Winwin, the "but I want you" interview was absolutely hilarious!!! Those women were sooo cheeky to him. But he totally kept up and played along. I loved it when he said "yeah i'm active" and then "yeah i'm illiterate, they don't have an audio book for the 4th one" :))) Sobanyway besides the obvious value of these interviews (*sigh*) they proved to be very educational too, i had no idea that such a thing as whore baths existed - and now I do, thanks to rob who seems to know all about them - "i don't like things to be too moist:))))) Ok, next time i'm doing a live interview on the radio, that's what it's gonna sound like :))) Ok, off to bed!

I agree, I afraid what fame and the media will do to him. I don't think he will freely give this many interview for his upcoming roles. I could see Summit shoving Taylor down everyone's throats and I can see Rob's people keeping him reserved from this many media outlets. Hope I am wrong though. I love watching his interviews. I was hoping to start seeing some for Little Ashes.

I loved it when he said "yeah i'm active" and then "yeah i'm illiterate, they don't have an audio book for the 4th one" :))) Sobanyway besides the obvious value of these interviews (*sigh*) they proved to be very educational too, i had no idea that such a thing as whore baths existed - and now I do, thanks to rob who seems to know all about them - "i don't like things to be too moist:)))))

Oh, and DS, Adrien Brody has only recently been dethroned in my hothothot list by our lovely Rob. He still is my favorite actor and i actually met him on the set of Brothers Bloom in Romania. He was so nice, trying to make conversation between takes and i just stood there looking dumb and tongue-tied and when i finally did speak, it came out as pure nonsense :)))) It's funny, i've met and interviewed a number of celebrities but when you actually get to meet one you really like it's very hard to focus, so judging by that, if i ever meet rob (i already bought the plane ticket to Italy, yuuhuuuuu) i will probably turn into a jelly fish and get squashed on the sidewalk by the mob :)))

ReplyDeleteThanks for the TRL interview WinWin, I could never see it before I looked for ite every where, he is quite flirty with the ladies, hard to guess that he is not as lucky with the oposite sex as he claims he actually isn´t. maybe it is easier to be flirty in an interview than trying to get a girl for real.

He dazzles even me. Like that one at Z100 the guy got all tongue tied. i'll see if i get the link. I'm sure he scores, really good at keeping it private, i guess...anyhoos thank yous!

That one is so funny. Poor guy. i completely undertand him though. I get that kind of anxiety myself. I hate hearing my voice, having people hear me sing, and can't see any vids of my family's recordings. It's sad. The difference is he has to do all that for a living.

DS, I love the song, I couldn't make out what he was saying. I can't believe he's only 22. He's such an old soul. So complex. WHen I was drooling over him at the Oscars, my dh was like making a big deal because he's so young. It's not like I'm going to start obsessing about all the teen idols like Zac Efron and Jonas Brothers. Rob could be 30 or 40 and I think I would still be obsessed.

I agree completely with the old soul comments. There's much more to him than a pretty face and I think that's what draws the more mature fans in.

And frankly, I know i'm going to be in the minority here, I think he would have been better off as a musician. It's a purer form of expression and this Zac Efron style hollywood fame crap could potentially kill this special quality that he has about him.

About him being an actor or musician, I can´t decide, I like very much both facets, he is good at both, and I wish I could see more of both, like hear more of his music and get to watch him playing more interesting roles, and it is kind of scary of what fame could do to him, not probably with his character, because he seems to have a good head over his shoulders, but I´m afraid to what it would do to him in the way he presents him self to the media, to see him playing an image of his persona and not being himself, I don´t know if you get me.
BTW, thank you ladies for linking me to videos that I haven't seen before. This was very fun and educational. We should do this again.

ReplyDeleteI agree, I afraid what fame and the media will do to him. I don't think he will freely give this many interview for his upcoming roles. I could see Summit shoving Taylor down everyone's throats and I can see Rob's people keeping him reserved from this many media outlets. Hope I am wrong though. I love watching his interviews. I was hoping to start seeing some for Little Ashes.
