Mary Hart's Twitter...LOL!! I'm not happy with the cougar term, though. Most older women I know don't prowl...the younger men come to them on their own.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Chicago Girl - Absolutely...a cougar is a woman who purposely seeks out older women. Many younger men are purposely pursuing ladies who are older. My friend is a teacher (38) and of her 4 similarly-aged friends, not a single one is dating a guy over 25.

I don't care what anyone says, an older gal (late 20s - 30s) is going to swoop right in and sweep Rob off his feet. She'll be established in her goals and career, comfortable in herself, able to tell the speculators to f*ck off and independent enough to tolerate long periods away from him. No disrespect to the young ladies - you are all beautiful, too! This is just what I think.

  5. I mean a woman who seeks out younger MEN!!! Sorry!

  7. Gee, thank God that Rob is not the kind of guy, who would let the itty bitty fact, that the women of all ages across the globe are falling at his feet, get to his head. XD (I˙m not in any way responsible for the incorrectness of this convoluted sentence. :p)

  8. Suz - I beat 'em off with a stick, too. It's good to be in my 30s. Better than I ever thought :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Tess - Yes, and things got a little heated because someone was unhappy with those pics being posted. I don't get it...if you don't like something, don't look at it!

  34. The video here isn't the newest one though... there's a new one with Bella and Jacob scenes from the movie theater... "Wait... You like me right? Well, I'm never going to give up..."

    ReplyDelete
  35. Goz - If you need some comic relief...just head over to Ted Casablunkhead's website: all bullsh*t, all the time :)

Sorry you had to get all over someone's ass so hard. That sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Emmes - Good one!! and I really really like your avatar.

KK- *rolls eyes* over endless speculation and posters having conversations with themselves (which is basically what speculating about something you'll never know amounts to ). Glad I've managed to miss most of it..

    ReplyDelete
  37. OMG, you are right! I uploaded the wrong video! The new one coming up in a minute! I'm a retard!

  41. BI...Aha! he´s been lurking about :)

  42. KK @ 7:01, ITA with you. I think an older woman will sweep Rob off his feet, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one in my 30s (or older) lusting after this guy.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with a guy dating an older woman, especially if he's Rob's age and she's in her early thirties. I don't think 8 or 9 years or whatever makes that much difference. My friend says I'm nuts and a pervert tho, lol!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Goz!!! New VMAN????

My hands are already starting to shake...

    Oh Happy Day.

Hello KK, you gave me a laugh! Honestly, the first time reading, I was skimming and didn't even notice until you pointed it out! ROTFLAMAO!

I can't believe someone is back on the marbles thread. It just about killed me yesterday, trying to catch up!

SUZ~Someone said Rob looks a bit like John Lennon. I guess it is his nose... I'm crushing a tad on Bobby Long. The music really plays through him and when he finishes, he flips his head up so all of that swoopy hair moves over to reveal his blue eyes...serious yummyness. What IS it about a man with a guitar?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Stacy - Is your friend a woman? Women are the ones that usually freak over a younger man/older woman relationship. Three of my best friends are guys (ranging from 9 years younger to my age), and they think very differently about it. They all think a younger guy scores when he finds a sexy, older woman. I don't understand why some women act so threatened about it, but I notice it at the bar. Guys Rob's age come up to me all the time, and I get the nastiest looks from other women. People connect with who they connect with. What the hell does age matter (granted, I don't think I'd like to see Rob with a 70 year old...:p)?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Chi Girl - Bobby is really great. Love the voice and the way he pronounces words.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Chicago girl now in LAApril 22, 2009 at 8:29 PM

    Stacy & KK~

It is so true, the women are threatened and the men don't care.

I'll just state again: DH & I are like Ashton & Demi. I'm so grateful to them for helping to break the ice on the age thing.

    ReplyDelete
  48. They are late in the game...get to the back of the line...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. KK - Yeah, my friend is a woman, and she says it's wrong and all that crap. And yes, women are so catty and jealous. It's one thing if they're old enough to be his mother, lol, but seriously, 10 years or whatever, is no big deal, IMO. I'm glad to know that guys think it's sexy, cause I figure young guys get a lot of shit for being with an older woman. My friend says "why would a young stud like that want to be with some woman who's body is going to start breaking down in a few years?" Yeah, she's an idiot. I don't know how old you are, but I'm 32, and I'd like to think I have a more then a few years before my body breaks down.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Chicago - Like I said, connection is connection. In my opinion, we are lucky to find love at all, especially one that lasts. You are obviously lucky. Hold on to each other!!! (I'll let you know when Rob and I hook up...we're approx. the same age difference as you and your "Ashton" :) HAHAHA!)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Stacy - I'm late 30s, and I look better than I ever have (good genes from my mom). My one friend 9 years younger has told me he'd LOVE to be with me because I'm strong, independent, confident, experienced in life and love and know what I want in and out of the bedroom. Enough said...is your friend married or perhaps not attracting the younger men?

    ReplyDelete
  52. This is Anon@7:36p. I haven't posted before which is why I haven't registered yet but when I came across the song I couldn't resist.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Okay people...if you are reading this, you so need to be on the Vman thread. Absolute overdose!!! What are you doing here? Get thee to the smorgasborg of Rob!

    ReplyDelete
  54. We are both married, altho I wouldn't say she was that happily married. I will be celebrating my 10th anniversary next month, (I almost forget what it's like to be out with the girls and getting hit on, lol) and we are the same age. She is just ... set in her ways and bitter. She thinks if Rob dated a woman our age, people would be laughing at him and talking shit about them both. I figure you love who you love, and you can't help it.

I'm just so glad I have this site of women my age, so I don't feel like such a pervert, as she calls me!

Sorry to hear about your friend Stacy. A person can get "stuck" at any age--that's why making judgement about age doesn't make sense.

Perhaps your friend can consider taking a class--any class, anywhere--and meet some new people.

Relationships are mostly in the mind, not in the body anyway. Ever notice how a beautiful person becomes ugly if their personality is ugly? Or an average person becomes better looking because they are special inside?

And about bodies falling apart: Valerie Bertinelli, anyone? Seventy percent of aging is up to you! Only 30 percent is genetic...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thanks Chicago girl:) Yeah, she's just bitter, I think. Things aren't good in her life now, and she's taking them out on everybody.

I completely agree with what you said about relationships, and frankly, life is too damn short to give up something that makes you happy based on age or what society thinks of you. And yes, personality affects beauty so much ... and beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

Valerie B. looks FANTASTIC. She had to do some serious working out, not just Jenny Craig, lol!

  57. I also am a proud cougar. Kristen is right Bella is holding out for the best. Robward.
So excited I'm ordering all of the Rob movies tonight!

  58. So this ET special stuff screens your/US Thursday/tomorrow night, right?
That would be Oz Friday then.
Oh crap, that's one of the nights we don't have it on due to football games.
What time does it screen US? We get it 3pm & usually repeated about 2am - except fridays.
