Oh please, what a silly girl she must be! Sorry - I don't mean to be rude but how ridiculously stupid, does she honestly think she will want to have that tattoo on her body for the rest of her life? I think tattoos are stupid full stop but something like this is even worse.
I don't mind tattoos, as long as they're not covering everywhere on ppl's bodies. I got 2 myself but they are tiny ones. I did however choose mine knowing full well I would have them on me PERMANENTLY. They are also tiny and can easily be covered up or removed if I want to.
However to put someone's NAME on me in full letters, not my thing. I do have a name on me but it is in Chinese symbols so it could mean anything lol. I did that on purpose and I think these symbols look cool :-). Do not regret getting them at all. The other one I got is a tiny superman tattoo hehe.
I would put an order of protection against this person, this is by far the WORST thing I have ever seen a fan do. I hope they feel like an ASS right now...That was not cool.

Sadly, this is nothing new. People for awhile now have gotten a tat of a celebrity signature. There is a women in LA that goes up to a lot of the celebrities and gets their auotograph so that she can get it tattooed. She is like well known now and was even a guest on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I guess it's a fetish...

Whoa. Some day she is going to seriously regret that. A friend's sister got the Cullen family crest tattooed on her arm and I can't even look at it without having a mini-panic attack. Someone on top of this blog posted a link to "twilight" tattoos. Some are really cool but some are way over. Someone actually has a picture of Edward & Bella tattooed on their arm, WOW, that is diehard. The tattoos of quotes and the different flowers are pretty cool but when you get a picture of stars or their names, that to me is a little much, BUT this is only my opinion!!!
I haven't read the comments yet but my first reaction (having a couple Rob autographs, including one in person) and being VERY familiar with his signature is that this is a rushed auto and not the best one at that!

People get celeb signatures tattooed all the time. Would I do it? No. I also tend not to ask for autographs because I think name scribbles are a weird way to remember someone.

I have 3 tattos my self, and each ones mean something special for me, they represent something. Each person gets a tattoo for a different reason, some people take it more seriously that other, and each person gives the importance needed to it. Getting tattooed a name or signature of a person, will be surely a decision to latter regret because feeling toward people change, and as the feeling changes the affection for the tattoo representing the person.. changes too. I would never get tattooed a name of anybody, but that I can decide on my body, each decide on each own.
Personally, I wouldn't do it, but to each his own. I imagine she is young and likes tattoos. Good for her. It looks like it would hurt specially on that area of her arm. So she is a little too dedicated maybe!!?? As long as that does not turn into obsessional stalking SHE is the only one hurt by it. When i was a teenager i was OBSESSED with John Taylor of Duran Duran and very likely been stupid enough to get a tattoo with his signature...and i can tell ya- if i had, i'd sooo be regretting it now. We are all on a sight called Robsessed! What's that saying that goes.."People in glass houses"....? If Rob is not hurt by it, then we shouldn't complain. He might think it is a little extreme but he probably thinks it is a bit flattering as well. People get tattoos removed quite easily these days don't they. Then again it is insulting to Rob to be considering that angle now. Don't we believe that he will have a long and successful career? I certainly hope so.
A friend of mine is dead-set on getting a tattoo of Bono's autograph, IF she's lucky enough to have him sign it on her body somewhere in person. I might consider that too. I mean, he's Bono. I'd probably want to let Rob "season" a little bit before I made him a permanent part of my body (unless I can somehow be conjoined to him physically.)

Katykeene - I think we all believe that Rob will have a long career, it's just that infatuations come and go. Tattoos are still difficult (many treatments required) and expensive to remove.

The paps were so invasive to Rob at the airport and were literally trying to corner him like an animal. They also asked him a very rude question about Kristen. It's bad enough that Rob has to go through this. I'm not sure we should watch it (though that is my opinion only).
Sorry, Leann. Believe me, you should be outraged. Rob does have to take some of the paps crap as, unfortunately, it is a side effect of his fame. These paps, however, were really bad.

I have mixed feelings about the paps. Yes, they are bottom-feeders, but I think that karmic retribution will eventually give them what they deserve. I have to say that the celebs have their own special area at LAX for the purpose of avoiding the paps. It appears that Rob was led to an area with few people and then placed into the center of the screening line. It seems to be one of those rare cases where the paps tagged along...
I'm sure it gets tedious but Rob knows this is part of the game while he works on his career. When he settles down, where he lives will probably partially depend on where his mate comes from.

Sadly, this is nothing new. People for awhile now have gotten a tat of a celebrity signature. There is a women in LA that goes up to a lot of the celebrities and gets their auotograph so that she can get it tattooed. She is like well known now and was even a guest on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I guess it's a fetish...

Ahh. yeah... thats hardcore. Rob's reation to that, if he ever gets wind of it- would be priceless. He probably has thought he's seen it all. I can't imagaine how this all must feel to him. I'm fan of tattoos and think people should get anything that feels right for them, but I think that's a bit much personally. However, she is certainly not the first person who have an autograph tattooed on them. It is one way to ensure it last forever lol

Someone on top of this blog posted a link to "twilight" tattoos. Some are really cool but some are way over. Someone actually has a picture of Edward & Bella tattooed on their arm, WOW, that is diehard.

I have 3 tattos my self, and each ones mean something special for me, they represent something. Each person gets a tattoo for a different reason, some people take it more seriously that other, and each person gives the importance needed to it.

I would never get tattooed a name of anybody, but that I can decide on my body, each decide on each own.
Personally, I wouldn't do it, but to each his own. I imagine she is young and likes tattoos. Good for her. It looks like it would hurt specially on that area of her arm. ReplyDeleteA friend of mine is dead-set on getting a tattoo of Bono's autograph, IF she's lucky enough to have him sign it on her body somewhere in person. I might consider that too. I mean, he's Bono. I'd probably want to let Rob "season" a little bit before I made him a permanent part of my body (unless I can somehow be conjoined to him physically.)
Ah well, the girl can always have it removed a la Angelina and Billy Bob, or she can have it turned into some intricate vines and such to hide it later on. I wonder if her mom knows she did this? lol

Ana73 - The video link was posted on this thread earlier, and I was the one who asked that it be removed. The paps were so invasive to Rob at the airport and were literally trying to corner him like an animal. They also asked him a very rude question about Kristen. It's bad enough that Rob has to go through this. I'm not sure we should watch it (though that is my opinion only).

I always got the impression that he didn't do a ton of writing songs on his own, but I could be wrong about that. On the Twilight extras DVD, you can see that he plays piano completely by ear and makes stuff up as he goes. I wonder how well he reads music? ReplyDeleteHmmm...I think the side of Rob that would want to go underground would lose to the side of Rob that wants to make more movies and do great work, at least for awhile. The hysteria will fade. I'd love to sit him down with Leonardo and Johnny, like a former-teen-idol intervention. That'd do our boy some good!
Yeah, I saw the vid. Looks like the paps followed Rob from Peter's house and that's how they were able to get so much at LAX.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that the celebs have their own special area at LAX for the purpose of avoiding the paps. It appears that Rob was led to an area with few people and then placed into the center of the screening line. It seems to be one of those rare cases where the paps tagged along...
I'm sure it gets tedious but Rob knows this is part of the game while he works on his career. When he settles down, where he lives will probably partially depend on where his mate comes from.
