I don't think Jacob was ABLE, even if he were willing, to risk everything for Bella until he asserted his 'alpha-ness' in the last book. Edward was not only willing to control himself from harming Jacob because Bella cared for Jacob, (like Heathcliff), but he wanted himself gone from a world that had no Bella-- Jacob did not seek to do that to himself at all, and I don't think it was in his character even if he were able.
I bought my tickets for the film today but after all these clips the last few days I am seriously fearing they will self combust in my wallet because of my excitement. I should put them in a safe deposit box =P
Yeah... the voice over is killing me too. Thats the same one as one Twilight TV spot remember.... "they live among us...." That was my least favorite trailor, i think because of that voice. BTW... those announcers make big time $$$$$$. What a great job to have
I'm so frickin excited. Beyond belief, just .....UGH! I snatched my tickets for the midnight premire already. It's gonna be amazinggg! (I just love how far out she pulls her hand before smacking Paul. It's like "Going, going, a LITTLE fartherrr anddd, SMACK!". lol :D
seriously? they couldn't pull off that voice over any better than that? other than that, loved it of course, but it's soooo distracting! fail, summit :(
Edward went to Italy ASKING for death. He was willing to die because he thought that Bella no longer existed in the world, and he no longer wanted to be part of the world because of that fact. Yes, Jacob and the wolves protected her while Edward was gone, but Jacob never wanted to end his life (eg risking everything for Bella) like Edward. So yes, I think the announcer, as cheesy as the voiceover was, was right on point.
