  1. He made my book list bigger.

I wonder if the sales of those books will be bigger now. Hmm.

  2. I wonder too...hmmm he does have some seriously great taste I have read a few of the books and some of them I need to look into. He's an intellectual, that is very sexy.

  3. I have never even heard of those books to be honest, but I was looking for new things to read. I was stuck re-reading things like Wuthering Heights (which I love, but I need something new).

So now I just need to go to the USA to buy me some books.

  4. Hopefully I'll be able to read some of these after next week when I go home for winter break. It will be nice to read for enjoyment rather than reading text books.

  5. I am reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand...its one of my faves and The Fountainhead is another good one by her. Atlas is HUGE but an awesome book. I heard at one point they were making it into a movie with Angelina playing the lead character of Dagny Taggart. Hmmmmm it would make an interesting movie that is for sure. And I love me some Angie.

  6. I always forget to look for the Fountainhead. I remember that in one of my favorite books (the perks of being a wallflower) the english teacher makes Charlie read it.

I guess I'll have to wiki all this books, til I get money to actually buy them :(

  8. Copied from last post:

Oh I forgot he also said about "New moon" and that he wasn't in it very much and that he hoped that wouldn't change but he could see a few people getting their fingers in the pie!
ANd that a fanfew all the way from Brazil last night for the premiere and that he felt like he should ask her to come home with him (he was kidding) LOL

  12. i was looking up a christmas gift for my daughter on amazon and it did one of those "people who searched for things you've searched for in the past bought these things" list and it had a bunch of twi merchandise plus ivans xtc (that movie he mentions a lot) and virgil's doomed love. i think people are paying attention to what he mentions and then reading/listening/watching as much as they can. rob's got some influence!

i was obsessed with the rachel papers by martin amis when i was a teenager but haven't read any of his stuff since. maybe i'll try "money."

my husband is a massive dennis potter fan. bet "ticket to ride" is in the house somewhere. and hubs was just telling me about 2666. it's got very cool cover art.

no wonder i love rob- he's a lot like my husband! except he's old enough to be rob's dad! lol

  13. I love his brain!

eclectic taste for someone so young (feeling old and a bit unsophisticated here)

I read a book review on 2666 not to long ago, and I was befuddled just after the review!

If I ever ran into him somewhere, I'd be afraid to open my mouth...and probably just twirl my hair!
