Robert Pattinson makes an appearance at the Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards

This award show was tonight in Los Angeles. There was a rumor about Rob appearing on twitter but now we see it wasn't a rumor.

Rob presented the award to Chris Weitz who was honored at the ceremony as director for A Better Life. Hopefully we get an official picture of the two of them :) Seems like we should.

What are the Hamilton Awards?
The Hamilton involvement in the movie world extends far beyond product. Each year, Hamilton hosts the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in Hollywood to honor special artists for their individual impact on the film industry. The awards spotlight the vital and highly creative work carried out behind the scenes to make a movie successful, whether it is screenwriting or the demanding work of the prop-master or costume designer.

More info on the actual show this evening:

Robert Pattinson's name floats around another film project

I love when Robert Pattinson gets these kinds of mentions. When his name is floating around high profile or anticipated films. Will he get this role?

But it's still good for us to see the company he keeps in the industry. :)
From The Playlist:

Steven Soderbergh‘s latest picture “Contagion” is in its second week of release with a healthy tally thus far of over $45 million, and his next feature, the independent male stripper film “Magic Mike,” is currently shooting. And now the director is already mapping out—at least if he sticks to the current plan—his penultimate film, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

...

With Clooney as the American lead Napoleon Solo—giving the film the star power it needed—Soderbergh was essentially free to cast a lesser known in the secondary role. However, now that Clooney is out, Warner Bros. is putting an emphasis on big name actors for both roles, hence their desire for the likes of Gosling, Skarsgard and Gordon-Levitt. Of course, things are still at the wishlist level with only minor inquiries with agents about schedules, but this is the idea as of right now. WB is throwing other wishlist names around as well, including usual suspects like Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Pine, Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jon Hamm, Russell Crowe and Robert Pattinson, hoping one of them will stick with the director.

You see those names?? Love it. I also know we are desperate to know Rob's next project *coughNick!cough* so we eat this stuff up.
