I wanted to make a "Happy Birthday Rob" post since here it is already May 13th but I am dead tired and this HQ Happy Trail Picture distracted me :) So I'll go and get some sleep. When I wake up, I'll wish Rob a Happy Birthday and it won't be about his "happy trail" (at least not entirely;))

A/L.A. Yeah, didn't one article say that someone said Anna would not have thrown out the scripts? Why would she have a copy of "Memoirs." People trying out for the film wouldn't have an entire script, just pieces of scenes. This kind of stinks like Stephenie Meyer's lawsuit.

Many in Missouri are bad about dumpster diving. It is almost a sport here. So I am not surprised that the script was found.

I can't quite looking at the Happy Trail and wondering just how soft the hair is between his mipples, and his well other hair.
Nothing new. It's just that it's freaking me out. My first reaction to Rob was to find him irresistible in so many ways. My second was to instantly start worrying about him. I don't know why. I'm not a worrier by nature. Then he started pointing out how paranoid he's always been, and you hit me with the sanpaku thing. Looking at the company he's in just sent the worry factor higher.

I'm still here and still correcting horribly-written summaries where the students didn't bother to make any of my corrections or incorporate any of my suggestions and they will complain tomorrow night when they see they earned low points on the assignment. That long, poorly-written sentence is a tribute to the poorly-written shite I've been reading for the last two hours.

In the past, when I have worked as a freelance proofreader/copy editor, it would make me crazy when editors ignored some of my more urgent suggestions—even when I had attached an explanatory note, along the lines of, "used 'his incredible accent,' 'Rob's incredibly touchable hair,' and 'incredibly, he is still single' in the same sentence: choose new word?"
On second thought, I would let those stand. ;)
KK, you'll love/cringe in horror at this story:
ReplyDeleteMy actual real Robsessor friend, with whom I discuss what's really going on with Robsten among other things, teaches 8th grade at a posh private school. She posted two reviews for finals on the school community website so her students could study them. Today one of her students said, "Do you want us to take the sample tests and turn those in to you?" My shocked and horrified friend said, "What sample tests???"
Yes...she had mistakenly posted the actual finals online instead of the reviews. She had to spend the entire day rewriting her two English finals. She nearly punched me through the phone when I laughed at this story.
