Rob was smart to bring along his trusty Oliver Peoples “Gregory Peck” sunglasses. He scored these shades in a brand new color from the brand! As for his premiere wardrobe, Rob was clad in a stylish Dior Homme black single-button, slim peak lapel tuxedo with a white cotton shirt and black satin tie. Oh, my.Here's Rob with the festival director, Thierry Frémaux. Love how he's like this King of Cannes. :D

Robert Pattinson Wallpapers: Making You The Cosmopolis Trailer Love
How excited are we? How proud are we? The reactions have been fantastic and the opinions on Rob's acting abilities continue to shift positively. We get to roll our eyes or beam because we've known it all along but it feels good to see people catching up. Rob returns to Cannes in May but this time, he's kind of a "Beau of the Ball" since Cosmopolis is in competition for the top prize - the Palme d'Or. There's so much to celebrate this May in our ROBsessed land but we're kicking it off early with the gorgeous CannesRob-themed banner by Kate (more to come too) and Marina made us these amazing wallpapers in honor of Cannes, Cosmopolis and Rob. :))
He has completely embodied Eric Packer. He does this with all his roles but watching the trailers and seeing these captures in the wallpapers, I'm forever impressed with how Rob makes the character I read comes alive like a punch in the chest.
This is beautiful. Read the quote from the novel. The galaxy-effect across his body and face works for me when I think about Eric's state of mind, state of being.
Best. Look. Ever. He's so cocksure and his exchanges with Elise were a trip. His exchanges with everyone were a trip.
I can't even with this part. If I go into how much I love this silhouette wallpaper, I'll spoil too much but know that it's one of my favorite parts in the novel and I'm SO excited to see how it's translated. Grand maître... ;)
