Bravo Portugal Scans

I LOVE the picture they chose for the cover. Rob looks shocked/pissed in it :) Seriously, who are the "art" directors that choose these photos? They should consider a career change :)
Look at little Robbie (don't look at the above picture, you perv! I'm talking about the picture of young Rob below) :) I think they are talking about which schools he attended and the pubs he visits? I know zero Portuguese :)
Oh look, there's a map! Is this "stalker's guide to Rob in London"? Maybe that's why he looked so shocked/pissed in the cover. Himmm...

Thanks to Sunshine and Robert Pattinson Portugal for sharing their scans :)

Alunitza translated it for us:

Nobody but him can show you one of the most exciting towns in the world. London is very special and through his hands you can find out some of the places that are part of his life. This London boy lives in the beautiful neighborhood of Barnes, in the south-east of the capital. There is where he grew up, attended a wonderful school, the Harrodian School, with a pool and everything. (Alinutza: WTF???). What he likes most was the Dramatic Arts, that's why he started making his first steps into the theater company in his neighborhood. The Barnes&Noble (Gozde: LMAO! Really? I thought it was Barnes Theatre Company :))theater, to which he has a lot to thank. Robert was a true artist and, loyal to his instinct, he loved the cultural part. In his free time he used to take a walk in the London Soho, a place full of pubs, where he was seen more than once playing the guitar with his band, Bad Girls. "I would never move from this city, I adore London." he said. And we adore you, Rob. :-)
CRAP!!!

Gozde: I think the "CRAP!!!" and the "we adore you Rob:)" parts were added by Alina :)

The second one: This is the street of Barnes where he lives, despite the fact that he spends more time in LA, where the big stars are. But he would never give up his native London.

The third one: Barnes, the neighborhood of Rob, is a spectacular place. It's placed near a wonderful lake. We would adore to see it. Viewed from above, it looks like a postal stamp, don't you think?

  1. Yet again that cover pic is overly airbrushed..wtf is wrong with these ppl?? I hate this overly photoshopped/airbrushed covers.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Wow, if looks could kill I'd be lying on the floor. He looks so over it, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yeap stalkers guide to London. Guess there's a few more places to go on the list of where he "WON'T" be going anymore. I mean seriously do they NEED to print this stuff??

    ReplyDelete
  4. i do like the picture above lol. hes just showing us some zipper loveeee!

maryann i don't like overly photoshopped/airbrushed covers really, but its good for some people. rob definitely doesn't need it and it just hides how beautiful he really is! besides i like him rugged and scruffy looking.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Oh Love I totally understand why some ppl has to be airbrushed/photoshopped and also sometimes the lighting goes a bit wrong etc...stuff that CAN be fixed in airbrushing/photoshopping but lately I find it being overused just about everywhere.

Also I think that unfortunately they showed a stalker's map of London and all the places Rob have/still am visiting when he is in London. Crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  6. OK took a closer look, seems to me they show a couple of places he has been to (I can strangely read some tiny bit of Portuguese as I had Spanish in school so I get the gist of it so to speak. Mostly they showed his school, a pup he probably went to, then the theatre he was in a play in I guess...and something about Soho...I guess he likes to hang out there but the area is big so not really a single place pointed out. Also seems like they mention a record studio where Coldplay also records? Maybe he recorded there with his buddies? I dunno.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Ok, i'm gonna try to translate a bit but my english is not very good...

First they show his private school, then they talk about the theatre were he stars his career, were he enjoy concerts of his favorite bands like coldplay and Soho were he played. The third page it's about his lovely neighborhood and how much Rob loves London and walking in it's streets

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thank you Sunshine :)

I can offer insights into the pics.

They would not really help a "stalker", as anyone can find Barnes or the Harrodian School or the Olympic Studios :)

Those houses in Barnes look over the river -- they are very sought after :) Where it says bus stopp and then the is the pavement/sidewalk, to the left of there is the River Thames. It is right next to Barnes Bridge train station.

I know nothing about The Golden Lion at Dean St and Romilly Street -- does it imply that he goes to that pub, or just that he hangs out in Soho?

