The only person dressed well was Taylor! Kristen looks like she just jumped off the pages of an 80s magazine, Chris looks like a clown with orange pants and Rob looks like he is ready for a day by the fireplace and read a book...
I actually like this look on Rob. I think he looks sexy when he's disheveled and scruffy. Kristen's outfit is very age appropriate and fashion forward which is perfect for London. CW's pants kill me! They speak to his personality and I love it. Taylor looks great but out of place with the way the other three are dressed.

OMG Im like in the 10th photo down. He so bloody gorgeous and absolutely lovely. He signed my book and spoke to me - arghhhh! Rob and Kristen were both amazing - they went round to all the fans and both signed my books and spoke. But Taylor's bloody assisstant person kept making him do press and so he didnt come over - grrrrrrrrrr (now I am most definitely Team Edward).
I would say our boy has decided not to fight his fame and just enjoy the ride! These are definitely real 'I'm enjoying this' smiles as opposed to 'I have to smile, it's my job'.
While most of the time I do think CW is a DILF, those pants do nothing but prove he has a sense of humor!
It's nice to see him home :) (and looking so god damn good!) I wonder what he thought of the British fans, it must have been a long time since he's seen them... you love us English girls the best, right Rob?

I was just walking in Paris yesterday, a street just near the Crillon Hôtel and noticed a guy wearing orange pants (I didn't know at this moment WHO it was) and then checked up the face (who would dare to wear such a thing??) and -in my head- "it's incredible like he looks like Chris Weitz", a second later "he IS Chris Weitz"!!! Amazing!!
There was no fan around him, he was just walking peacefully with a woman, speaking with her. I didn't dare to go back to speak to him, but sure I'd have done it if it had been Rob!!
The pink flower is a red poppy and nearly everyone in Britain wears one leading up to November 11th or Armistice Day as it is known. It is to remember those that died in the Great War and WWII.
Red poppies are traditionally worn on Nov 11 Veteran's Day (Armistice Day) and honor the war dead. The dead are memorialized by (Canadian) Lt. Col. John McCrae, who died in WWI, in his poem "In Flanders Fields" The first 2 lines--

Something has changed here. Rob is back to the witty, smiling, self depracating guy we fell for during the first Twi promos. Maybe it's because he's on his home ground and knows that the interviewers are less intrusive that in the US, maybe he's come to terms with whatever his relationship is with K., doesn't matter, it's great to see him being himself (compare this to Comic Con last summer, for example.) Welcome back Rob. I had despaired that I would ever see this side of you after all the paparazzi chaos you have had to endure this past year.

So apparently he's spending Christmas in UK and gets a bit of a break. Hope gorgeous gets some serious down time in UK - he needs more hometime to get this lovely giddy happy face and refresh his accent and chill, he allways seems more relaxed with his familiar people and sounds of home.
So cute - he seems very happy anywhere in Europe, next stop Spain would be familiar too. It's great he gets to London/Euro re-charge before all of the real biggie appearances and premiere next week. Squeeeeeee so close now!
Hi Guys - that book is not The Host - all of the Twilight Saga novels have an advertisement for The Host on the inside of the front cover in England so thats why you can see it.
Like Kespax comment re. Rob in Europe. Someone told me that in Europe their celebrity culture different than in US. While they appreciate celebrities, they don't idolize them as much but view them as doing a job. Perhaps that's why the interviewers are more respectful and not going for the personal stuff to get attention for themselves as well. Just a thought, but Rob certainly seems more relaxed and back to his giggly, witty, charming British self during this whirlwind tour. Let's see what happens when he gets back to the States and is confronted with all the media vultures and awkward questions. He needs to keep Kristin close 'cause you can bet she'll shut it down if the questioning gets too personal and off limits!

I think I saw Taylor's suit before,oh yeah he wore the same clothes when they were having promos for twilight, well Rob repeats clothes too but he does it so well no one even minds what's he wearing. (although many wouldn't mind if he doesn't wear any at all..eh!?)

I was just walking in Paris yesterday, a street just near the Crillon Hôtel and noticed a guy wearing orange pants (I didn't know at this moment WHO it was) and then checked up the face (who would dare to wear such a thing??) and -in my head- "it's incredible like he looks like Chris Weitz", a second later "he IS Chris Weitz"!!! Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThere was no fan around him, he was just walking peacefully with a woman, speaking with her. I didn't dare to go back to speak to him, but sure I'd have done it if it had been Rob!!
The pink flower is a red poppy and nearly everyone in Britain wears one leading up to November 11th or Armistice Day as it is known. It is to remember those that died in the Great War and WWII.

ReplyDeleteI wish Taylor would change up his look a little, Rob is phoning it in appearance wise on this tour, but he can get away with it, he's so pretty. I like Kristen's dress, it's playful and young and fun.

Something has changed here. Rob is back to the witty, smiling, self depracating guy we fell for during the first Twi promos. Maybe it's because he's on his home ground and knows that the interviewers are less intrusive that in the US, maybe he's come to terms with whatever his relationship is with K., doesn't matter, it's great to see him being himself (compare this to Comic Con last summer, for example.) Welcome back Rob. I had despaired that I would ever see this side of you after all the paparazzi chaos you have had to endure this past year.

@lallieb..Ya know what, honey? I think you said it all with your post. I've been here for almost a year, and watched him do a bit of a transformation (naturally) and lately have seen the old Rob that I initially fell in love with. Happier Rob. Beautifully put.

ReplyDeleteHope gorgeous gets some serious down time in UK - he needs more hometime to get this lovely giddy happy face and refresh his accent and chill, he allways seems more relaxed with his familiar people and sounds of home.
So cute - he seems very happy anywhere in Europe, next stop Spain would be familiar too. It's great he gets to London/Euro re-charge before all of the real biggie appearances and premiere next week.

ReplyDeleteHi Guys - that book is not The Host - all of the Twilight Saga novels have an advertisement for The Host on the inside of the front cover in England so thats why you can see it.
ReplyDeleteLike Kespax comment re. Rob in Europe. Someone told me that in Europe their celebrity culture different than in US. While they appreciate celebrities, they don't idolize them as much but view them as doing a job. Perhaps that's why the interviewers are more respectful and not going for the personal stuff to get attention for themselves as well. Just a thought, but Rob certainly seems more relaxed and back to his giggly, witty, charming British self during this whirlwind tour. Let's see what happens when he gets back to the States and is confronted with all the media vultures and awkward questions. He needs to keep Kristin close 'cause you can bet she'll shut it down if the questioning gets too personal and off limits!
