Me-I was more of I guess a punker though. 2nd hand store clothes/ side of my head shaved. Still have the same mentality though. Every scary looking punk I knew was by far the most accepting caring people I ever knew. I see punk looking kids now and they kind of give me a sideways look and in my head I'm like if you only knew..........Don't let my Mommy Exterior fool you.
Lisa, I went through a punk stage as well. Crew cut shaved hair in the back, long bangs dyed blue that hung over my eyes, pale make up with black lipstick and I rocked the Anarchy jacket!
I show those pics to my kids and tell them "That's your real mother!"
I used to work with an older woman who was extremely superstitious, and whenever she saw a pic where one eye was closing faster than the other when the flash went off, like Rob's left eye in this pic, she called it an "Impish Eye" and said it meant luck and humility. I'd say she was spot on for Rob wouldn't you?

They've asked Chris Weitz, director of American Pie, About a Boy, and The Golden Compass, to join us, and I am very pleased to announce that he's agreed to be a part of our Twilight world. I've had the chance to talk to Chris, and I can tell you that he is excited by the story and eager to keep the movie as close to the book as possible. He is also very aware of you, the fans, and wants to keep you all extremely happy.

The effects in The Golden Compass were really good especially the bear fight scene. So I am hoping he will be able to make the werewolves look realistic. I am excited to see what he comes up with.
Yeah I have faith in this guy. I think he will do a fine job. From here on out the series has to be pretty spectacular and it sounds like he totally recognizes that :) I'm happy the director drama is over with.
And thanks Emily! I have more shopping to do still so i'm going to try and get it done tonight if I can. And maybe see Twilight again...lol - I have a friend who hasn't seen it yet and well that is just not acceptable, lol

Hey Lynn! I wasn't able to catch up with all the comments from yesterday so I don't know if this has been answered. Is Rob still in LA or has he been able to go back to London? I really, really hope he's either already back home or will be soon. Poor guy needs some down time before PPB in January and then New Moon in March.
Good question, Mona. Maybe he was hoping for an audition. We know he's been out of work, er I mean "in between" jobs for a while now. Or maybe he has a man crush on Rob - I certainly wouldn't blame him.

My flatmate and I just finished decorating our Xmas tree. It took ages! And now we're laughing 'cause she's going to home for 2 weeks next Monday and I'm gonna fly home for 2 weeks this Friday. So, our little tree will be home alone! BAHAHAAA..
Ellie---Holy Moses Malone! That sounds cold! We had an artic freeze come through about two years ago and the night temps got down in to the 20's...that is rare for us.
Lynn--No real lake effect, just effing cold, and some wind chill factor in there.It's gotten down to 0 some nights, but not yet this year. It sucks if the pipes freeze.
Summit's also getting major butt hickies from HT...I hate that place. I always felt like they're sell outs peddling stuff in the malls...takes away from all the mom and pop record stores and head shops.
We have two indie owned record shops in my immediate vicinity. They are unfreakingbelivable! They have some of the best old vinyl ever! Plus really hot, under the radar stuff....
We have two down south (closer to Miss Cherifire) that I haven't been to in years...I love seeing old vinyl but I wouldn't even have anything to play them on!
I want to get old Metallica stuff on vinyl and some AIC stuff too, but we don't have a record player stashed anywhere. They would still be good collectibles.

I looked at the price on the bottom...and it said it was made in Turkey. Awwww made me think of Goz, I giggled a little and looked like a crazy person but I knew what was up.
