sneak peek of Robert Pattinson in the sales trailer for The Lost City of Z.  The link to the trailer has been removed now but not before it caught the eye of the critics.  See some of the reactions below:

Described as an action-adventure, in Gray’s hand this new sales trailer is somewhat reminiscent of “Apocalypse Now,” and given the filmmaker is an avowed Francis Ford Coppola fan, you’ll probably see more of that influence in the movie itself (as well as that of David Lean, whom Gray said was an major inspiration on the film) via the cinematography of the great Darius Khondji (who shot “The Immigrant”)."

The man can grow a beard. Damn.

Magical Monday urges Robert Pattinson to release the jaw!

Don't get me wrong, I love fully bearded MountainRob, but I love Robert Pattinson with his jaw in all it's uncovered or simply scruffy glory even more.

A recent email between myself, Kate, Goz and Tink had this conversation:

Me ~ "I'm worried his beard is getting near to TomStu atrociousness though...."

Tink ~ "it could NEVER do that...."

Me ~ "I don't know - I think it might if he doesn't hurry up and start shooting something! I'll take Breaking Dawn re-shoots if it gets too bad... LMAO!"

So the news yesterday gave me hope that Operation Cover The Jaw may soon be defeated and the jaw shall be released once again. I'm sorry it means he has to get back into Edward mode (17 years old? Really?) but I'm selfishly ecstatic about the razor and hope we get to see StubbleRob shortly thereafter.

We have THIS to look forward to....

MUCH MUCH more jaw hidden behind the cut... and not the beard...

POLL: Will Robert Pattinson shave his beard for Breaking Dawn promo?

Robert Pattinson popped up at LAX today after weeks of rumored whereabouts and angsty, dehydrated fans seeing mirages. He's leaving on a jet plane and the consensus is he's bound for Paris to start the European leg of Breaking Dawn promotion.



The first event is Sunday, Oct. 23rd (6pm Paris time) but something more important is...WILL HE SHAVE???



Let's see what the ladies of the D.R. think. This is serious business.




Me? I think he'll be "Sexy Stubble". The beard is his "privacy cover" and he'll ditch it for promo. GQ'd out in Paris on Sunday. Suited and booted. I can't wait. :)
