Also, anyone else get the vibe from his brief interviews that he's grown up quite a bit? There's an edge to him now that I didn't see before. And instead of mourning his loss of innocence, I find it even more attractive. No more reservations about diggin' on someone who's younger ;p

Showme, I think Kristen is not your typical Hollywood starlet. She is not good with attention and praise. She seems very serious. As far as her being rude to Rob, I just think that's the dynamic of their relationship. They both have a dry, cutting sense of humor, IMO, and poke fun of one another all of the time.
It's funny, because I do that with my sisters and a few of my close friends. Anyone who didn't know us would think we were being horribly rude to one another, but it's just our way. And we usually crack up later on, laughing at people's reactions to us.

I get that she is shy and awkward, and some of the attitude is how she deals with that. But she does come across as dull and flat a lot of the time ... like I wonder if she is capable of having a laughing fit or crying, or having a range in emotions. I guess that's why I didn't like her in Twilight - because it really seemed like she was playing herself, and flat is exactly the word I used to describe her.

I think behind closed doors and when Kristen is around people she's comfortable with she's probably much nicer than the impression u get of her on a show like this.
People are more used to seeing people like Miley, Ashley and other young hollywood starlets whos always supernice and outgoing and Kristen isn't like that. So people always like to critize people that is a bit different in that way. But she's only 19 and this fame thing is also very new to her still, twilight really blowed up this past year and before all that she wasn't that famous exactly. So give her a chance I say:)

About Kristen, I really don´t know, she comes as a bitch sometimes but I think she is too nervous, like she tries to act too grown up, instead of letting it loose a bit, but I think she as shy as Rob and that the two of them are under a lot of pressure, if they are dating or not, I don’t know but it must be exhausting to carry the wait of a movie, with all the media and fans observing for every gesture they have.. compare the MTV interview last year when they were in set to this one, the two of them were their dorky self with each other, seeing pics of behind the scenes they look like they still are, but put them to do an interview or in front of a camera and they know they are being observed and people are reading too much into anything they do.
As for Rob working on RM, they are probably not shooting yet but finishing pre production. I love that he is already starting into that because he seems to lie the work, not the publicity stuff, and it will give him a brake from all the Twilight thing.
Now.. I don´t care what he was wearing, he was just looking hot!!! That jaw porn when he was receiving best kiss award kiss me.. I may be the only one, but it kind of amazed me how like in 5 second he sort of went from his nervous fidgeting self to a glimpse of controlled strained movement sort of channeling Edward Cullen, when they were “doing the kissing scene”… that guy has talent… given the right project to work and right people to let him do the job, he will rock.
I saw bits of other celebrities interviews behind stage at the MTV web and it annoys me, that other celebrities sort of dismiss Robert… he is still new and has to prove himself.. but he could have gotten more respect from his pears.

Another huge highlight was the exclusive New Moon trailer — looks amazing. It might have been the only moment the theater was quiet in rapture rather than screaming Robert's name at random intervals. There were lots of other happy winners like Zac Efron, Jim Carrey, and Ben Stiller who was presented the Decade Award by a teary Kiefer Sutherland. Mechevpao: I agree with u! they are under alot of pressure this year compared to last years show. And I also think they both are very aware of how much people analyzing every step that they take so I completley understand why they must be a bit nervous and uncomfortable. Gosh I would probably be the same. I think they handle it very well though under all circumstances.
And compared to alot of other young hollywood stars I think both Rob and Kris are really talented actors, and they are definitley in this thing for the art of it, not become famous or superrich... But I don't think they complaining about the money that much though hehe:P

Margot, there were times during last night that he looked happy and relaxed, but overall I agree, he did seem stessed out, even some picson here where he looked unhappy. The man is working to hard, needs to relax.
I just watched the NM trailer again. Can't wait for the movie, obvi, but there are a few things that I noticed:
Not really digging Edward's lipstick - I think its too dark again, esp. in the scene where he breaks up with her.
Also in the breakup scene, his face is white with those red lips, but his neck and chest are flesh-colored. yeah, really not digging the makeup.
Last, i'm hoping they spliced the scene with Laurent because I'm going to be really bummed if that's the meadow scene. They need all of the wolves to be there - not just Jacob! And she's not supposed to know Jacob is a wolf yet at that point.

My impression is that he's just not into the whole hollywood hub-bub and that last night was a chore for him. And that he probably would have rather spent that time, sleeping, reading or relaxing with a drink.

This time I have to because I totally agree from watching last night's MTV award. Robert is still beautiful...but much skinnier, less glowy in personality also.
Of course he is tired ... but why not a few days decompression before starting Remember Me? Argg...I don't want him to ruin his amazing Talents (Am a FAN) by spreading himself too thin. The kid is flying everywhere to work and fully scheduled to shoot all the way December.
I have a young man his age that's why I feel so protective. He needs his Mommy for love and TLC! I just want to hug him..you know. Like okay son take it easy..work will come by...you don't have to drown yourself already!
He is a happy person and I don't want him to lose that.

