Robert Pattinson - Faster Kill Pussycat (R.I.P. Brittany Murphy)



TMZ is reporting that Brittany Murphy passed away this morning. She died of a cardiac arrest and was only 32 years old. Rest in peace Brittany....

Please take a moment to think about taking care of yourselves and don't think of yourselves as impervious to illness or effects from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and unhealthful food. We are none of us invulnerable, indestructible, invincible.

    woah, thats so sad, R.I.P Brit. It's quite scary to think about her only being 32, im only a few years yonger. So sad to start with, and even more so for the Christmas period, I feel for her family.
    I loved that track she featured on.
    From the interviews I saw, she seemed a real character.

    This is so sad, I loved her in Clueless. There's no way she died of a heart attack at the age of 32 without some serious contributing factors. If nothing else, she was bone thin.

    I love this song, but never made the connection between the Brittany Murphy on the song & the actress. She was a really good singer, what a waste.

    Marna, it could be she just had a weak heart, or maybe had a virus that attacked her heart, or even a side effect of meds. I have read that many assume, as an actress, there was something suspicious, but sometimes a person is just not well. That said, what I posted before still stands: we all have to take better care of ourselves, and certainly avoid that which is known to be damaging and/or deadly.

    I saw her in 'Don't Say a Word.' I was impressed with her acting there. My girls saw her in Devil's Arithmetic.

    great video!!! i love her voice...she's a solid singer...remember that movie she did with the Sex in the City post-it guy? guy from The Office? she sang Carly Simon alot and i thought she had such a nice voice. She was a good comedian. so sad. :((

    My family just went through something ver scary with my 22 yr old neice.

    She got what we all thought was the flu, then dropped & passed out. Had to be life flighted to the hospital & put on
    life support.

    She had to have a 10 hr open heart surgery to replace all the valves in her heart. Turns out she got a cut on her foot and it turned into a staph infection that traveled to her heart and burst.

    She was in a coma for days & almost died 2 times.

    She came home from hospital the day before thanksgiving.

    Point of my long story is that she was a happy healthy 22 yr old and we almost lost her from some freak thing.

    She's alive, but will never be the same again..

    So sad---I didn't even know about her singing. I'd seen that Rob vid a while back---Brittany had a fantastic voice.

    And Uptown Girls, with Dakota, love that movie! Made me cry so hard.

    May she rest in peace---and may her family find comfort ahead. So very sad.

    And yes, I have a heart murmur from something as stupid as a strep throat my parents kept dismissing as a sore throat from too much talking! And I know a girl with a heart murmur who died from having a scratch on her leg; it got infected and the infection went to the heart. My kids say I am over-protective, but I am a worrier from good reasons!

    RPG, wow, how awful! so sorry for you. glad to hear that she was well enough to go home, though.

    until there's official word, there's no way to tell what caused her death, her age does make you wonder but strange things can happen...there was a highschool girl in my area a few years ago who was a seemingly healthy, active girl-she played for the basketball team, and one day after practice she just collapsed and died. turned out she had a heart condition that no one knew about.

    it's just so sad, no matter the cause.

    So sad about Brittany.:( May God bless and strengthen her family. Amen and Amen. And I went to church this morning and heard that a member's oldest son was murdered yesterday while at the barber shop. Some crazy person just came in there and started shooting. She had just asked the church a week ago to pray for her son. Then this happens. You just don't know when God will call you back home. When it's your time to go, it's your time to go. What a Sunday. *sigh* :(((

    I fell in love with this song after watching Trix's vid. I looked it up and found out Brittany sang in it. I downloaded it to my iPod and listen to it all the time. I would always think of her when I listened to it(and Rob of course)and what a good singer she was. I never knew before. I always liked her as an actress (Clueless is a classic), and I'm glad I got to know how multi-talented she was. Rest in peace Brittany.

    I saw her in few movies and quite liked her. And I've always loved this Paul Oekenfold's song.
