Taylor's interview thing in between is so annoying, but other than that, I think it looks great. The colours, the make-up, the acting. Chris did a good job ;) Still not enough Robward or Cullens though. Though I guess that is a given, granted they are gone for most of the story. AAGHH.

That's almost the same what Rob said during CoCon ("being argumentative"). I'm pretty sure this is a recent quote from Kristen and so it's not directed to Chris W. It must be concerning the preparations for EC.
I don't have a lot of faith (yet) in DS, but I do have faith in the leads, meaning Rob/Kristen....I think they will do whatever it takes to make it real and the way they feel it should be..
i want more rob but..can't ignore taylor.he did amazing stunts. he climbs bella's window with style:). tabloids would start their evil thoughts by comparing them..it sucks. taylor is good but i adore rob. hope he can relax in vancouver n kick some ass in eclipse..n show em who's boss.

I don't trust the screen writer Melissa chick. She's just.... bad. If Edward doesn't bring up the marriage in the end of this movie I will forever not trust her.
Robalicious- I don't think there will be a Bella / Jake kiss in NM. Taylor himself jokingly said (sorry, can't remember when though) he's looking forward to when he gets to kiss Bella in EC.
Maybe he meant more romantic. Think he said he pulled out all the stops or something? It better be good. So far, I'm loving what he has done. But I do agree, I did not picture Jake getting quite that close to kissing Bella....not liking that. LOL

Pet - i like jacob too. some say that he is not right especially how he is supposed to get huge thru the books but i think taylor has grown into the character.
Ana- I liked Taylor from the beginning and got angry when they discussed replacing him. Now (with NM) it turns out he's just right for the part - and omg have you seen those muscles :o !

I can´t tell what KIND of chemistry they have, but I just think they like each other and have fun and that´s how it should be in that age:-) I like Taylor and I appreciate all the effort he has taken to become close to Jacobs figure. I would´ve been very sad if they had replaced him, especially because I think that the unknown actors should also get a chance in that hollywood minefield. That was something I really liked while watching Twilight, seeing all that fresh faces :-)
Pet - yeah i think there has been a real transformation from twilight to new moon. when i rewatch twilight he looks all little and skinny but now he looks all buffed.
Dany- its real funny that you think jacob is annoying in the books because i sent the books to my step-son in iraq. he saw the movie when he was on leave and wanted to read the books. He liked Jacob more than Edward. He also thought the Bella lead Jacob on during the whole series but I tried to explain what I thought about Edward and Bella but he did not see it that way. So that was a guy's point of view. He really like the books and read them all in like two weeks, he has too much time on his hands there. He is also looking forward to New Moon.

Finally we get the movie that we didn't get with Twilight. I know I will not be disapointed this time around~All hail CW!!!

well, I think the Taylor talking part is a little annoying, never seen that in a trailer before! but other than that I think this looks awesome. I'm completely team edward, of course, but I know how the story goes and have made my peace with a lot less edward in this one-that's way easier to say, though, because he's going to show up in the hallucinations!
so far I've liked everything I've heard from CW, he seems really cool and is concerned with keeping fans happy...and I read somewhere that there will be a proposal of sorts (obviously not the on one knee kind, cuz that's in eclipse) and that the fans will be really happy with it. I have a feeling he's done an awesome job with NM!
Just trying to have faith in our man right now that he'll bully DS into doing eclipse the right way! It's my favorite of the series and this guy better not screw it up!

After I read the Twilight books I started counting the boys / men in the underground trains, who read books. When I'm lucky, there's one. (Women on public transport seem to carry a book with themselves all the time.)

