From the set today. There seems to be bruises on his knuckles. Apparently it's make up for the movie but kinda makes me wish he had hit those crazies from yesterday.

If you watch really carefully you can see that the bodyguard lightly smacks one of the crazies. Good!

Then yeah, he definitely IS the keeper of unicorns :)) RPattz was making his way back to his trailer on the set of his movie Remember Me when the fangirls were unleashed and tried to impregnate themselves by dry fucking him. I can smell the chonie cheese from here and it's thick!
Somebody give them the q-tip! Turn the hose on them! Give them a squeaky toy to hump on! What am I blabbing about? None of that would work! Even if you tasered their asses and peppered them in the eyes at the same time, they still wouldn't let up. These psychos had a whiff of RPattz's magic dust and they are in the zone! Nothing can stop them.
The city of New York should probably keep a judge on set at all times to hand out restraining orders, because these crazy bitches are thisclose to crawling through the shit pipe to get into his trailer.
That being said, this whole scenario would be considered perfectly sane if you replaced RPattz with Prince Hot Ginge and the curly-haired loon in the plaid with me.

ReplyDeleteThat faux poster was not funny in anyway. Nor was it merely cheesy. We all know what that poster is referring to and I have to wonder about the sensitivity of whoever came up with it. Nearly 3,000 people were murdered that unimaginable day and were less than 10 years removed from it. Not funny. I'm gonna guess that if Rob saw that, it would nauseate him; making a joke -involving him- in reference to such a tragedy. Not to mention that in regard to the film, it's spoilerish in nature.
As for his bruises...
In the story, Tyler breaks up a street fight, then finds himself in the mix and then gets rough up by a cop.

I'm am a little sensitive about this because I lived in NY (way downtown near Battery Park) for several years (my apt. was only two blocks south of the Trade Center) and I was in the towers many times. I wasn't living in NY on that day. I was in living in McLean, VA. right outside Washington, DC about 4 miles from the Pentegon. So yeah, it is a day that I will NEVER recover from...if I live to be 100. And I know that many, many others feel the same way.
It's one of the reasons that I've got such ambivilent feelings about this film. It's Rob's film, so I will go see it. But it's gonna kill me.
Thanks again Goz. You and Dani are the best and thank you soooooo much for this wonderful site. I really do think if Rob was aware of this place, that he would laugh and hopefully know that he is truly
loved.

But just so you know, the entire story does not revolve around that. It's the story of a young man and young woman who fall in love and who are dealing with tragedies in their lives. THAT'S the crux of the story.
Oh God. I'm so sorry if I spoiled anything for anyone. But you gotta know that with the nature of the internet (and this being Rob's follow up to Twilight) most of what this story is about is gonna be out before the film is released. The only way to avoid it, is to stay off the internet.
But still...I'm so sorry Goz and to anyone else who knew NOTHING.

When the pic is enlarged, you can see the red bruising around his eye, he has a cut on his lip, and cuts/blood on his ear. So they are for sure trying to hide him. I kind of liked the idea of them trying to keep him out of the sun so he doesn't get any color before he goes back to Edward mode. Or to keep him from sparling. Oh, right. That's not real.

ReplyDeleteThe still shot of the footage. (There are several versions on youtube I have been examining)of the mob scene is much more revealing than the moving "real time" version.
2 things stand out:
He was AMAZINGLY gracious -- He did smile and pose. I couldn't tell that in all the chaos.
The body guards could have pushed them away easily! Do you think they were hesitant to "handle" several young-ish women?
"The keeper of the unicorns" OMG that is the funniest description of him I have ever heard. Wide Awake sure does get around!

These photos/stories/videos are awfully disturbing. For me, I'd have to question my choice of profession, future wise. Not that anyone necessarily signs up for this sort of "crazy".

As to the comment about making money off a tragedy...
Yeah, Hollywood needs to very mindful of that and I think in alot of instances, they have been; Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, Munich, etc.
If Remember Me turns out to be a good film (as those others were) then I think it will be okay. If it turns out a lousy movie, then yeah, it could be seen as explotive. Another problem? We are many years removed from the tragedies of the films I mentioned. September 11? It hasn't even been 10 years. I don't know if audiences will be ready for it. But again...
THAT is not the crux of the film. It's the love story and how these two young people deal with family tragedies.

I also didn't equate it being solely a parody of those 9/11 posters since every tragedy seems to come complete with similar imagery. It is, however, an illustration of your awesomeness that you are sensitive to others. =)