If you hang out in Soho, you WILL see a famous person or two. Not necessarily Rob, but definitely a pop star or a charachter actor or two......

    ReplyDelete
  9. In the Golden Lion pic the text box just says that Rob loves the most bohemian sites. Nothing in particular about that pub.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Aah not so bad then;-)
Thanks Maryann, Sunshine and Anon. I was hopin they weren't gonna be giving exactly locations that would just be lousy!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yeah, not a stalker map but my first reaction was that too.

    ReplyDelete
  12. So, the article sounds like this:
Nobody but him can show you one of the most exciting towns in the world. London is very special and through his hands you can find out some of the places that are part of his life. This London boy lives in the beautiful neighborhood of Barnes, in the south-east of the capital. "I would never move from this city, I adore London." he said. And we adore you, Rob. :-)
    CRAP!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Thanks Maryann, Sunshine and Anon. Glad it's not as stalkeriffic as it looks. What you described sounds like a cool place with a cool vibe. Not a surprise Rob would hang there.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeah Alinutza Cris, that pool's part it's kind of stupid but portuguese schools don't usual have pools maybe that's why...

    ReplyDelete
  15. The picture with the bus: Rob adores to walk on the city streets. He's a freedom lover.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes girls!
    Nothing new here!
    School!
On the 3º page shows where is/was his apartament.
The mag is showing a little about his past!
Resume: Rob lived in a very nice place before fame!
    Thanks for posting Goz!

    ReplyDelete
  17. It was The Barnes Theatre Company...... NOTHING to do with Barnes and Noble, hahah!!

    Is B&N a USA bookstore?

    ReplyDelete
  18. And what Danni said -- yes Barnes is a LOVELY area of London, they have not even shown the best bits -- the duck pond and the pretty village like high street.

Funny that they got mixed up with Barnes & Noble......

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yep, Barnes&Nobles. That's what they say.
This is a piece of s#&@. Sad, but true.

    ReplyDelete
  20. http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/store/2555

    Nothing to do with Rob!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wasn't that pub were he was coming out from and walking beside him was those two stalker girls with those awful fur coats on in Soho? That pub is real exclusive(celebrity and higher ups) membership only, and you have to sign in.

Another time Rob was I think in Soho when Bobby Long played at a pub or something. I think Rob was in Soho a lot hanging out at pubs from the fan encounters I saw back in January.

And that cover shoot is from another magazine. I'm thinking it was Cosmo girl... I know I saw the behind the scenes video for that shoot. So their stealing cover shoots...

    ReplyDelete
  22. LOL they can't do better! They have a very small budget. The Portuguese Bravo director said that she and the staff made manually every gift that comes with the magazine. That's even more sad!

    ReplyDelete
  23. They aren't stealing cover shoots. They buy the rights of the photo. Not every country can affort have a photoshoot with him...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Next summer I will probably visit London and I can`t think of a better person than Rob as a tourist guide. Okay, it`s time to stop daydreaming!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Alin- Thanks for giving us the full understanding. Wow...it does look beautiful...pool and everything...

SG- Barnes&Nobles....girl I was thinking the same thing for a second, but I understood what they meant...LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  26. Barnes has a duck pond NOT a lake!!!!

    *giggles*

That third pic (aerial) is NOT Barnes.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah, no they don't steal the pictures. Every picture that appears on magazines are for sale.

Magazine business is hard. The ads don't pay much.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Just thinking -- the aerial pics could be The Wetlands Center in Barnes.

It is a kind of nature reserve.....

    ReplyDelete
  29. I love Portuguese and I thought you were kind of "damsels in distress" so helping you was my pleasure. By the way, my name is Alina :) Alin is the male name :))

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hi Goz, bb. May I send you some stuff I found? Not sure if I should just copy and paste links on here.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Wetland Centre link.....

    http://www.wwt.org.uk/centre/119/visit/wetlandcentre/.html

    ReplyDelete
  32. MP and SS- That is sad...and yeah pictures get bought here too. You do what you can do in order for it to work out.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Am I not supposed to post links -- sorry.....

