I love this site. You girls ROCK!! biology scene is "out of control" Who says ROB is gay? There are quite a few times he sneaks a grab at Kristen..I bet she loves it.
Loved the last scene but I think they should have kept it in as a daydream of his showing his blood lust. Also wished that a magazine did a photo shoot of them like how they were doing the vintage Dracula thing. I thought she really looked pretty, Rob was kinda hot, and the darkness of it just kind of popped.

Wow, that was a (gasp)surprise! The DVD just keeps getting better and better. I know someone at a convention asked Peter what he whispered in Rob's ear before he bit him, but I've never heard the answer. Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
However...i think Catherine should have read Midnight Sun. To me, this movie showed she had some confused ideas about Edward's feelings regarding Bella. Some of this deleted stuff is just gratuitous.
But this movie and it's deleted scenes is the means to an end for me. I get to see Rob in action!!!! I'm all tingly now, to put it mildly!!!!
Somebody explain to me why a scene like this would even take place in this movie.
The classmates are not reacting, so it's supposed to be a dream or thought. Whose? Bella would imagine Edward was a vampire? Certainly not at that point. Edward's imagination? The whole movie was Bella's POV, and perspective.
OR, maybe this was filmed just for the DVD? That makes more sense. Would also explain the boob grab. Not sure how i feel about that.
That said, I WANT ROB'S HAND ON MY BOOB! uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

It's not clear to me that he was grabbing her boob - or meaning to have his hand there. I really think it was a fluke that his hand slid under her top shirt...
Maybe someone will ask him or Kristen, or Catherine about that soon!

I don't think the hand-in-the-shirt is a fluke at all. I think it was probably Rob, springing from a deep understanding of Edward's character, who talked Catherine into doing this. In an interview with Shaun from Access Hollywood he said that he thinks the fascination with vampires has a lot to do with the connection between sex and death. She agreed with him and I also agree. Look what a POWERFUL response it elicited from all of us!
Totally agree with those who think this is an expression of Midnight Sun ... during Biology Edward is thinking that he can kill everyone in the entire classroom before they even realize it, so it makes sense that none of the students have noticed what is going on. Also, that planaria on the board is a very strong phallic symbol. I think the scene "works" very nicely.
