  3. Ahh, looks emotional, his hand movements, like pleading..

Oh, to have that man running after me-I'd never walk away.

  5. zero goatness :)))))))

but it's a very short run

  6. Yup no goats here :D

So is Ally supposed to be Australian then? I know that Emilie is but for some reason I thought she would use an American accent...
In the video I think I can hear her say "stop it" when he touches her arm and it sounds like she's using her normal accent. Not that it matters but I just assumed she would be playing an American lol

  7. Another thought: what will we call him when he starts filming Unbound Captives? Robneas? :D

  8. Another thing to add to the list of things we love about him :)

  9. Funny- the clip is a few seconds long and we have a hundred different pics of it. Not complaining at all.

  10. Good question Alexandra... Robneas is cute :)

It will be even more of a challenge for Bel Ami: what can you do with Rob and Georges?!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. LittleBear - Yeah I've got nothing for Bel Ami. That one's definitely going to be a challenge! Robges just doesn't work :D

  12. Alexandra, her accent sounded Australian to me too, though it's hard to be 100% sure with just 2 words from far away. What I really want to know is what accent is Rob using? I haven't heard his voice at all, & it's driving me crazy. Does anybody know for sure?

  13. I don't know the story, but he looks so sweet and sad, kinda, running after her. I wish he were running after me...and I'd gladly take him...Love him..he's so damn gorgeous.

  14. Although I haven't read the Remember me script so far (does anyone have it?) I guess that Rob (Tyler) will be the son of an english family. Because they picked Pierse Brosnan of all people to play his father... and have you ever seen HIM playing someone NOT british? ;o) So I guess Rob can speak with his normal accent. If I'm all wrong, please tell me (or send me the script ;-))

By the way: I LOVE Rob running (have you seen it in "How to be"?)... don't know why but I think it's incredibly hot... nothing of a mountain-goat or a cheese string *lol*

  15. RUN FORREST RUN!!!

    WHOOPS!

Wrong movie....Love this!!! How many of you wish it was you he was running after? Raise your hands!

**Jules puts both hands in the air**

  16. you know, i always notice his pants are so baggy in the ass, but i think i figured it out.
ROB has very long legs (swoon), and it looks like he should be buying a longer inseam (or leg length) (years ago i worked the young mens department at macys)... it appears like he's droppin the inseam on all his pants... like the young kids do with the baggy pant thing... bigger waist, shorter inseam: drop the crotch..

if he went more his size, we might see too much lol...
    any one else notice that?

  17. wondering if they changed the location of a scene in the movie, if this is what I'm thinking it is. Different from the script I read, but would be awesome anyway. Rob runs perfectly, like he does everything else. This movie will kill me. Maybe we should call him Tybert? LOL

  18. RP for Dummies, I have also noticed.

Rob seems to like them low and loose. This puts the pockets below his rear, making it appear to be missing. I think his rear is just hiding. lol

Who ever dressed him for Twilight, did a good job of fitting his pants. They were much more snug. Which never hurts where Rob is concerned.

  19. I read the script yesterday and I'm still wondering whether Rob will have his British accent or not; I hope so; but I wonder how that will work with his little sister's character?

  21. I just skimmed through the past couple of days’ news and I have two strong reactions;

    1) I am so impressed with Rob. He is one amazing, professional 23 yr old.

    2) Pap pictures are not worth the level of disruption they are causing during outdoor shoots. The hysteria is out of control and disrespectful. I care much more about Rob’s work than for the 500th hot picture.

  22. It seems that Tyler has problems with his girlfriend Ally he looks so sad in this scene

    ( Georgie )

I don't think he is going to use his english accent if he is playing as an american character

you can enjoy his english accent in HOW TO BE he was talking all the time .

  23. I love RoBel!!

For this movie, I'm thinking American accent-although I don't know about Pierce-he always plays British...

They have definitely changed and or added scenes from the script I read...which is exciting because some will be surprises...

If anyone wants the script, I have it, just post your email...mine is from 10/08-I know it's had many re-writes since then..

  24. I don't understand why Kellan is always making fun of the way Rob runs. I see nothing wrong with the way he runs.

    ReplyDelete
  25. How cute is he? He actually looks really young running in this scene. Dunno why I think that.

    Still a yummy Brit.

  28. He doesn't run like a goat or like a cheese string. His running is cute :)

And Goz, I agree, Robler is such a bad nickname. What about TyBert?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Rob looks normal to me well the running part. even though its a short distance. Rob to looks very comfortable to me idk but he does and he looks very very cute. hopefully one day we all get to meet him in person.

  30. I just realized that if what I heard about (this may be kind of spoilerish, so don't continue to read if you don't want spoilers)

Who Ally's father is, then she can't have an Australian accent because I think her father has to be an American citizen. I guess he could have become one after he emigrated here, but then why would she have the accent. Of course, if what I heard was wrong, then this forget this entire post :-)

  31. I read or heard (can't remember where) that they changed Tyler's last name from Roth to Hawkins..

    Hawkins which is English/Irish
may or may not have been chosen so that Brosnan could use his brogue.

