Ok, before I say anything, I just want to put it out there first that I am a true fan of both Rob, and Kristen's. So you can’t skin me alive for stating the truth. The simple fact, and what the media won’t listen to, is that they are just good friends. Kristen said it her self, “she has acquired a good buddy”. They are under contract, undoubtedly for marketing purposes, to not talk about their personal relationships….can we all say it at the same time please…..drum roll…..DUHHH. There are way to many rumors! It’s ludicrous to believe that they have broken up because they have not been seen with each other…hello…they are not making a movie or promoting one, why would they be seen together. Now, I am not saying they won’t ever fall in love or have some torrid affair in the future, but as of now they have not been together as a couple…ever. Oh, and Kris still has the same boyfriend she has had for almost 4 years now. No wonder we believed the weapons of mass destruction bs, we can really be duped by the media.
Crittel not to be rude or anything, but I believe that "fact" is still debatable for now... many people feel strongly about
1- That the "relationship" is just a publicity stunt and they are really ONLY friends(I don't believe that, bcz they don't seem the kind of people to pull off such a thing)
2- They are as you say just friends and they don't feel the need to explain anything further to anyone(very plausible)
3- they were once ONLY friends and now they are more, things developed and they were actually instructed by their production company to keep it under raps(far fetched about the pro co but still an option)
4- they were, are , and always will be very much in love and owe anyone anything (for whatever reason don't want to mention anything) and they are cool with that(also plausible but somehow I don't believe the "always" part since KS just broke up with ex around May 09 "CH version")
5- who knows, we shouldn't care really, if they are great, if they aren't also great, too many people are invested way too much in this... type of situation
6- time will tell, and will prove some right, and some wrong as this is inevitable.
I cannot believe they made a big deal out of that - how utterly ridiculous. Plus all they found was an unmade bed, jeans on the floor and an opened twix wrapper..........big freakin' deal.......my house looks 10 times worse than that - I rarely ever make my bed and dishes might stay in the sink for like 2 whole days before they get washed........OMG alert the media!!!! Jeez - that's so stupid to rag him over something that stupid. Give the guy a break for heaven's sake.
Oh - I just ate some of the Greek yogurt that Rob likes so much and they found cartons of all over the New Moon set, they said.......FAGE yogurt, pronounced Fay-yeh!
It tastes like a thick sour cream with a little bit of fruit flavoring you mix into it. It's very thick and has the pasty yogurt on one side and the little bit of fruit on the other side and you mix it together. It's all natural with 2% milkfat, 135 calories. I got it at Central Market in Texas. I didn't see it in my regular grocery stores - Central Market carries a wider variety of ecclectic foods.
I'd like to hear your report of how it tastes to you. Rob apparently loves it.
Do people actually make their beds in hotels?! lol I find that totally hilarious all on it's own... unless maybe they are referring to him "actually" dialing housekeeping to tidy up his room before the interview *hmm*

crazy vamp - i helped to raise my three step children the youngest was 5 and the oldest was 11 when i came into their life and they were NEVER sick,they all lived with us. they are all in their 20's now. i have my only son and he is the sick one-my husband says that it's my genes LOL.

I read in a New Moon magazine from US that Rob said he finds women especially attractive "when they hate me right from the beginning".
A lot of guys are like that - they like the challenge of trying to win us over......so I'm guessing Rob just wouldn't like me cause there is just no challenge here! I hate NYE, it's amateur night. Too many people think they have to get drunk. Shit, I don't need a special day just to get drunk, I can do that anytime. I just want to stay home & watch TV.

LOL) in April. She's single now. Things can change over time. They have a real strong connection and major chemistry and some lovely sexual tension. Throw that all together and...*shrugs* PR stunt. NO. If that was the case why weren't they sitting together at CC09 and all the awards shows at all times? Why at CC09 Summit told the media not to ask personal questions. They were there to promote a movie not their love life. Why weren't there constant PDA? Why all the hiding if it's a PR stunt? Why aren't they shouting on the rooftops about their fake love, if it was a PR stunt? See you have to take into accounts everything that has happened. And from what we have all seen this is NO PR STUNT. And they have been see together when they weren't promoting anything. The lovely trip back to LA this summer. Going to see Marcus and Bobby play at their gigs. Being seen at Chateau Marmon the next morning. Being seen with Marcus and a girl at Hotel Cafe, right? I think you have missed a lot of what's been going on these last several months.
Loves Rob- I know you said you had hope. Think about this. Your friend could be right, BUT they are on set aka work. So why would they slob each other down or jump on each other at work? LOL And in front of folks they work with? They are professionals and know how to keep things separate. And like we have been hearing from them both they are very private people. And you said something else before about your friend was told by someone when they did the EW interview that they were "just friends". Interesting. But who and why is this person telling your friend that? Oh wait, you said the interview was done to hype up their relationship? So that's why the person was informed it wasn't true? So did Rob's or Kris people tell the interviewer or said something to your friend on the side that they weren't together? Do you have any more details? Inquiring minds do want to know.LOL
I think it's quite possible Robert and Kristen are like serious platonic besties or have something brewing. Both are totally possible.
But the PR stunt argument is straight up bullshit to me though.
You know what a PR stunt looks like for NM promotion/crossover celebrity promotion? Taylor LAutner dating Taylor Swift. Very publicly and coyly. And then "breaking up" after publicly. Notice the specific timing, the public, pap friendly way it was handled, and the specific beginning and ending of it all.
THAT'S how you do a PR showmance, folks.
Robert and Kristen hanging out outside of work in ways that could be romantic or simply friendly for a better part of a year now is NOT how to do a showmance.
Taylor's status was enhanced with Taylor Swift. Robert doesn't need celebrity enchancement-he's one of the biggest stars today. He doesn't NEED a showmance. Even if Summit benefits from K/R rumors, Robert really doesn't. It just lands him aside Jon Gosselin and Jessica Simpson on tabloids. That's NOT what Robert needs right now-overexposure.