First off, RE Rob:
I wouldn't worry about him. He and Kristin didn't even have 24 hours to rest after getting back from Italy. I'm sure he's just tired and needs to recharge, and I'm sure the Remember Me work is just preproduction stuff.
Personally, I am glad that he didn't go to the after party, and wasn't all giddy and cocky after the awards - IMO, it shows that none of this has gotten to him and he knows what's important - his work and the quality of it. I think he needs some rest and will be fine.
RE: The trailer ... LIZA, watch it again, the scene with Bella/Laurent in the meadow and then Jake jumping over and morphing are two different scenes. She's wearing two different outfits. I do notice what you mean about the makeup in that one shot tho, but I'm trying not to worry, cause all the other shots/pics his make up has looked good, and this is VERY early post production.

Lizalou~yeah that scene was edited. The scene with laurent and the scene with jacob transforming are 2 differnt scenes. I'm thinking that maybe the scene with him transforming is maybe with victoria -protecting bella from victoria?? Maybe they added something alittle different. or maybe with Paul? Im sure they are keeping with all the wolves being in that meadow scene. AS laurent raises his hand you hear the wolves and he look to his right. And Bella gets the heck out of there after seeing the wolves. Notice she had a back pack on. The other scene take place at jacobs and she has no backpack on. How they edit things make the scenes look like one- but they arent. I think the clip looked awesome~plus barely into post porduction, im sure thye will clean up stuff- like makeup because this looks 1000x better (we knew it would) than Twilight. I love CW!!
Im soo curious of who they choose as the female lead in remember me. If she is nonfamous, she's going to be one hell of a celebrity after all this, that's for sure:) I hope they discover a new talent! I don't think he looked unhappy. If you watch the interviews pre and during, he seems fine. He might be a little tired of all the Hollywood BS, but that just makes him all the more human.
Also, he's getting ready to start a pretty intense project, so I'm sure his mind is on that. Remember Me has the ability to be huge for him, and gain him some serious respect as an actor. And no, the female lead hasn't been cast. I wonder if they are doing more readings today or something.

I didn't think the wolf looked cuddly at all. Remember they are described (especially Jacob) as beautiful and scary. I thought he looked plenty scary in the face. My only complaint was that she constantly describes him as "russet colored," so I wanted to see MORE red on him, and much less white.
I always pictured him as more of deep amber, pretty much all over.
I know some people wanted them to look similar to the wolves in Underworld, but IMO, that's not how SM described them at all.

LIZA, go back and read NM. I skimmed thru the Edward-less parts the first time to, but when I read it the second time around, I really fell in love with it, because it not only helps but BxE to see that they are truly meant to be, but Bella grows a lot as a character. And I personally think its some of SM's best writing.
And I for one can't wait! I want to see him in tons of films!

One thing about this blog I loved is that the R/K nonsense wasn't discussed constantly, that every little bit and piece wasn't analyzed, and lately, that's all we've heard. It's old.

MTV blog also reported about witnesses spotting Kristen heading towards some car park,on foot,instead of waiting for her limo after the ceremony,Malkin said Rob got in the SUV and drove off,when K and Taylor where still talking waiting in line for their cars. let me see if I can find the report.

It's very old and also to the newer people here, Gozde has asked us all to stop gossiping here. Since she has been attending to her family emergency, it seems to have gotten out of hand.
And I'm not only talking about the shippers- I am talking about the people who refute them as well. Either side is still talking about his personal life, which is really none of our business and a FACT that none of us know the absolute truth.
There's lots to talk about besides the pros and cons of this stuff. :)

I agree. I know I have been one to try to shoot down speculation, and I apologize for that, but it just gets hard to keep my mouth shut when there are constant innuendos in the middle of a good conversation. It's like you can't come on here without that going on here these days.

About the R & K stuff, we all obviously know that we know nothing what's going on between them, until some of them speak out and confirm it or we see pictures of them kissing in private. I don't take these speculations seriously at all, I just think it can be fun sometimes to talk about it, you know, celebrity gossip:) I don't even read those shitty magazines like star, life & style and national enquirer, it's just laughable! I don't ever believe those kinds of things until the celebrity themself confirm it in some way, but I guess many people really take all that seriously... But yeah, wathever, let them do that then, it's not going to change the truth in the end anyway.

I completely agree that the obsession over who Rob is boinking/dating/marrying gets really *really* old.
But if we can't even joke about things, then thumbs down to this whole experience. There should be a balance of humor and serious discussion, IMO.
I can sign up for a class at the university and be forced into literary and dramatic analysis - I don't need to do be forced to do it here.

I agree, it's one thing to joke, but I just get tired of seeing every little rumor or blog post about R/K and what they may have or might not done. Frankly, it's very easy to read into the gossipers and people believe what they want to. Discussing it makes no difference and doesn't change things. It just seems like that's what this whole blog is turning into. And when Godze has asked that it not be posted/talked about, that should be respected.

Well... last night when a lots of folks were having lots of fun watching the MTV Awards there was also some downer posts analyzing Rob's mood or whatever, so maybe both sides need to chill...

I was starting to get a bit irritated with the R/K speculation myself and I'd hate to see this place devolve into a Ted C. kinda site. But I think sometimes we're unnecessarily hard on some people.
As monika just said, everyone obsesses about rob in their own way. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.
And so long as it's not out-of-control Ted C. style, why can't we just be a little more accepting of everyone?
@margot,MA's doing nothing atm,well as far as I know,he has two movies in post production for 2009: Gentlemen Broncos and Noah's Ark:The new beginning,in the latter he's uncredited.
