Seriously?

Perez Hilton has a poll, I probably shouldn't even dignify it by posting here but... well I am...

Who do U think is hotter right now????

Robert Pattinson or Zac Efron

Seriously? If that comparison doesn't make Rob run for the hills I don't know what will...

  1. Clearly, that's a total joke! Rob has about double the votes. Zac Efron is a total joke, I never got the whole thing "it" thang about him.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Me neither Lynn. He looks like Clay Aiken's long lost twin and I really tried to sit through HSM, I really did. It's SO bad :)

    ReplyDelete
  3. Perez said on the Much Music interview that he thought Rob had surpassed Efron for the best looking guy award. Well YEAH, like we didn't already know that.

I know HSM has it's own following and all but not adults. lol

    ReplyDelete
  4. Poor me, I had to sit through a field trip to HSM3 last week. My kids were much more entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  5. At least Rob is winning. Zac Efron is a bit too pretty for me.
Rob doesn't have to work so hard to look gorgeous.

    ReplyDelete
  6. hey ellie, i answered you a few entries down.. lol

    ReplyDelete
  7. Goz---you should never inflict HSM upon yourself unless you have children and have to. It's beyond bad! I would rather eat glass and gargle Drano then do that and I have kids that age.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Bella's mom is Mona and she is quite the writer---wink, wink!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hahaha.. that makes me remember an interview when the guy asked Rob what he thought about being one of Perez's guys, along with the Jonas Brothers and Zac Efron.. I think Rob just said: "I didn't know that"..

I could swear that he thought: WHAAAAAAT? I'm going back to London like, right now!

    ReplyDelete
  10. NO LYNN NO.. back away from the drano!!! Hurry kids turn off the HSM video STAT!! lmao

    ReplyDelete
  11. Mona---Vanessa Hudgens is actually my hometown's little sweetheart. She actually went to the elementary school up the hill and I still won't give HSM love. The whole franchise sickens me!

Now, Twilight is whole other story--money well spent and Rob to boot!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yeah, she played Evan Rachel Wood's little friend, right? I forgot, I guess everything comes full circle.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hi, Mona!
Got your message. Yes, I agree, these kids are hysterical sometimes (both intentionally and un-). I have SO much fun with them (well, not always, but most of the time~tough to keep a straight face sometimes when you have to be the disciplinarian and they did something so off the wall...).
    My email is norey37@yahoo.com
Would love to hear from you, too!
And glad I don't have to sound like the stuffy educator here! lol

    ReplyDelete
  14. And, now Camilla Belle, Rob's BFF is dating Joe Jonas. Now, that is something that I would imagine Rob must tease her about incessantly.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Okay it's a couple of posts down and I am so glad rob got the part of Edward but he mentions auditioning for True Blood. He is too young for that role but it made my mind wander to all the X rated scenes True Blood has and...well my mind just wandered :-)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Forget the Drano, how about a fifth of Jack??

    ReplyDelete
  17. I've never seen a HSM...doubt I ever will.
I guess its a good thing that Rob is on Perez's good side. He can be pretty damn nasty otherwise.

Oh Goz! good point about the X-rated scenes. It does make you think!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Zac Efron/HSM and The Jonas Brothers make me want to vomit. The whole goody two shoes bit is a getting a little old.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Can't see him with Anna Paquin, either. But the nude scenes I can easily visualize (Him, not her~lol).

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yes, Dana! Indeed, it's funny how suddenly the JoBros are taking gfs on vacation, Camilla accompanied them to Cabo San Lucas.

So much for goody two shoes!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dana, be glad you don't have a teenage daughter. I unfortunately can sing along with ALL the HSM songs.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Goz--my dh and I watch True Blood and it so borders on soft porn. We sometimes try to watch it with the kids up and it lasts for about 5 minutes.

No, Rob could not have pulled off the character of Bill. Bill was 30 when he morphed to immortality.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Here is my person take on this...

Comparing HSM to Twilight is like comparing Cotton Candy to Apples.

    Example:
Cotton Candy (AKA HSM)- is sweet and cutesy in a blonde teen giggly way. But to try and take a bite it dissolves into mush. And to try and eat it every day will sicken you!

Apples (AKA Twilight)- is firm yet juicy and let's you enjoy biting in for a good taste. And to eat it daily just makes you want a little more. (And no one minds a juicy chin now and then)

    I rest my case.

  24. I guess I'm glad I have boys...there are some things that I don't understand about teenage girls, even though I obviously was one at one time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I gotta hand it to the Jonas brothers though- they sure do get the chicks! It's like flavor of the week with those boys.

Ellie- yes thank God my daughter is only 2.5 months. I've got some time before I have to deal with that. But I'm sure there will be a group just as equally pukey when she is a teenager.

I'll admit when I was a teenager I went to a backstreet boys and nsync concert- BUT i didn't cry like a crazy fan girl

    ReplyDelete
  27. Mona---my sentiments exactly!

