Yeeeyy smiling. That's good, he has reasons to. He had a very nice welcoming and the airport security was much better than Kris and Taylor had in Sao Paulo. I think it's so funny that nobody there noticed Chris Weitz. All their attention was on Rob.
He looks so much more relaxed when he hasn't got girls trying to grab him in a headlock and the Japanese benefit from the fact that they are so much more respectful. If it had been anywhere else and they were grabbing him he would have been rushed straight through the airport and nobody would get a chance to have that lovely smile bestowed on them.
Oh and to the person who pointed it out, yes I agree it does look on one picture like the ladt is grabbing for his junk!

Since Rob's obviously got all these people he likes around him (Nick and Stephanie and of course Chris), I 'm sure this will be a very pleasant journey for him :).
Woke up early for no reason..then found my reason! Sooo impressed with the Japanese. See what you get when you behave? Other cities should learn to follow suit! It would encourage him to cover more cities.
See the difference in his face and demeanor at this, when he is happy and willing to greet fans who are behind barriers and so not in his face or in his way of walking, and not screaming foul garbage at him, and the airport photos by the paps? It isn't that ROb does not appreciate fans, or that he doesn't want to be gracious. He just doesn't want to be hunted and wants to have his own life, with fans in their time, and his own friends and family in his and their time.
He looks gorg as usual and glad to see him look happy. I aggree ~ugh 11 hour flight and he looks so good. I just recently had a 3 hour flight and felt like... a mess.LOL. Chris is looking quite smexy himself..love the haircut and there is a pic showing his upper arm... lookin pretty nice and buff....
Why the hell does Nick keep dragging Rob along? It's so annoying. He obviously WANTS to sign things for the fans but Nick doesn't seem to give a shit. If they are not on the same page why is he still working for him? Maybe it's too much of a hassle to find someone else, but I don't know about how these things work... Anyway, the guy doesn't seem to have a clue. You would think by now he knows how Rob is.
And again, I don't understand the lot of Japanese girls that know to show up at the airport. It would be quite weird, fake if that stuff was publicity and actually told to people for that.
ps. to be honest i wanted to see more pics of chris... is that weird? hahaha. it's just funny that you know and anyone who hangs with rob knows that when they're out with him, even though they might be photographed, most all eyes will be on him for photos anyway.

If only America was as organized as Japan is.. I'm pretty sure we would have a lot more Rob sightings and encounters. He seems somewhat relaxed and happy over there. If only these crazy chicks over here would stop harassing him everytime he was in public and actually ask politely for pics and autographs instead of mauling him for it.. Rob would be a happier man. And we ALL want that. :)
Read that he's got his guitar with him. Thought he only had a day or 2 in Japan. Doesn't he have almost a week free after this until the next promo spot? Wonder if he's extending his stay a bit or just wait it out in LA?
I wonder if it is possible to set up such barricades at all airports before he comes, giving him safe passage whilst fans can see him and the pains in the neck can photograph him, or if that is somehow against America's freedom of press laws, not giving press (if you can all them that)free access?

One or two people have commented that he sseems happier when he's away from the USA....well in defence of the US/Canadian fans (I'm English LOL)they've hardly had a chance to actually get close to him have they? After the situation in New York in June Summit have definitely upped their security as regards access to Rob. I wonder if a tad too much...Look at New Moon...he was allowed to be interactive a little with fans and sign autographs, have piccies taken etc. Eclipse? Nothing....no fan meeting opportunities, he was locked away in hotel rooms (OK that may have been by his own choice) but even so it's all been a lot more low key.
I really don't think Rob minds meeting fans etc...it's the way it's managed that makes a difference.
Even if he's in 'work mode' you can't dispute the fact that he's doing his best!
I do wish that bloody Nick his Manager would stop manhandling him as though he was a child in need of guidance....

Respectful fans bring out the best in Rob. His smile is so beautiful when he is relaxed and happy. Ahhh, and I love when he wears Kristen's Yankee cap whenever he is away from her.

A few years ago I had a Hayden Christensen obsession and he acted the same way when he went to Japan - was so excited like a little kid and giggly. They bow and say such nice things and make you feel really special and like they honor you. It makes you feel humble cause you don't feel worthy of their adoration.
