  16. Ok one more comment, most of you are to young to remember but there was a show Mystery Science Theater 3000 that ran from 1988 to 1999.

The series features a man and his robot sidekicks who are trapped on a satellite in space by an evil scientist and forced to watch a selection of terrible movies, especially (but not initially limited to) science fiction B-movies. To keep sane, the man and his robots make a running commentary on the film, making fun of its flaws and wisecracking (or "riffing") their way through the film in the style of a movie theater peanut gallery.

That is what this video reminds me of.

  22. Keely, I have listened to this commentary all day. I have no shame. LOL

Rob imitating Hardwicke at the end is FTW. It's so awesome.

It's funny, though. If you listen to the entire commentary (yes, I have no ethics...but at least I pre-ordered the DVD, so I paid for it, lol) I found there to be some pretty uncomfortable moments. Maybe I'm reading too much beneath the surface, but I thought that Hardwicke kinda takes a hit from Rob and Kristen in a couple of places. I don't wanna spoil it for anyone who hasn't listened to the entire thing, but every time a mistake in the movie is pointed out, I feel kinda bad for CH.

Then again, I couldn't stand her direction, and am thanking the GODS that Summit got Weitz for the second film.

I <3 the way he says "bouffant".

  26. Anon - SNL HAS to realize his comic ability. Please Rob - please do SNL!!!!!

  27. This is seriously hilarious! I love the way he says "bouffant" - it just sounds so much better/funnier when he says it. And my other favorite things he says:

    - "Wow, he's a superhuman moron"
    - "That's a little bit saucyyyyy"
    - "Glued it down with Glitter Glue"
    - "Sometimes I think I look like I've had facial reconstructive surgery" (although he's completely delusional if he thinks his face looks weird, it's still effing hilarious that he said it)

  28. Crazy - OMG just thinking about Rob on SNL makes me smile big time. That would be priceless!
