According to Contact Music :
ROBERT PATTINSON is planning his music career - he wants to work with British singer WILL YOUNG.
The Twilight star has frequently mentioned his love for music, insisting it is a career backup plan should his film roles dry up.
And Pattinson, who sang on the vampire movie's soundtrack and has performed impromptu gigs in London, is keen to move into the pop genre and duet with the Leave Right Now hitmaker.
He says, "Will has a great voice and it would blend really well with mine but I bet he has no idea who I am. But you never know.
Gozde: Do I believe he said this? Well he says a lot of stuff and Will does have a great voice so you never know :))
Thanks to Rocio for the tip :)
How can anyone not know who Rob is at this point? I hope he does cont his singing career. I personally love his voice.
ReplyDeleteI love his voice as well. He's hot AND multi-talented :
ReplyDeleteI wonder too if Rob actually said this. But ya never kno...
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear more music from Rob. Unlike a few other actors who have tried to do both, I feel he can actually make it work for him. He has an amazing voice.
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure I see Rob wanting to work with a former Pop Idol winner. I get the feeling he wants to go for the artsy/underground approach...
ReplyDeleteHowever, Will is pretty charming and actually rather good, so why not!
I agree with you Tess. He has an amazing voice and I think he will do well in either career.
ReplyDeleteI bet in an interview a reporter asked, "Would you ever do a duet with someone, say, Will Young?" and Robert answered that way - if he really said that.
ReplyDeleteSomehow, I SRSLY doubt any validity to this quote.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Amobley. For some reason I just can not imagine that...
ReplyDeleteyep...doesn't sound very robbish. I do wish he follows through with the production company idea...I'm sure he'd get a kick out of producing cds for all his friends...good music, lotsa beer, rob singing drunk...good times people!
ReplyDeleteAnother person on the Rob bandwagon.
ReplyDeleteTess, Melissa~Yeah, I love his voice, too. I think it is sooo sad that he avoids open mics now. When you listen to him it is obvious how cathartic singing is for him.
I think Rob is this generations IT guy. He's multifaceted and has his fans going crazy over him. someone asked me what I liked about him and I just kept going and going. the person started cracking up. Said "you've never even met the guy, and you talk about him like he was your 'buddy.'" LMAO. Here are my adjectives: Intelligent, talented, hilarious, sensitive, dedicated, not full of himself, down to earth, dorky, nerdy, tall, sexy, smokin, adorable, sexy voice/accent, human, manly, scruffy, beautiful, gorgeous hair, hands, jaw-line, body lines, eyes, lips, smile, silly, entertaining, keeps to himself, Not a player (even though he totally could be), grounded, a loner (like me!), articulate, endearing, charming, Artsy, versatile actor, and appreciates his fans. What did I leave out? lol
ReplyDeleteI spent years in the music industry. Rob didn't say this. Honestly, the hype is rediculous!
ReplyDeleteHe's an incredible musical talent and I'll bet the music moguls are slavering over the prospects of promoting HIM ;)
He's a gold record mine!