    ReplyDelete
  34. Thanks Alina :))

    Divine: send them over: robsessedpattinson@gmail.com

I may not get back to you till tomorrow though, I am not feeling very well. I've been nauseous and throwing up. I think I'm carrying Robward's baby :))

    ReplyDelete
  35. unless they are links to Lainey or porn :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. no Summer girl it's cool I think. a lot of us do it. But I want to send Goz a crap load of stuff. And I don't think posting each individual link is appropriate on this thread. Unless she doesn't mind. Perhaps an email would be better.

    ReplyDelete
  37. the part with "we adore you Rob" was their final line. :) This is the ONLY part where I agree with them.
and yes, the "CRAP" is my opinion about their so called "article".

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh no honey buns, I hope you feel better! =)

But LMAO, does he know yet??? bwaaaahhaaaaa

    No lainey or porn. promise.

Ok i'll send. =) and post some here as well. cool beans.

    ReplyDelete
  39. SG- Just looked at the different part of the wetlands on that site. It looks really nice and a great place to explore.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Okies :)

This is just an area I know really well, I used to work there, and if it were an area I did not know, I would want the inside scoop.

So I kinda wanted to give you guys the heads up :)

  42. Feel better Goz *hugs*

I have never been the The Wetlands. It is 9.50 to get in, that is quite expensive!!!

Barnes village is LOVELY though, and the river :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Goz- For real...what's going on? You keep getting headaches and now you your throwing up. Slow down and don't work so hard because we don't want to loose you...

    ReplyDelete
  44. That pic is of this place:

    Chateau Theatre
    15 First Street SW
    Rochester
    MN 55902

So -- where is it please?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Love that pic of him as a little boy :)

Does anyone know why he got expelled please?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Y'all I think after our bus trip to Vancouver we need to hook a hard right(wait that sounds wrong)...lol...and go to the Wetlands.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Gah, Bravo mag has always (and will always) suck.

    ReplyDelete
  48. SG- As much as that boy talk...that's one thing he refuses to talk about. So ummm....I find that interesrting...dirty little secret...

  50. LOL! I hope Rob is also having a good laugh at this! Barnes & Noble? THIS is yet another example of why you can't believe everything you read! OK??

Gozde~ way to go girl! LOL! Can I be your nanny? This way Rob and I can hook up when you go out shopping or whatever...hee hee. (p.s. I've used this one before, sorry :/)

    ReplyDelete
  51. OOPS - got a little "distracted" there.......feel better Gozde!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Shani -- See you at The Wetlands, actually, I bet Rob does not really hang out there, like I said it costs nearly ten pounds to get in :)

So if you do come over, just head to the nearest pubs in Barnes, there are only about 10 of them!!!

    Or Soho :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Thanks for the info about the school expulsion.....mmmmmm, interesting.

Anyhoo, he seemed to do okay at The Harrodian, and how lucky was he to find an agent so easily....

    I'm waiting your e-mail, honey!!!
    Let's have a goog laugh!!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. SG- Nah, I don't need Rob to enjoy y'all wetland. I can pick another hot Brit up for that...

    Pubs... I might patrol...hehehe...*wink*

And about the manager...some people just have destiny on their side. Right time and place. I remember Kristen saying she got her agent/manager after a bit part at her school play. Daniel Rath got his part as Harry P when he went to a play his parents. He was just sitting there minding his on business. He just looked like the character.

    ReplyDelete
  57. My bad, Goz.

I didn't think before posting that comment. I was just trying to answer. But failed to realize that's how bullshit rumors/gossip start.forgive me. I'm a bit drowsy at the moment. =/

    ReplyDelete
  58. Sorry to hear you're ill Gozde, feel better soon!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thanks :))

Alright, I'm turning this monster off.

    See y'all tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Feel better Goz, night night :)

I am sorry for asking about the expulsion.

But if anyone REALLY knows, maybe they can email me:

  63. Thanks, Shani, for clarifying :)

I guess fate/luck plays a BIG part in being successful in any career, no matter how talented or ambitious you are.