Rose---HSM is really hot around here (even with the boys). My 15 year old has friends that wasted their money on the third installment. It's garbage!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yes, Lynn...HSM seems to be really big around here, too. I'm kinda wondering how big Twilight will be here. Seems pretty low key so far, but then again, it is Wisconsin! :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Goz---which post about the True Blood audition? Now, I am trying to imagine Rob as Bill---ay, dios mio! But, he and Anna Paquin would not have any chemistry. She's a bit irritating---but very Sookie.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Lucky me, I'm taking 7 teens (6 girls, 1 boy) to THE MOVIE on Fridy; they'd better behave themselves! Don't want anybody to interfere with my fantasies...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Rose--I forgot that you're in Wisconsin...that sounds so far away. Twilight is everywhere in SoCal, it's taking our minds off of the fires.

I have to ask, do Wisconsin peeps have that curious accent?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lynn, it's towards the bottom of the front page. We post too much, stuff gets lost :-(((

    http://www.robsessedpattinson.com/2008/11/robert-pattinsons-twilight-brings-dawn.html

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ellie--kindred! I discussed the Twilight midnight showing last night with Audrey and her friend and we will be going about 4 hours early. Her friend says that our local theater will be showing it in five auditortiums.

    ReplyDelete
  34. LOL Lynn! Honestly, I don't know anyone who talks like they usually show on TV. I actually find it very amusing.

Maybe "Breaking Dawn" will be a little more like True Blood? lol.
Dammit now I can't stop thinking about this....

    ReplyDelete
  35. I will have to look later,,,having too much fun! Now, I would kill to hear Rob say (in a sultry Southern/Cajun accent), "Sookie is mine". Geezus, the fantasies will creeping in tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow busy ladies. Rose you summed it up exactly right. I just dont understand where these comparrisons come from? Zach is going to melt away and Rob is sticking string as a serious actor. I mean yeah the HSM movies got big, but those kids aren't going anywhere fast. No no!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thanks Goz!

Ellie, I feel for ya girl.. lol
I am taking 6 girls with me but I have another mom wanting to go to, so we will sit where we want and let the girls sit away from us, so that way I can at least hear the movie (I hope) lol. I have taken these girls before and they sit and whisper through the whole show. So there is NO WAY I'm sitting by them. I'd rather hear Rob.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I meant Mona. Goodness thus gets confusing with all the posts.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Rose---I love that accent, I guess it's kind of the stereotype thing that ppl tend to latch on to.

Jewels has told me that I sound very Californian....we tend to use a lot of slang, talk fast and use like for every other word.

    Annoying at best!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hey lynn, I would wager that jewels would volunteer to help him work on his southern accent. hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  41. Mona---LOL the horizontal accent that Rob would need in the bathroom.

    Cougartastic!

    Hello, Ms. Dani!

    ReplyDelete
  42. You guys are kinda lucky to be taking girls. I'm going with my husband and brother in law and his girlfriend. How am I supposed to control myself everytime Rob is on the screen?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Dana---wow, you're lucky that your husband will go with you. My daughter and I bonded with reading Twilight together, so, it's only fitting that we go together.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I can see it now...

jewels: "Repeat after me... yes ma'am, whatever you say ma'am."

Rob: "Are you sure a southern vampah would say it like that?"

jewels: "Oh yes! Deffinately! now let me hear you say it, outloud!"

Rob: (blushing) "yes ma'am, whatever you say ma'am" "um, are you sure my trousers unzip now?"

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh I'm going first by myself. My hub only wants to go to make fun of me. He says I need rehab for blogging.

But the first time I go I dont want anyone ruining it for me with talking, my best friend wants to go too but she never stops talking so I have to have a foundation of watching to go on.

Lynn you do sound a bit Californian but not in a bad wat whatsoever.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I guess I didn't realize that Californians had an accent. Sounds charming though!

As much as I want to see Twilight as SOON as it comes out...I am pretty sure that I would get really annoyed with the screaming. And you know they will scream. Hell, they scream at everything.
And I really REALLY want to hear Rob's sexy voice...every word.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Lynn- I've talked about Twilight so much he doesn't even need to read the book. And when he saw the trailer he said it actually looked ok. But he still thinks I'm crazy and I don't think he knows about my Robsession!

That's so nice that you and your daughter bonded over it. I can't wait til my daughter is old enough for us to do things like that.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Dani---my dh would so make fun of me...lots of side glances and rolling of the eyes.

I know I sound Californian...I once had one of my husband's friends compare me to Margret Cho. Yeah, that kind of pissed me off!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Dana---Audrey never read recreationally until Twilight and she read first in about four days. I was relieved and we raced to see who finished first. She found the legends of the Quilleute boring, but, she read them.

Now, she thinks my obsession is weird and the Rob even weirder.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am actually flying to chicago to see the movie with my best friend (who I is as obsessed about Twilight as I am and I recruited her to Twilight :-).

BUT I am not sure about the first night. I will seriously kick some teen ass if they scream. Just watching the videos makes me so mad. and I can't stand screaming people :-(

    ReplyDelete
  51. Priceless, Mona!

