According to reports, filming for Robert Pattinson’s new film “Remember Me” has wrapped up Friday. If the reports are true, Pattinson will be in San Diego this week for the Comic-Con with her on-screen lover Kristen Stewart.
Some sources are saying that the filming of “Remember Me” wasn’t able to fulfill its original plan of a 35-day shoot (excluding weekends). Execs of Summit Entertainment has said that Rob will show up at the Comic-Con, but he could be pulled out of the event anytime since technically, the last day of filming for Remember Me is on August 4th, due to the interruptions of fans and papz in New York.
Once the film has made it to post-production stage, Robert Pattinson will have a two-week break before filming “Eclipse,” the third installment in the Twilight Saga, in Vancouver, BC. Summit has announced that Eclipse will begin filming in August 17.
So if you don’t see RPattz anywhere from August 5-16, don’t be too suprised. (Gozde: Oh the horror! :)) Hope he'll have some fun. If you want good food, booze and beach I'm at our summer house Rob, come over :)) He successfully hid from all the mania after the filming of Twilight and he could do it again. That is, if he’s not scheduled to meet the cast and crew of his other 2010 film drama “Unbound Captives” or “Bel Ami.”

ReplyDeleteyeah i had a feeling that we weren't going to be seeing him from early August until he is filming Eclipse. he likes to go in hiding for awhile before a role to prepare himself and stay out of the media to cool off. well since we all know he won't be around after comic-con for the backstage stuff, he is only the on stage man, i don't think it will be a problem for Remember Me personal to let him do the New Moon stuff for a bit. afterall, he was contracted for all the Twilight stuff first!

OK, how are they behind on a 35 day shoot if it began on 6/15 and there was a holiday in between? Not saying it hasn't been crazy for him, but let's get the story straight.

ReplyDeleteI thought Rob said that he'd have a 3 day break before starting Eclipse in August. I seem to recall that he arrived in Vancouver along with the rest of the cast about two weeks before they actually started filming New Moon back in March I would assume this would be for rehearsals and preparation? It would be good if he could get a couple of weeks solid break....God knows he needs it.

I'm a Registered Nurse and he needs is to have those wounds cleaned up first so I volunteer to "take him in the shower" ... oops I meant take him to the shower, them we can assess if anything needs to be bandaged or just kissed.

Yeah riddleinside, I am kinda dreading Comic Con. I fear for his safety actually. I can also imagine a scenario where the screamers won't shut up and the whole Q & A will just be a noisy, embarrassing farce. The man must desperately need some down-time by now.
ReplyDeleteHere is what is frustrating for me. Rob seems to have come to terms with the craziness and crazies that goes along with playing Edward. It probably doesn't even phase him anymore when people camp out for days on the set and scream at the very sight of him. I think it just comes with the territory and he seems okay with it when he is filming the Twilight movies and promoting them.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I think it's frustrating that the attention and hysteria is spilling over into his other projects. I know there are respectful fans who have gone to the RM set and don't cause a scene and are there because they are genuinely interested in Rob. But the others that are there and cause near riots have got to be getting to him. He's got to be wondering if it's going to be like this on every job he does from now on. I admire how incredibly gracious he always is to his fans. He's more patient than I ever would be.
I don't think he's sorry he took the role of Edward - he probably wouldn't be doing the kind of movies he is now without the exposure it gave him, but I wonder how long people will follow him from job to job. I don't know, maybe I'm being overprotective and it really isn't that bad. Just something I was thinking about.

I hope that he is able to go back to London for the break and that he uses the airport VIP access so that no one actually knows when or where he's flying. I absolutely don't want to see another airport harassment scene. Poor guy.

Normally, I wouldn't get "hot and bothered" when I see guys all bloodied and bruised. Not even when they're moving about in a scene kicking ass. But when it comes to Rob... he breaks my rules. *sigh*
Can't get enough of him. Which is why for his sake, I hope he does get time away from the craziness and just lay low successfully at that.
So that when he's back at work, he'll be more smiley. That's just my opinion.

When they show him up close, to me it looks like his face and collarbones are thinner and sunken than usual.
ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised to see him not show up at Comicon at all. I can see them saying all kinds of things to create diversions so that he can sneak around.
And I would not be surprised if filming of RM was delayed b/c of the bystanders. They can make noise, flash pictures, etc, that interfere and when the dailys are looked at, they find they have to repeat some scenes.
Only the insiders know. I am just so looking forward to this movie and NM and Eclipse and UC and BA and BD and any other projects he has in the works. Can't get enough of Rob. Just can't.

ReplyDeleteI agree. Many have said he looks thinner. Over the weekend I went through my Rob archive and found a picture from many months ago on the New Moon set. He was wearing the same button fly jeans and grey v neck tee that he has worn several times recently, they fit the same. The jeans fit the same, in fact I think the tee may even be tighter, now. Of course it may have shrunk if it has ever seen a washing machine.
WHAT? What buzz about the love scene??? Did I miss it? and when is WA ending coming? I keep checking and checking and still chapter 49. I'm dying to get another chapter, but soooo don't want it to end!!!

I found Wide Awake translated into my language (only yesterday), it was a decent job well done but I got ... just ... amzing feeling reading that like for the first time ( I read it in English 3 times and I know it well)... really strange feeling
