Yeah I wanted to post something before I got to busy with stuff. I won't be on until later so hopefully this keeps people satiated.
Cool thing though, when I searched Envy magazine Robert Pattinson on Google to see if there was any more pics our site came up with the post of the scans. Yeah like on the second entry of the page.
We are big business. Not really it was probably a fluke but still kinda cool.
I like this picture of Rob and got a kick out of "Fire" above his head. That can be applied in so many ways. I haven't been able to post in a few days so wanted to say how much I love the new banner and Congrats Goz & Dani on Robsessed and Google, that's so cool!
Hey, Karla, Kari and Dana! I talked to Dani and she said that she would be on later on tonight...it's barely 7:30 for us West Coast ladies! How is everyone?
Yep, it's still early for us. All my kids are in bed and I'm thinking about having a drink or two (mostly because of all the "gift" drinks I've received on FB, ha ha).
I wish all my kids were sleeping. It's 10:30 and my son will not go to sleep. He missed his normal nap time today because he got his haircut and didn't get to sleep until 3:30 and now his schedule is completely off. At least my daughter is asleep though.
It was good, I got on the 7am flight so I didn't have to spend a bunch of time at the airport. The flight seemed to last forever because it took awhile to take off because so many planes were leaving at the same time. I'm exhausted, I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night and my attempts to sleep on the plane didn't work.
Dana---ugh, an well rested two year old can be rather disconcerting late at night...do you have Christmas DVD? My kiddos are suckers for old Christmas movies!
Sleeping on a plane is almost impossible unless you are doped up...my ears get plugged up so I rarely try. Males can do it well...my dh and son sleep like they're in comas on airplanes.

Men it seems can sleep anywhere. My hubby Jim can fall asleep in 2 minutes. It takes me about 30 minutes. I think women have too many things running through their minds.
Yeah I was really glad I got the early flight! My mom picked me up at the airport and we headed straight to the mall. We also got our tree about halfway decorated.
Karla---my desktop is shared by the family and dh wouldn't like to view Rob on a consistent. Right now, every time there's any remotely Brit looking guy on television...he yells out, "there's your boy".
I have no problem sleeping in my dad's truck, I think the sound of a diesel engine does the trick. I was sitting right above the plane engine today and it didn't have the same effect.
Dani told me that there was a rumor floating around (I think on IMDB) that Rob was seen making out with Camilla Belle at the Chateau Marmont. But, there are no pics or anything to validate anything. Most likely just a figment of someone's imagination!

Lynn- your husband sounds just like mine. I made the comment last night that I wanted to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and he's started laughing at me cause he knows Brad Pitt is in it. If he only knew that Brad Pitt is past and Rob is present and future!!

The rumor came from KROQ who reported it on their morning show. You can go to their site and hear it. But yeah it was told to them apparently but its a load of bullshit if you ask me.
There is no proof thus far which seems suspect, something would have come out by now. So no real meat behind the story.
Personally, I like Camilla. I like the look on her face when they are together...but the Jonas Brothers thing made me go "WHAT!!!" in my best Rob imitation ever!

I was at Target and saw the cutest leg warmers for babies and toddlers. They were pink with silver threads. Brought back some fun memories for me. I adored my leg warmers. I think I need to get some for Mallory just for some cute pictures :) There was even a little pink and sliver matching tulle skirt. God, I love having girls!
Need I mention the true awful 80s trend - stirrup pants. AHHHHH! those were the WORST. Yes, let's all wear pants that make our legs look the same width from hip to ankle - hot stuff!
I had the big Madonna lace bows in my hair...the fingerless gloves (lace no less along with the lace leggings!), short flouncy skirts, layered t-shirts, crucifixes, rubber bracelets...ankle boots paired with frilly ankle socks...

And yes, I did get a perm (about 3 or 4) from my mom at home. I hated them with a passion and cried every time. Why the hell did she do that to me? Her and I were having a laugh about that the other day and she said, "Oh, they were cute." NOT!!!

I'm really sad that I can't take bass lessons anymore now that I'm in college, my bass teacher, Brian, is one of my best friends. It's really cool to be able to connect with people through music.

I hate shopping for people when you have to worry about what they will get you. You don't want to get them something lavish when they don't get you much and then they feel bad and you don't want to get them something little when they get you something big. Gift giving can be way too complicated.

My parent used to put sex wax in my stocking every Christmas because I surfed since a teen and I always thought that was so odd and funny, my parents putting sex wax in there.
Lukas is an adopted dog, he was homeless and some guys from this pet adoption center found him walking alone in the street. He was a puppy! I was a volunteer in said pet adoption center and I fell in love with him immediately. Love at first sight :) He's been with me 2 and a half years.
Yes. I came out my door running with my dogs and turned the corner and a cute little three year old blond boy is standing there. He wandered from far off. There isn't a house close to my house. It was the most shocking thing to see this little three year old boy there.

Then I see a golf cart go by my fence and it's his grandfather looking for him. I found out his name is Corbin and he's three years old. He wandered off and was exploring and found my place to hang out, I guess.
That's very scary! Some of my younger cousins would hide in department stores and give my aunts heart attacks because they couldn't find them, but they were never that far away.

I was at Target and saw the cutest leg warmers for babies and toddlers. They were pink with silver threads. Brought back some fun memories for me. I adored my leg warmers. I think I need to get some for Mallory just for some cute pictures :) There was even a little pink and sliver matching tulle skirt. God, I love having girls!

LOL Jules---I tried to explain that movie, Career Opportunities, to Harry about how Frank Whaley's character worked in Target. I couldn't believe that he didn't remember Jennifer Connelly in that movie...total classic!

I can't live without music but I have zero musical skills :( that's sad 'cause my dad and my little sister are drummers, my bro is a guitar player and his wife sings like an angel. You don't want to get them something lavish when they don't get you much and then they feel bad and you don't want to get them something little when they get you something big. Gift giving can be way too complicated.

ReplyDeleteMy parent used to put sex wax in my stocking every Christmas because I surfed since a teen and I always thought that was so odd and funny, my parents putting sex wax in there.
ReplyDeleteLukas is an adopted dog, he was homeless and some guys from this pet adoption center found him walking alone in the street. He was a puppy! I was a volunteer in said pet adoption center and I fell in love with him immediately. Love at first sight :) He's been with me 2 and a half years.

He wandered off and was exploring and found my place to hang out, I guess.
That's very scary! Some of my younger cousins would hide in department stores and give my aunts heart attacks because they couldn't find them, but they were never that far away.
