When in reality, I think, he's more of the calm, relaxed, cerebral, logical, nerdy but with-a-cool-factor-kind-of guy, who can discuss anything under the sun. Once, he described himself as "boring". Imagine that!

Picture = Breathtaking. I really think it would be completely bizarre to film scenes with hundreds of fans just staring at you. Poor Rob. He wanted to play a normal guy and then he ended up in an abnormal situation b/c they were filming outside. Breaks my heart that he was hiding in his hotel over the 4th of July. I hope eventually things calm down for him and he continues acting. I mean if he has this level of talent at 23 what's he going to be like at 40? I get dizzy thinking about it.
@Birgit, I am aware he is not American. It breaks my heart that on his day off July 4th he wasn't able to go out with friends, catch any shows, take a walk without worrying about the papparazi.
I didn't think he needed to be celebrating our 4th of July. I just thought it was sad that he can't go out anymore.

And the interview was good, I liked it, I just wish some journalist could focus not only on the “drag” it must be this “sudden fame”, but also make him talk about his expectations from all this, if he has plans for the future in this... something other than the "fame" and the screaming fans following him; because soon it will start sounding for general public, that may catch just little of him and not so obsessed like us; like if he were whining about all this, and he does mention that it is very difficult situation but at the same time it is mentioned in the article he does it kind of laughing about it, but it may get lost in interpretation and just focused on the complaining; maybe more variety in the topics would help to not make focus on that part, because I bet Rob has many things he could talk other than this fame.
I hope soon there will be more gorgeous pics like this and deep interviews.

Beg to differ with you, Femroc, on your blanket statement about acting being all about seeking attention. That may be your definition but it isn't mine as being 'the whole' of acting. A performer can want people to watch them, while in character, but not want to promote their private selves. There are some who do differentiate between what they do onstage or on film and how they are in life. And there are many different kinds of performers. The pleasure he may get from acting may be about the process, or about working with other actors and not from the kind of attention-seeking I think he's talking about here - the need to aggrandize himself.
I guess you'd rather he didn't act if he can't be entirely comfortable with all aspects of an acting career. I think he's considering that himself. I'd rather he continue acting because I enjoy what he has to offer, in whatever guise he chooses.