A twilight showmance last year would have made sense-they weren't superstars yet, the extra pr would have been great.They didn't though.

ReplyDeleteYou really are on a roll. So funny. Hey, do you have cabin fever from the unexpected snow. We are used to snow in Ky., but even if the snow is light and roads are fine, I still get a crazy, housebound feeling! Sort of makes you feel like Jack N.'s character in The Shining. hahaha
Come to think of it, I'd like to be snowbound in a big old hotel with RP.

Hello RPG and crazy vamp. I have been trying to catch up on my ff updates. Could not read much while at my brothers during the holiday.
ReplyDeleteIt snowed here yesterday but today is in upper 50's and sunny - Texas weather is SO wierd sometimes. Last week it was close to 80 then the next day we had a BLIZZARD of ice and snow on Christmas eve.

BUT I am going to have a party at my house on Jan. 1 - invited lots of musician friends and we're gonna jam and wail the night away and just annoy all the neighbors so that should be fun.
I hate NYE, it's amateur night. Too many people think they have to get drunk. Shit, I don't need a special day just to get drunk, I can do that anytime. I just want to stay home & watch TV.
ReplyDeleteCrittel - When Kris said "She has acquired a good buddy" that was last year at the MTV Movie Awards. Just saying. Now this year she is no longer with MA. MA went MIA(I do love how this rhymes. LOL) in April. She's single now. Things can change over time. They have a real strong connection and major chemistry and some lovely sexual tension. Throw that all together and...*shrugs* PR stunt. NO. If that was the case why weren't they sitting together at CC09 and all the awards shows at all times? Why at CC09 Summit told the media not to ask personal questions. They were there to promote a movie not their love life. Why weren't there constant PDA? Why all the hiding if it's a PR stunt? Why aren't they shouting on the rooftops about their fake love, if it was a PR stunt? See you have to take into accounts everything that has happened. And from what we have all seen this is NO PR STUNT. And they have been see together when they weren't promoting anything. The lovely trip back to LA this summer. Going to see Marcus and Bobby play at their gigs. Being seen at Chateau Marmon the next morning. Being seen with Marcus and a girl at Hotel Cafe, right? I think you have missed a lot of what's been going on these last several months.
ReplyDeleteLoves Rob- I know you said you had hope. Think about this. Your friend could be right, BUT they are on set aka work. So why would they slob each other down or jump on each other at work? LOL And in front of folks they work with? They are professionals and know how to keep things separate. And like we have been hearing from them both they are very private people. And you said something else before about your friend was told by someone when they did the EW interview that they were "just friends". Interesting. But who and why is this person telling your friend that? Oh wait, you said the interview was done to hype up their relationship? So that's why the person was informed it wasn't true? So did Rob's or Kris people tell the interviewer or said something to your friend on the side that they weren't together? Do you have any more details? Inquiring minds do want to know.LOL

You know what a PR stunt looks like for NM promotion/crossover celebrity promotion? Taylor LAutner dating Taylor Swift. Very publicly and coyly. And then "breaking up" after publicly. Notice the specific timing, the public, pap friendly way it was handled, and the specific beginning and ending of it all.
THAT'S how you do a PR showmance, folks.
Robert and Kristen hanging out outside of work in ways that could be romantic or simply friendly for a better part of a year now is NOT how to do a showmance.
Taylor's status was enhanced with Taylor Swift. Robert doesn't need celebrity enchancement-he's one of the biggest stars today. He doesn't NEED a showmance. Even if Summit benefits from K/R rumors, Robert really doesn't. It just lands him aside Jon Gosselin and Jessica Simpson on tabloids. That's NOT what Robert needs right now-overexposure.

ReplyDeleteA twilight showmance last year would have made sense-they weren't superstars yet, the extra pr would have been great.They didn't though.
This year it's a whole different game though. Robert's the biggest celebrity right now. Kristen's not doing so bad herself.They are trying to branch out from the franchise--her doing the indie route, Robert establishing himself outside of the Edwardian mold.
Why the hell would they do a showmance when they are both a)really famous now b) overspeculated about as it is c)trying to establish a career beyond Twilight?
I agree no one can say for sure what they have, I can't. But saying they are doing things for PR purposes is just completely off base.
