I think the whole "stinking and gay rumors" are really to deflect attention from Rob and shine a little to Taylor in prep for New Moon. All the dirty gossip are for the sole purpose of souring the R/K chemistry to give way to the T/K pairing, which is so silly. Summit pays just as much money to these publicity machines as they would if they just add more Edward/Bella montages in New Moon to make sure the movie makes money. Also, since when did the Twilight Saga ever became about Jacob and Bella? New Moon is just a distraction for the big finale (Eclipse) and the big encore (Breaking Dawn). So they should just lighten up and give us more Edward and Bella in...I don't know...flashback sequences of their kissing encounters with more detail taken from another angle? The pulley is welcome to join by the way. LOL!
You, d6sense, what you said made some sense, and frankly, it scares me for New Moon. I think New Moon could be a great movie, but if Summit plays up Bella and Jacob as romantically involved, when he was basically just a band-aid, that doesn't speak well for their understanding of the series OR its fans. I hope that relationship is portrayed correctly.