Eclipse is my favorite too. I am looking forward to that one so much, the whole fighting scene i hope will be real cool and bring it all to life. STill sad that it wont be rachelle playing victoria. Someone said somewhere else that they had to work around Anna's schedule for the school scenes in new moon, i really wonder why they would not work with rachelle.
when i told my husband about twilight, he is like what do you mean the "perfect guy", he said what about me. I told him sorry but you are no Edward Cullen, you are not even close. After he saw Twilight, he said that he does not see the perfectness but he think that he was "cool". I told him the books portrayed him like "perfect", he still did not get it. And i dont think that he ever will.
I find it hard to believe this is the actual long-version trailer. Looks more like an interview with Taylor, with some unseen NM footage interspliced. I'll be you anything we see a different trailer as the actual finished-and-sent-to-theaters trailer.
i live on long island,when rob arrived in new york i jumped for joy because i was planning to take a day off from work to go and see him,but after i saw what happened on the first day of shooting it turned me off so i decided to skip it and just view the pics on the web.i did not want to be part of the craziness,i did go to central park when he was there shooting a scene but so many paps and peoplr were there i did not wait around to see him
Ana73, media outlets are such bs. The first day we went was on the first day of shooting around 1:30 and it was so calm and we were across the street from him and he was just walking and smoking. Then we saw on the news him being mauled, this might have been 5 minutes or craziness, but of course it would be boring to show calm fans inwardly squeeing. We went back the second day of shooting by Washington Square park and it was again calm small crowds. Didn't see him that day, it was an indoor shot.
Then finally we went again when they were shooting at the plaza. There were crowds and we quietly waited for him to come out of trailer. When he appeared for the 5 seconds , a lot of people cheered and called out to him. The only time it got loud was when trucks would intentionally block trailer view to annoy fans and they fans who were behind barricade across the street, went nuts telling them to move. It's nothing like what the media says.
That's why I get so angry when people say "get him out of crazy NY". It's such bull. It was only on the first day that it got nuts and I bet it was no more than 5 minutes of craziness. And he didn't get papped on weekends on his off time (well, only once with his manager, remember "new vocation" video. He was at bars and restaurants w/o people bothering him.
I mean, would you like to kiss Michelangelo's "David" or a Greek statue in a museum? They are beautiful, cold and hard as marble as well. I don't know how they smell, never sniffed at one.
dany - yeah i dont think i could have hung out ALL day either. I dont think i could have sat outside waiting to get into comic con for over a couple of hours. I definitely couldn't sit out there for 1-2 days like some did, sorry not even for Rob. I think if i was young i would have. My husband & I have given up on all day concerts too, they are just too long and draining. I sound freaking old :)
so many people were there in central park just to see him it was pandamonium every where i have never see any thing like that,so sadly he was here so close to me but i did not see him i was at work most days....do i regret not seeing him HELL YESS am i proud that i did not act like those crazy people who attacked him YES but i do regret not being able to see him when he was here so close
danyasky, out of curiosity, even though it was crowded, was it screaming fans crazy? I skipped Central Park day, I was swamped at work. I did my set visiting on my lunch hour.
Ana73, I literally only stayed about 20 minutes each time. I just basically wanted to see him in the flesh. The times that I went he was filming. I think all the fan encounters happened after he was done filming. I don't even think I can approach him if i saw him in a bar, let alone interrupt him while he was working. A glimpse of him in the flesh was enough to satisfy me.
when i took the lirr down to penn station i remember seeing a group of tweens and older women with rob t shirts on heading out to go and see him lol it was crazy here in new york when he was here....I MISS HIM
win-yeah i think that would be enough for me too, seriously i could not see myself approaching him either. if i did get a pic of him, what would i really do with it, it's not like i could hang it up or put it in the family photo album, my family would really think i lost my mind. i guess i would post it here and that's about it :) again, if i was a teenager then sure i would hang it up and show everyone who would look.

I'm gonna be honest. This trailer sucks. It didn't show anything proper. We only saw Dakota Fanning for a millisecond and the interview with Taylor in the middle of the freaking trailer was soooo annoying.
Is it wrong that I have worn out my refresh button today? LOL. I am so looking forward to the Edward and Bella love in NM. When he says she is his only reason for being alive...THUD. And those kisses. I have to say, one of the hardest cries I had in that book other than the obvious ones, was when Bella was thinking maybe she should make Jake happy and be with him, and give the small amount of love she had left to him, wouldn't Edward still care enough want her to be happy. And she hears his voice whisper "Be happy". Still chokes me up. Because that was true Edward. He really would do that for her. he would want her happy above all else, and deep down she knows it. Sigh. I love Edward. sniff sniff.
Does no-one else find it ridiculosu that this wasn't a real trailer. The Taylor interview is really pissing me off, i wanted a real trailer with some Vulturi action! Seriously dissapointed!

Ana- You do not know how hard it is to get Twilight merch. here in Austria! I finally found a German webshop which also delivers to Austria, but the range is very small. I got the dolls and some bookmarks, but not the ones I originally wanted. (I'm also looking for a key ring, a lion/lamb cup and I loove the team Edward sigg bottles. Not possible to get here :(.) Anyway the NM merch. is looking so much better. Hopefully I can buy some of it in a few months. (Okay, call me crazy now :p.)
@ Emily: If your husband started being as possesive as Edward and wanted to control you all the time I doubt it you'd think it was hot, at least that thought would not last long. You'd rather feel miserable because you were in such an unhealthy relationship.

Great trailer. Taylor in the middle is a bit annoying but now I am looking forward to NM more than before. I know I will be hated here, but ..... I used to be Team Swtiz then I changed to Team Jacob. Like Edward, but..... too moody, too controlling, too pessimistic. Love Rob tho. Edward does get better as the books move on. NM is my second fav, with Eclipse taking first. I think New Moon AND Eclipse are going to be awesome films. So much more going on in them than Twilight.And Catherine is not directing them. LOL. I think that Taylor is growing into the Jacob role very nicely and by next year he'll look even older and will fit in well. OMG, yes, The proposal scene, Edward down on one knee, in the bedroom, that's going to be EPIC. Cannot wait.
Don't fret ladies, by Saturday afternoon we'll probably see photos of the Eclipse Cast Welcome Back Dinner that was on Friday night. It was just reported on Twitter that they were having a dinner, they were waiting for Rob to get there, but the name of the restaurant would not be disclosed (thank God).