    "say it, outloud!"

    ReplyDelete
  52. It depends on which part of the South Rob would come from. Hi Mona, Lynn! Ya'll are cracking me up. I can do a great east texas accent and a perfect georgia peach accent.

I just practiced saying unzip your trousers in both, and it's definately Texas! LOL!

    True Blood looks good tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Goz---that sounds like a lot of fun. My friend might come, but, I keep razzing her about not reading the book. Yes, the fangurlz will be my biggest vice...I will be the one shooing everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Course I'm digging on Jackson's natural southern accent. His hotness scale keeps moving on up!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Lynn, Katie's the one who got me into the books. I resisted for so long, then finally caved. I owe my daughter my life for this!!!lol
    Lots of bonding here, too.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Jewels----Cajun accents melt me like butter (or butta). Harry says it's the weirdest accent ever. His family is from Georgia and Alabama...so, he just too used to them.

    ReplyDelete
  57. My twilight posse and I are going while most of the teenies are in school. Then when the DVD version comes out, we should all have a similtaneaous watching party and blog while it's on! Could be hilarious! We'd have figure out a good day and time zones...

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ellie---I know I thank Audrey for it, too. I just refuse to call myself a TwiMom...I draw the line!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I wasn't going to go the first night either for fear of shreaking girls but I figure it's going to be bad the whole opening weekend so I'm just gonna suck it up and go Friday night. Plus now that it's less than a week away I don't think I could wait until next monday or tuesday.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Lynn, same with me. I'm worse than my daughter. She's sick of hearing me gush about it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think I need to see the movie alone, first. I'm not sure how I will react (OK, I know I won't SCREAM) and I don't wanna look too silly...

    ReplyDelete
  62. OMIGOD Lynn, I just read your bathroom comment. I don't usually blush, but I think I might be right now....

    ReplyDelete
  63. Jewels---Jackson's accent is mouthwatering, he is just blazing hot. I would love to hear his version of Creep that he sang to SM.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Jewels---you are my idol on that part and YOU will never live that one down!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Seriously, that is one freaky talented cast. Steph gonna be feeling the pressure to finish Midnight Sun. Legions will be screaming for it.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Got to make dinner~~hope to come back on soon

    ReplyDelete
  67. Whew! I think I need a martini and a Boniva break! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Jewels- my sister-in-law heard somewhere that SM may finish Midnight Sun and it will be ready by May of 2009. Has anyone else heard this. It seems too good to be true.

    ReplyDelete
  69. lol hey jewels, bout time ya made it!

well let's see, I was raised in East Texas on a ranch, we travelled doing bridge construction all over Louisianna, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas, and now I live in Central Texas which is a complete different dialect than East Texas. lol So I will volunteer to be your assistant jewels. hehehe I think we can cover any southern accent between all us here on this blog.

and lynn, awww chere' com on down heyah and we gonna show you some coonass luvin!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I don't know, I read the entry in EW this week that Steph said she is feeling the pressure....

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ellie---I imagine TwiMoms in mom jeans, running shoes, and teeshirts proclaiming, "Team Edward" and "Edward dazzles me". BLEH! I want to be the exact opposite!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hey My Darlin Miss Mona, care to join me on the porch for some tea?

We can dream up ideas for Rob's southern debut.

    ReplyDelete
  73. well yes ma'am and I will make sure to bring the smellin salts in case you get me too flustered!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Jewels---SM kind of hinted towards it in the unscripted interviews. She will probably be in a better place by the end of this year.

Off to clean and to get dinner ready!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I would imagine them to all breathe a little easier after Twilight actually makes it's entrance.

They asked Catherine if she would like to make the same movie in Edward's point of view and she said there were some outtakes that she included in the extra disk that are deffinately from Midnight Sun and she did it on purpose.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I am an expert at flustering myself! I'm not sure how much I could fluster Rob...

    ReplyDelete
  77. Fluster Rob...that almost sounds dirty when I say it...

    ReplyDelete
  78. lol jewels, You go girl! Fluster him all ya want.. I would actually LOVE to see that!!!

    ReplyDelete
  79. I, myself, plan to wear my HSM
    t-shirt to Twilight~ hahahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  80. Lynn I just caught the Margaret Cho thing. Yeah no, I wouldnt like that either.

ellie I think I will wear my Team Shut The Fuck Up During This Movie Or I Will Slap Your Tween Ass, shirt. What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Thank you, M'dear!
Okay, I've REALLY got to cook dinner
(I just keep sneaking back here...)

    ReplyDelete
  82. LOVE IT, Lynn.
you ladies crack me up!(oops, at first I wrote "laidies"--Rob might like that...
    okay, dinner...

    ReplyDelete
  83. Dani, I think we all need shirts like that!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Just got off Facebook. Tess says to tell everyone she'll be over soon!

    ReplyDelete
  85. I WILL BUY THAT SHIRT DANI ;) Sign me up, lol