I am pretty sure Emilie and Rob will be using American accents.

    ReplyDelete
  32. No mountain goat running here, would be nice to have him running after me....LOL!! Just kidding that would never happen!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. The way he stops to Emilie reminds me of Daniel Gale.
He does have a cute run. But definitely not like a mountain goat. He's waaaay better to look at running than a mountain goat.
    Can't wait for the movie!!

  34. Maybe someone has taught him how to run since doing Twilight. I know that sounds weird but my mom had to teach my older sister how to run when she was little because she wasn't coordinated enough to figure it out on her own. That's just a thought though...maybe Kellan just really likes to pick on Rob. Who knows?

  36. About Rob running: I think normal running is different from playing sports running. Make sense?

Rob excells at normal life running but not sports running.

I'd love to have him running next to me, not after me. Very excited about this film!

  39. Good morning ladies!

About the running: I think that the issue is that he runs relatively slow compared to Kellan (well, at least that's what Kellan said), but I have never noticed anything about the look of it.
I also think that Kellan is somewhat of a nice jocktype who is very much into fitness and sports, and he notices details about sporty things that I couldn't care less about.

It's funny how it seems very important for some american actors to mention that they have done their own stunts, and to underline the physical aspects of the roles they play sometimes.
I don't think that it's even part of their jobs, they are actors, not stuntmen. They are supposed to shoulder the character's emotional aspect, and the close ups in the action scenes. Well, for the close ups and some sequences, they sometimes have to do some stunts I guess LOL.
I guess that I'm more impressed by "intellectual" than "jock" actors type, but I'm sure other feel differently anyway~

For Rob as Georges bel ami: what about Geobert?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I like goats...they are funny...

But yep I don't think Kellan would find anything to "mock" about this run hehe. Guess running after the girl is easier for Rob than sports run hehe. He knows what he wants and he wants the girl! :-D. Now if I could just jump into Emilie's body there I'd be quite happy...

  41. hey Anna :)

I do like Geobert too... oh my, I can't wait for this movie!!

Re: the accents, imo Rob does look very american in this movie (the clothes, the bb hat), so I'm guessing he'll sound american too. I guess they could always have Pierce Brosnan play a Brit who left the UK and raised his kids in the US? Would also account for the remaining traces of Britishness in Rob's american accent ;)

  42. that bit where just after he's running (the secone shot) and when he gets up to her and he's all nervous and has his hands up to his face? like he's *trying* to act awkward? that will be one of those scenes where i don't think his acting will be that great. like how someone said before, sometimes he holds it so well and sometimes he doesn't.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @ Acid Burn:

I don't watch the videos, so I have no opinion about this acting you are talking about.

But remember that's why the director shoots the same thing several times (sometimes more than several LOL). I think the papz + fans are not helping with great acting, but I hope that the filming team will be able to capture the right things in some takes. ^_~

    ReplyDelete
  44. he he, you're right, he doesn't always do awkward that well, probably because he's so awkward himself in real life :)

but to be honest you can't tell much from this footage, and anyway, that's why they have several takes for each scene!

    ReplyDelete
  45. lol anna... you said it first :)

(I didn't watch the footage either, it just looks like it's not the best quality, and like you can't really see his face)

    ReplyDelete
  46. yeah, your totally right. they will most likely use the best one won't they? ha ha

  48. About the accents:
I guess they will all be americans like in the original script... But who knows?

I know some people were offended that a significant part of the cast was not american because of the storyline (No more spoiler).
I guess the actors that were chosen were cast for lots of reasons, among which acting ability and look, as well as wage requirement (it is a relatively small budget movie from what I heard).

  49. thank you "georgie,rpattzgirl n margotrobsessed"

    and of course

gozde n dani luv u both for the best "rob" fix

  50. Yeah. I heard there was a major outcry when David O. Selznick cast the very British Vivien Leigh as the quissisential American Southern Belle, Scarlett O'Hara. It's called ACTING people. Good lord, look at what Robert Downey did last year in Tropic Thunder.

As for accents and last names...I do find it interesting that Tyler and his parents are being played by European actors and the last name has been changed from Roth to Hawkins? That is very telling. Roth is a Jewish name, yet in the script there is no reference made to the family's religion. Perhaps they emigrated when Tyler was little and Caroline is their only American born child. That would explain some 'slight' accent on the parts of Brosnan, Olin and Pattinson. Who knows?

And I like Robler. Better than Tybert. As for Unbound Captive...why don't we go with his Camanche (Tsomo) and call him Robomo?

This is getting ridiculous. But oh so funny.

    Nik

  51. SOMEWHAT SPOILERISH (BUT YOU REALLY GOTTA BE LOOKING FOR IT)...

Now that I think of it, I would have to disagree with those who think that because of the subject matter, that only American actors should be playing these roles. If IF Tyler was not born on American soil, for me, that gives the story even more irony.