I would´ve been very sad if they had replaced him, especially because I think that the unknown actors should also get a chance in that hollywood minefield. That was something I really liked while watching Twilight, seeing all that fresh faces :-)

ReplyDeleteDany- its real funny that you think jacob is annoying in the books because i sent the books to my step-son in iraq. he saw the movie when he was on leave and wanted to read the books. He liked Jacob more than Edward. He also thought the Bella lead Jacob on during the whole series but I tried to explain what I thought about Edward and Bella but he did not see it that way. So that was a guy's point of view. He really like the books and read them all in like two weeks, he has too much time on his hands there. He is also looking forward to New Moon.

well, I think the Taylor talking part is a little annoying, never seen that in a trailer before! but other than that I think this looks awesome. ReplyDeleteso far I've liked everything I've heard from CW, he seems really cool and is concerned with keeping fans happy...and I read somewhere that there will be a proposal of sorts (obviously not the on one knee kind, cuz that's in eclipse) and that the fans will be really happy with it. I have a feeling he's done an awesome job with NM!
Just trying to have faith in our man right now that he'll bully DS into doing eclipse the right way! It's my favorite of the series and this guy better not screw it up!

Ana73, media outlets are such bs. The first day we went was on the first day of shooting around 1:30 and it was so calm and we were across the street from him and he was just walking and smoking. Then we saw on the news him being mauled, this might have been 5 minutes or craziness, but of course it would be boring to show calm fans inwardly squeeing. We went back the second day of shooting by Washington Square park and it was again calm small crowds. Didn't see him that day, it was an indoor shot.
ReplyDeleteThen finally we went again when they were shooting at the plaza. There were crowds and we quietly waited for him to come out of trailer. When he appeared for the 5 seconds , a lot of people cheered and called out to him. The only time it got loud was when trucks would intentionally block trailer view to annoy fans and they fans who were behind barricade across the street, went nuts telling them to move. It's nothing like what the media says.
That's why I get so angry when people say "get him out of crazy NY". It's such bull. It was only on the first day that it got nuts and I bet it was no more than 5 minutes of craziness. And he didn't get papped on weekends on his off time (well, only once with his manager, remember "new vocation" video. He was at bars and restaurants w/o people bothering him.
Anyway, rant over. It was fun to have him here.
I mean, would you like to kiss Michelangelo's "David" or a Greek statue in a museum? They are beautiful, cold and hard as marble as well. I don't know how they smell, never sniffed at one.

dany - yeah i dont think i could have hung out ALL day either. I dont think i could have sat outside waiting to get into comic con for over a couple of hours. I definitely couldn't sit out there for 1-2 days like some did, sorry not even for Rob. I think if i was young i would have. My husband & I have given up on all day concerts too, they are just too long and draining. I sound freaking old :)

ReplyDeleteAna73, I literally only stayed about 20 minutes each time. I just basically wanted to see him in the flesh. The times that I went he was filming. I think all the fan encounters happened after he was done filming. I don't even think I can approach him if i saw him in a bar, let alone interrupt him while he was working. A glimpse of him in the flesh was enough to satisfy me.

I got the dolls and some bookmarks, but not the ones I originally wanted. (I'm also looking for a key ring, a lion/lamb cup and I loove the team Edward sigg bottles. Not possible to get here :(.) Anyway the NM merch. is looking so much better. Hopefully I can buy some of it in a few months. (Okay, call me crazy now :p.)

That being said..I have a Bella sized hole in my chest because I miss Robward...I want to see more of him . In my head I know this is how it should be it is New Moon after all.

ReplyDeleteGreat trailer. Taylor in the middle is a bit annoying but now I am looking forward to NM more than before. I know I will be hated here, but ..... I used to be Team Swtiz then I changed to Team Jacob. Like Edward, but..... too moody, too controlling, too pessimistic. Love Rob tho. Edward does get better as the books move on. NM is my second fav, with Eclipse taking first. Looking forward to both.BD .... not so much. I see as much chemistry between B & J as B & E. The hand touching on the bike .... very sensual. Nite everyone, if I am not the only one left here.

And I cant recall when he climb Bellas Window in New moon answers please. I prefer Rob all they way Taylor is not what I like I,m not uying it. I think I' think the ony good part of the movie is going to be the first and the last and the middle will be boringggg
ReplyDeleteI think New Moon AND Eclipse are going to be awesome films. So much more going on in them than Twilight.And Catherine is not directing them. LOL. I think that Taylor is growing into the Jacob role very nicely and by next year he'll look even older and will fit in well.

Don't fret ladies, by Saturday afternoon we'll probably see photos of the Eclipse Cast Welcome Back Dinner that was on Friday night. It was just reported on Twitter that they were having a dinner, they were waiting for Rob to get there, but the name of the restaurant would not be disclosed (thank God).