And Rob is very talented, so maybe an agent spotted his talent in a random play in Barnes, and signed him up.

Would love to hear more about this story..."I find it kinda fascinating..." (haha)

  64. Gozde, feel better and have a Happy Easter!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hi guys! I'm a brazillian, and the magazine just show us the city and what Rob likes do there, not so much important, just walk on the streets, in the first page show us the school the theatre club and a street where Rob used play guitar, xoxo.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Good evening, everyone.

Danni, hi. I am in my parents home in Rio for Easter, not to much time to sneak in my mother's computer (I did not bring mine)... too many "greeks" around...

But, ok easier in portuguese: como vc está?

Happy Easter for all of you!

    ReplyDelete
  67. How are you Sophia?
Como está sendo a sua páscoa?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Happy Easter Sophia, and to all of you :)

  69. Hey, Danielle!

Danielle, sou brasileira tbm, do RS e vc?

    ReplyDelete

Thank you, SummerGirl! The same for you!

    ReplyDelete
  72. O que houve? Vou olhar agora.

  78. Alinutza!
Hapy Easter for you to girl!!

    ReplyDelete
  79. thanks. my Easter is next Sunday, but I'll take it in advance :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. Why next sunday? sorry, i'm curious now!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  82. Danni, não se preocupe com elas. Apenas ignore-as.

    ReplyDelete
  87. it depends. there were years in which both Easters were in the same day. but also years in which the difference was a month or so. I still don't know how they calculate it. I guess I skipped those classes. :))
you and Sunshine are having quite a talk. :)
    I'm outta here. it's 2:27 a.m. and I'm sleepy. I'll be back soon. :)

    Sunshine!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Bucharest, Romania and proud of it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. Romania is a really cold (weather) country right?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Pois, claro.

    ReplyDelete
  94. we have 4 seasons and these days were really sunny. the weather has changed a lot in the past 5 years. we're getting close to the Mediterranean climate. i miss those snowy winters [sigh].

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  96. I just ask because of the time zone. Good for you! How do you know portuguese?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Oh... My english suck...

    ReplyDelete
  98. Snowy winters!
I'm cold already, rarely snows here, and when it does is only in the state i've being living. Is the coldest one in Brazil.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I've started learning Portuguese 5 years ago. pure passion and determination. it sounds and looks like my native language and it was kind of easy to learn it. but believe it's a complete mess in my head, as I also speak Spanish, Italian and French and my native Romanian. all Latin languages. there are moments when I don't really realize that I'm messing them up :))

    ReplyDelete
  100. I speak portuguese, english e a little of italian. But my italian is very bad.
You seems to be a very inteligent, smart woman!

    ReplyDelete
  101. I'm off. Dinner is ready!

    ReplyDelete
  102. thanks :) I just like to say I have a big HDD :))
I'm only 21 so there's plenty of time to learn more :)

    ReplyDelete
  103. That's was i'm going to say. You seem to learn very fast portuguese, i saw that in a romanian futebol coach i think... and in here in Portugal the romanian imigrants speek portuguese perfectly! It's amazing!

    Obrigada Danni, até logo.

I'm trying to work my english cause i'm going to start a job that demands i'm good on that. And i understand everything writen or spoken but for me to to write it's more difficult...

Ah, I´m from Sao Paulo, Brazil

Happy Easter to all of you!

  109. And Barnes is in the South West of London and not South East. It's near Richmond.

    ReplyDelete
  110. SG- If your still around...all I know is from what he has said was that he was in the play...umm,gosh something "Duberville"...I saw it on Masterpiece Theater here in the states. Anyway, yeah he was playing one of the main characters and I guess his agent or manager saw him and signed him. Like I said destiny...sometimes people can see you...the "star"...better than you can.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Hi Sara. You have the name of a portuguese singer lol

    And I heard that too.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Unfortunately, I don´t have her talent
Otherwise, I would find a way to sing for Rob LOL

    ReplyDelete

  119. Oh sim!

Welcome, SunShine!
